“The door is opening! Stay alert!”

As the order came through her earpiece, Jiang Chaoyun tightened her grip on her pistol and aimed at the entrance of Good Flavor.

Yet to her surprise, the one who walked out was not the suspect but a rather good-looking girl.

“Can we trust them?” the officers asked gravely.

“I vouch for her!” Jiang Chaoyun declared first. “I know this girl; she isn’t a criminal.”

“So the perpetrators have really been subdued?”

Although the officers had no idea how the criminals had been taken down, the commanders made their decision and issued orderly instructions at once.

After all, Lu Li was currently unconscious and did not look like the main fighter at all.

“Does this student need to go to the hospital for a check-up?” Jiang Chaoyun asked worriedly, looking at the Lu Li supported by “Chu Zining.”

Lu Li shook her head. “He’s fine, just under a witch’s curse; two kisses from me and he’ll wake up.”

“Hm?” Jiang Chaoyun thought she had misheard.

Chu Zining was mortified and whimpered “Eee,” warning Lu Li not to talk nonsense.

Lu Li cleared her throat. “Just kidding, hehe. He’s just a bit hypoglycemic; he’ll come around in a moment.”

“Truly no need for a hospital?” Jiang Chaoyun asked with concern.

Lu Li affirmed, “Relax, he’s fine.”

After a flurry of activity, Lu Li and Chu Zining got into Jiang Chaoyun’s car; they were going back to the station together to give statements.

Jiang Chaoyun sat in the driver’s seat, while Lu Li and Chu Zining occupied the back.

It took Lu Li quite some effort to shove his own body into the car.

The back seat was small, and at 1.83 meters tall Lu Li had to curl himself up, looking rather uncomfortable.

Seeing the second personality handle Lu Li so roughly, Chu Zining felt a twinge of pity. “If you fold his body up like that, he’ll be uncomfortable.”
