Chapter 55: Enjoy plunder and possession

Ji Yang looked at his son’s little face, then at the flowers Su Ai offered, his heart overflowing.

“Good.”

Before, Ji Yang thought that spring, summer, autumn, and winter were just seasonal changes, nothing special, the same every year, the same every day.

But this year’s spring seemed different.

He thought he would always remember this spring: flowers, companionship, his lover, and his child’s smiling face.

This was everything in his life.

With his new toy, the little guy couldn’t wait to show off and play with his friends: “Mom, I’m going out to play for a while.”

Su Ai nodded: “Okay, don’t be too late, come back soon.”

“Hmm, okay.”

The child ran off. Su Ai sat on the small stool the child had just been sitting on and continued to help Ji Yang prepare the vines for basket weaving.

“Thank you.”

“What?”

“For the flowers.”

Su Ai looked up at Ji Yang, smiling faintly: “That’s a pretty perfunctory thank you.”

Ji Yang’s cheeks flushed, and his hand holding the flowers tightened slightly.

A gentle breeze blew, and the scent of flowers spread between them, the air thick with unspoken intimacy.

Su Ai’s intentions were clear; she tilted her head slightly, looking at Ji Yang.

Ji Yang glanced at the doorway; no one was there.

He quickly lowered his head, kissed her, and tried to get up, but Su Ai grabbed his collar, preventing him from escaping.

Su Ai sat on the small stool, legs wide apart, clearly shorter than Ji Yang, and her figure seemed thinner and weaker than Ji Yang’s, but in this scene, anyone could see that Su Ai was the strong one, dominating everything.

They kissed and caressed.

Su Ai quickly took away all of Ji Yang’s breath, strong and domineering, making Ji Yang unable to cope.

He was still worried that someone might come in through the open door at any moment.

The thrill of potentially getting caught constantly stimulated his nerves.

His heart beat faster and faster, and the air grew thinner and thinner.

Until Su Ai released Ji Yang, his eyes were hazy with moisture.

His lips were red and swollen, glistening with moisture.

Su Ai was very satisfied.

She helped Ji Yang settle back into his wheelchair and softly hummed a tune, clearly in a good mood.

Ji Yang’s basket fell to the ground; Su Ai picked it up and continued weaving.

Ji Yang could only hear Su Ai’s off-key humming, his ears burning, feeling utterly helpless.

He had never been able to counterattack.

But he also enjoyed this strong, domineering seizure, possession, and love.

Ji Yang curled his lips, raised the bouquet of flowers, gently held it in front of his face, and looked at the distant sunset.

There were so many colors in the flowers that even the sunset seemed to turn into a rainbow.

It was as if his dull and uninteresting life had become vibrant and colorful because of Su Ai.

Su Ai was weaving the basket; after a while, Ji Yang gently pushed his wheelchair.

“Where are you going?”

Ji Yang’s voice was slightly hoarse: “To arrange the flowers.”

“Oh.”

“What did you think I was doing?” Ji Yang felt that Su Ai’s tone was off.

Su Ai spoke honestly: “I thought you were going to the bedroom.”

“Bedroom?” Ji Yang didn’t understand at first, but after realizing it, his face turned incredibly red, almost throwing the flowers at Su Ai’s head.

He wanted to give her a good look at her brain and what she was always thinking about.

But these were the first flowers he had received, and he couldn’t bear to throw them away, so he silently went into the room.

Su Ai’s happy laughter followed him.

In the evening, Su Ai made dinner at home and also braised pig’s feet. Li Cuihua had really sent the pork over during the day.

Su Ai braised it for two or three hours before bed, planning to let it soak overnight and then braise it over high heat for another hour tomorrow.

Su Ai planned to eat pig’s feet rice tomorrow.

The Su family was harmonious; on the other hand, Su Peng’s family was also happy.

Su Peng said he had done as Su Daguo had instructed. Now that he had money, Su Peng was a little arrogant. Although he still felt a little reluctant to let go of Qi Xiuer, after all, he had been chasing her for so long and had spent so much.

But he thought, making two hundred yuan a day is six thousand yuan a month. Even if his luck was a little worse, making five thousand yuan a month, he could become a ten-thousand-yuan household in two months.

What’s Su Ai?

What’s Qi Xiuer? He could find a beautiful woman anytime.

“Dad, don’t worry, I know there are plenty of beautiful women, as long as I have money.”

“If Qi Xiuer doesn’t want to marry me, I’ll find someone even prettier than her.”

Su Daguo glanced at his foolish son, thinking that he might have been stimulated by Qi Xiuer’s rejection.

This was good.

He finally saw clearly.

But while his wife was out, Su Daguo reminded Su Peng: “When you marry a wife, you should marry someone who is hardworking, virtuous, capable, and easy to control.”

“Do you understand?”

Su Peng nodded, he understood.

He really understood this time.

He could only have one wife, but he could have more than one woman.

Su Daguo stopped talking and silently ate his meal.

Early the next morning, Su Peng was still asleep when Qi Xiuer unexpectedly came again.

Qi Xiuer thought that her slight rejection yesterday was to whet Su Peng’s appetite.

According to her plan, Su Peng should have come looking for her.

But Su Peng didn’t come.

Qi Xiuer couldn’t sit still.

She had chosen Su Peng and couldn’t let him slip away.

So she came again in the morning.

Li Cuihua was cleaning up the dishes, Su Daguo was in the room smoking his pipe, puffing away. Qi Xiuer politely greeted them as uncle and aunt.

Su Daguo, as always, just hummed in response, his expression unreadable.

Li Cuihua enthusiastically poured sugar water for Qi Xiuer and went to call Su Peng.

Su Peng yawned and came out of the room.  Gone was the urgency from yesterday; he looked at Qi Xiuer casually and said, “You’re here?”

Qi Xiuer’s heart sank at his attitude.

Was Su Peng really angry?

“Mm.” Qi Xiuer responded, watching Su Peng’s reaction.

Su Peng sat down at the dining table.

“Mom, get me some food, I’m hungry.”

Qi Xiuer was completely certain that Su Peng was really angry. Usually, as soon as she came, he would eagerly take her out.

He wouldn’t let her wait a second, but now he wouldn’t even brush his teeth or wash his face before eating.

Qi Xiuer’s face was stiff.  She actually looked down on Su Peng. If it weren’t for his capable sister, she wouldn’t even want a trashy man like Su Peng even if he begged her.

Damn it, he dares to give her a cold shoulder.

Qi Xiuer knew she couldn’t just sit idly by.

So Qi Xiuer softly called out, “Su Peng.”

She bit her lower lip, looking a little wronged, as if she had something to say, opening her mouth, then looking at him.

“What?”

Qi Xiuer paused for a moment, then whispered, “Nothing.”

“Forget it, eat first, I’ll go, Su Peng.”

After saying that, Qi Xiuer turned to leave with red eyes, clearly heartbroken.
