Chapter 64
At night, Bai Wuluo originally intended to stay over at Xie Fuyi’s place, but he sent the other person away. After all, Ye Yunshen would come over at night; they couldn’t risk them bumping into each other, could they?
Bai Wuluo mentioned that he would come to see him again tomorrow. Xie Fuyi thought since Mu Ziming was also on the set, if he came over a few more times, maybe they would hit it off.
Usually, Ye Yunshen would come over a bit late. Xie Fuyi didn’t wait for him either; he washed up and went to bed in his pajamas.
As he drifted into a drowsy state, a figure exuding a cold and indifferent aura pressed down on him, planting light kisses on his neck.
The force he used was a bit much; there would surely be marks left on his neck. Xie Fuyi breathed out softly, pushing the person away with a groan, his sleepy voice murmuring, “Aren’t you tired? Can’t you rest earlier today…”
How did this guy have so much energy to fuss around every night with such a busy schedule?
Ye Yunshen found himself wanting him quite a bit. It took extreme self-control during work to keep his mind from wandering, and yet, for the first time, the other person had rejected him. His dark eyes clouded over as he continued, his movements unceasing, almost casually asking, “Did you enjoy the cake today?”
Xie Fuyi was brought back to alertness by the other person’s actions. He took a breath, furrowing his brows slightly. “What do you mean?”
After a moment of silence, Ye Yunshen spoke, “…I bought it for you, and you gave it to someone else.”
Ye Yunshen’s expression remained calm but oddly stubborn, his deep black eyes even showing a hint of hurt.
“What’s wrong with that?” Xie Fuyi seemed to find him inexplicable, saying lightly, “Ye Yunshen, you know what our relationship is, so what gives you the right to question me?”
“Our relationship…” Ye Yunshen murmured softly, his aura becoming extremely oppressive.
“I don’t have the right to ask, then I’ll just act.” He straightened up, leisurely loosening his tie, his ink-black eyes deep as an abyss. “Do what should be done in our relationship.”
Xie Fuyi: …Did he go too far?
…
Ye Yunshen went crazy that night. Despite restraining himself visibly, he still bothered Xie Fuyi, trying to force a response from him.
The next day, when Xie Fuyi woke up and saw the marks all over his body, he didn’t hesitate to beat the person up before leaving.
Ye Yunshen didn’t resist either, allowing the other person to vent.
He didn’t know that Xie Fuyi didn’t respond well to force; the more he pressed, the more resistance he would face. Perhaps it would be better to speak kindly and gently; then Xie Fuyi might comply with his wishes willingly.
…
Xie Fuyi wore a high-collar shirt today, but unfortunately, the marks on his neck couldn’t be completely concealed when he changed into the set’s clothes.
Fortunately, his assistant had already been informed and prepared some bandages for him.
However, Mu Ziming, who was close to him, seemed to look at him differently.
Mu Ziming stayed at the same hotel as him. Last night, he intended to discuss the script with Xie Fuyi, but as soon as he got upstairs, he felt something was off.
This floor was too quiet; every little sound could be heard.
How could that familiar, gentle voice emit such a seductive and sexy sound?
Listening to the faint sounds, his expression changed unpredictably. There was an indescribable anger in his heart—so it wasn’t his acting skills that got him in, but he seduced another man?
Why did he become such a person, selling himself out for a role?
For a moment, he wanted to rush in and stop it, but what right did he have?
…
Xie Fuyi looked at Mu Ziming, who was staring straight at his neck, and couldn’t help but speak, “Ziming, what’s wrong?”
Mu Ziming snapped out of it and slowly said, “Just wondering about the wound on your neck.”
Xie Fuyi awkwardly touched the bandage, “Just too many mosquitoes last night.”
Mu Ziming concealed the darkness in his eyes, smiling faintly, “Then you should be more careful with mosquitoes.”
…
Bai Wuluo made a new dish today. As he entered the set, he intended to go see Xie Fuyi, but as he passed by a few set decorators, he accidentally overheard their conversation.
“Did you see it? The mark on Xie Fuyi’s neck, saying it’s from a mosquito bite. Since when do mosquitoes have such big teeth?”
“It’s obviously from someone biting hard. Not only his neck, but his body also seemed unnatural today in the costume. Who knows what’s on his body…”
“No wonder he could play the male lead as soon as he came. Who knows how he got that role…”
The two gossiping people didn’t notice the extremely displeased expression on Bai Wuluo’s face behind them.
Of course, he knew how sensitive Xie Fuyi’s body was; he had caused it.
But. He hadn’t touched the other person for over a month…
With a “bang,” the chairs beneath the two were suddenly kicked away. They turned around in shock, only to see Bai Wuluo with an icy expression. “Shut up! If I hear one more word from you about him, you’ll never speak again.”
The two were about to retort, but when they met Bai Wuluo’s sharp and oppressive black eyes, a chill ran down their spines. The other person wasn’t lying…
Seeing the two silenced, Bai Wuluo walked towards Xie Fuyi’s dressing room.
In the corner, Mu Ziming watched his departing figure, his eyes cold and mocking. He really cared about the other person, didn’t he?
…
Bai Wuluo’s black eyes were icy when he saw Xie Fuyi. He suppressed the coldness and said, “Brother.”
“Wuluo.” Xie Fuyi had just finished his makeup and changed his clothes. He smiled, “Didn’t I say you don’t need to come see me? You must be busy with your startup recently.”
“It’s okay. I brought some porridge for you, brother.” Bai Wuluo smiled, then his gaze fell on Xie Fuyi’s neck. His voice subtly chilled, “Brother, how did you get hurt?”
Xie Fuyi stiffened, only able to use the previous excuse again, “It’s from mosquito bites.”
Although Bai Wuluo was still smiling, the smile didn’t reach his eyes. “Let me take a look for you, brother.”
As he reached out, Xie Fuyi quickly stepped back, “Uh, I have to go shoot now. Wuluo, if you have something, just go back first…”
He couldn’t even lie properly, such poor acting skills.
Seeing Xie Fuyi leaving in a guilty manner, Bai Wuluo couldn’t control his expression anymore. His black eyes contained cold fury—there were no marks on his neck yesterday, so who did it?
He thought of the man who delivered the cake yesterday. It seemed necessary to have someone investigate who dared to touch him in his absence.
When Xie Fuyi returned after filming a scene, Bai Wuluo had already left something behind.
Just as he sighed in relief, his phone rang.
Xie Fuyi answered the phone, and a warm voice came through the line, seeping into his heart. “Hello, who’s this?”
The other end remained silent for a moment before speaking—
“Surprise! Long time no see.” Bai Wuluo disguised as a creditor chuckled softly.
Hearing this familiar voice, Xie Fuyi’s heart skipped a beat. Was Bai Wuluo going crazy again?
