Chapter 35
Suddenly, one of the cars stopped in front of Luo Wan, and Zhang Shan got out of the car.
Under the streetlight, his dark and shiny skin accentuated his robust muscles, exuding a wild aura.
He swaggered over, his whole demeanor suggesting he was looking for trouble.
Luo Wan clenched her fists defensively.
It seemed this man couldn’t accept losing and now wanted to settle the score.
As Zhang Shan approached, Luo Wan’s vigilance increased gradually, ready to strike at any moment.
Just at the critical moment, the imposing figure, over six feet tall, suddenly underwent a drastic change.
He dropped to his knees with a thud, hands clasped in supplication.
“Boss, let me follow you from now on.”
Zhang Shan was used to being dominant in the underground arena and rarely encountered anyone who made him capitulate so quickly.
Now he genuinely admired Luo Wan.
Luo Wan was startled by this sudden turn of events and instinctively took a step back.
Zhang Shan continued to kneel forward, his voice rough.
“Boss, I have no ulterior motives. You’re the first person to defeat me. I’ll follow you faithfully from now on. If there’s anything you can’t handle in the future, you can rely on me.”
Luo Wan was not only shocked but also felt a bit ashamed. Her victory wasn’t exactly honorable.
If she hadn’t known the effects of each pressure point and targeted them during the fight, she wouldn’t have won so easily against absolute strength.
Now seeing Zhang Shan being won over by her, she couldn’t explain.
Otherwise, if he got angry after hearing it, he might challenge her right here.
Especially when he was angry, she might not have the upper hand.
“I defeated you because I needed the prize money. Now that I’ve got it, I won’t come again. You can continue to be the master of the arena.”
Luo Wan wanted him to give up this idea.
After all, although she was in A City now, she might soon regain her mother’s shares and end her marriage with Sheng Qing. Then she would leave.
So she didn’t want to have too much interaction with the people here.
However, Zhang Shan was determined.
“Boss, now that I’ve been defeated by you, I can’t go back to the underground fighting arena. If I don’t follow you, I’ll have nowhere to go in the future.”
So there was this rule.
Luo Wan only then realized that her sudden intrusion today had disrupted Zhang Shan’s life.
People like them who wandered in
People from the gray area, if they lose their accustomed way of life, can pose a threat to society.
After some consideration, Luo Wan nodded.
“All right, you can follow me from now on. But I have two requirements.”
“First, you cannot engage in any illegal activities. Second, I am not stable yet. You should find a legitimate job first. Once I’m settled, you can work with me.”
“Okay.”
Luo Wan took Zhang Shan’s phone, entered her own number, and then hung up after it connected.
“This is my number. You can contact me if you need anything.”
Zhang Shan nodded happily in agreement.
By now, it was late at night, and both had removed their masks.
Luo Wan memorized the other’s face.
“Boss, can you ride a motorcycle?” Zhang Shan suddenly asked.
Luo Wan understood his meaning and shook her head.
“No need, we’re about to reach the main road where we can catch a ride.”
Zhang Shan blocked the road directly.
“It’s late at night, and it’s not safe for a girl to be on this road alone. You better ride on my bike.”
“But what about you?”
Zhang Shan smiled up at her.
“Forget about it, Boss. Don’t you remember? I’m someone in this generation.”
With his sincere offer and the late hour, coupled with the fact that Luo Wan had to go to the airport early the next morning to pick up a certain man, Luo Wan didn’t refuse.
“Thanks.”
After Luo Wan left, Zhang Shan retraced his steps.
In the shadow cast by a big tree, listening to the sound of a luxurious Rolls-Royce, Zhang Shan walked directly towards the car.
“Everything is taken care of.”
The man in the back seat of the car leaned against the seat, his elongated eyes gazing in the direction Luo Wan had disappeared.
“Yes, sir.”
Zhang Shan bowed respectfully.
“She agreed to let me follow her. I just rode my motorcycle with her.”
“You did well.” The man in the car had a deep and magnetic voice.
“Sir, what do you need me to do next?”
“Follow her and ensure her safety.”
Zhang Shan nodded.
The black Rolls-Royce started, and the man in the back seat closed his eyes, appearing to doze off, his beauty mark at the corner of his eye looking particularly enchanting.
…
Sheng Qing’s plane landed early in the morning.
The arrivals hall was bustling with people, and Sheng Qing could have left directly from the VIP lounge.
But he thought of someone.
He knew someone would come to pick him up, so he didn’t care about the crowded crowd and walked directly with the crowd towards the exit.
The man was tall, his body enveloped perfectly by a custom-tailored suit, and his sturdy legs moved quickly forward with a cold demeanor.
He exuded an aura of coldness and nobility.
Some couldn’t help but approach him, but they were frozen in place by his cold aura.
Sheng Qing searched around and finally saw the one he had longed for at the last exit.
He quickened his pace.
The icy expression on his face melted away, replaced by a warm smile.
“Wanwan.”
Hearing his voice, Luo Wan looked up.
Seeing the man walking towards her, a smile spread across her face.
Sheng Qing stepped forward and immediately pulled his beloved into his arms, his broad shoulders enveloping her completely.
Luo Wan also smiled sweetly and buried her face in the man’s chest.
A familiar fresh scent wafted into her nose.
When husband and wife meet, they can’t wait to merge into each other’s bodies.
Xu Zheng, carrying the heavy suitcase, silently turned away.
Since the CEO got married, this single dog had been constantly fed up with dog food.
Sheng Qing took Luo Wan back to Xiyuan.
Seeing that it was still early, he pulled Luo Wan towards the bedroom.
Aunt Li was just coming out of the kitchen with desserts and, seeing this scene, tactfully retreated back.
Luo Wan blushed with embarrassment.
As soon as they entered the room, Sheng Qing pressed the two against the door. A torrent of kisses followed.
Luo Wan’s heart raced, and she could hardly catch her breath.
In the end, she had to reach out and hold onto the man’s neck to avoid slipping to the ground.
The man’s assault was fierce, and Luo Wan had no chance to react, only passively enduring.
The two moved from the doorway to the bed, clothes scattered on the floor.
Sheng Qing’s shirt was already crumpled from being grabbed.
He didn’t care and, with a strong tug, ripped open a row of buttons on his collar.
The man’s eye sockets were tinged with a terrifying crimson, and the Adam’s apple in his throat slid up and down seductively.
Luo Wan’s breathing was also rapid, her eyes watery.
She seemed to be waiting for something.
Seeing this, Sheng Qing couldn’t resist his longing and bent down to kiss her again.
Rolling and entwining.
Luo Wan felt like she was being roasted over a fire.
