Fu Changqing was also surprised, “Huang Siyuan, what are you doing here?”

“Do you know Tang Tang?” Lu Yunshang asked.

Huang Siyuan lowered his head, looking as embarrassed as if he’d been caught doing something wrong.

Lu Yunshang suddenly remembered what Lin Xiuhou had said at the old house about Huang Siyuan messing around with a married woman.

Her eyes widened, “That married woman is Tang Tang?”

Seeing that he could no longer hide it, Huang Siyuan nodded, “Yes, Tang Tang and I are truly in love. This time, I’m serious.”

Lu Yunshang didn’t believe him, “Then why did Tang Tang try to commit suicide?”

Huang Siyuan was stunned. He hadn’t expected Tang Tang’s life to be so hard. Tang Tang had never mentioned her past to him.

“Your turn to speak,” Lu Yunshang urged.

Huang Siyuan looked at Fu Changqing, “Tang Tang works at your club, Lanse Harbour, cousin.”

“What?” Lu Yunshang was shocked. Tang Tang was so close to her.

“She’s a waitress at the club. I met her when I went there for drinks,” Huang Siyuan said, a look of happiness in his eyes, “She’s different from the other girls in the club. She’s quiet and well-behaved.”

“Huang Siyuan, how much do you like Tang Tang?” Fu Changqing, who had been silent, suddenly asked.

Huang Siyuan froze, “Cousin, I…”

“What do you plan to do with her? Get married? Or just play around?” Fu Changqing asked again.

“Would 5 million be enough?” Fu Changqing thought, for a country person, this amount of money should be more than enough.

Lu Yunshang frowned, “Tang Tang is just a waitress. How can she come up with so much money?”

Fu Changqing looked at Lu Yunshang, “She’s your friend and my employee. I can pay this money.”

“You’re right. Tang Tang is my friend, so I should find a way to get this money.”

She decided to talk to her senior brother at the company tomorrow.

At the entrance of Mudan Garden, Lu Yunshang thanked Fu Changqing and got out of the car.

Back home, she found a bucket, filled it with water, and put the white roses in to keep them fresh.

Then she took a hot bath.

After the bath, she felt warm and relaxed.

She arranged the white roses in several vases in her home while planning how to help Tang Tang get rid of her abusive husband. She decided to take Tang Tang home to live with her after she was discharged from the hospital.

They could keep each other company.

The next morning, Lu Yunshang went to the company first. She needed to talk to Liu Jingting about Tang Tang and finish the remaining perfume orders. She planned to go to the hospital to see Tang Tang during her lunch break.

As soon as she entered the company, the receptionist stood up, holding a candied haw, “Sister Yunshang, good morning. Thank you for the candied haw. It’s sweet and sour and delicious.”

Lu Yunshang remembered the candied haws Fu Changqing had bought last night. They had arrived so early.

Entering the lobby, other colleagues greeted her, thanking her for the candied haws. Even Liu Jingting was eating one.

Lu Yunshang recounted what happened last night, mentioning Fu Changqing’s suggestion to use money to deal with Yang Gang.

She felt that if 5 million could help Tang Tang escape her misery, it would be worth it.
