Fengming was the capital city of the Lugo region. Its terrain was relatively flat, and the climate was quite pleasant, with the largest settled population in the area.
Although overall, it was not as developed as San Lorenzo, the public order was still good, and people lived a peaceful and contented life here.
Eight years ago, Mo Xin had come here to find Liang Qiuchi, but he returned empty-handed. Now, coming here again, his state of mind was completely different.
Most importantly, the person he wanted to see was already by his side.
“Where are we going?”
Liang Qiuchi drove slowly along the First Avenue, but Mo Xin refused to tell him why they were making a detour to Fengming.
He was really curious.
Mo Xin calmed his mind, glanced at the road signs, checked the map on his phone, and directed Liang Qiuchi, “Turn right at the next intersection.”
Although Liang Qiuchi was more familiar with Fengming than he was, when he saw the familiar street scenes after turning the corner, he couldn’t help but laugh.
“You wouldn’t be…”
“Just stop here.”
Mo Xin got out of the car first and walked a few steps to a small, inconspicuous shop front. After confirming the name of the shop sign, Liang Qiuchi parked the car and extinguished the engine, coming to his side with a helpless chuckle.
“It seems we’re in the right place,” Mo Xin glanced at him, then pushed open the door and walked straight in.
The wind chimes at the door made a few crisp sounds. The owner, who was wiping things next to the disinfection cabinet, turned around and warmly greeted Mo Xin. However, when he saw Liang Qiuchi behind Mo Xin, his expression changed a few times, eventually turning into a slightly embarrassed and awkward smile.
“Mr. Liang, what brings you here?” The owner hurriedly approached, nervously rubbing the seams of his pants with his fingers. “Are you here for another tattoo?”
Liang Qiuchi also felt a bit embarrassed. He pointed to Mo Xin and smiled, “Accompanying my boyfriend here.”
“Boy… boyfriend…?” The owner’s gaze shifted back to Mo Xin, who looked quite handsome but cold and unapproachable.
Mo Xin suddenly pulled out a handgun and placed it on the counter.
The owner was almost scared to his knees, his face turning pale as he retreated behind Liang Qiuchi. “Mr. Liang, what does this mean?”
Liang Qiuchi found it amusing and subtly moved a little closer to Mo Xin, increasing the distance between him and the owner.
Mo Xin looked at the owner with a faint expression. “Are you taking jobs?”
With a gun already out, could he refuse?
The owner nodded repeatedly, feeling like he was pounding garlic. “Yes, yes, yes! Of course!”
Mo Xin pushed the gun a little closer to him. “Tattoo this.”
The owner was dumbfounded for a moment before realizing what he meant. He immediately breathed a sigh of relief and nodded repeatedly. “No problem, please, have a seat and wait for me.”
While the owner prepared the stencil, Liang Qiuchi leaned close to Mo Xin’s ear with an ambiguous smile. “Is this the gun from yesterday?”
Mo Xin “hmmed” softly, his ear tips turning slightly red.
Liang Qiuchi rubbed his waist and smiled. “It seems like you were quite satisfied with yesterday’s experience. Aren’t you afraid of pain?”
Mo Xin didn’t want to be teased until he blushed, so he retorted, “I just came to see your rumored boyfriend and maybe get a tattoo.”
Now it was Liang Qiuchi’s turn to feel embarrassed.
“What rumored boyfriend…” He smiled helplessly. “Yahui just casually said a few words, and you still remember till now. Did she also tell you about this shop?”
Mo Xin nodded, looking around and asking him, “Is it the same as when you got your tattoo here before?”
Liang Qiuchi looked around as well. “More or less, it hasn’t changed much. But it was so uncomfortable back then because of the allergy that I didn’t pay much attention to the surroundings.”
He hadn’t even seen clearly what the owner looked like. He didn’t expect there to be rumors circulating about him having a secret crush on the owner, which was both ridiculous and absurd, leaving him speechless.
“The owner seems to still remember you,” Mo Xin said quietly.
Liang Qiuchi flicked his forehead playfully. “No more jelousy.”
Mo Xin glared at him, but there was a deep affection in his eyes, which was not intimidating at all but rather enticing.
Liang Qiuchi cupped his face and kissed him lightly on the lips.
The owner, who had finished preparing the stencil, stood awkwardly nearby, secretly cursing his small and narrow shop. He would definitely rent the two adjacent shops tomorrow. Definitely!
Liang Qiuchi used his thumb to press on Mo Xin’s slightly moist lips, rubbing them twice before looking up at the owner with a smile. “Sorry, is it ready?”
The owner nodded quickly, presenting the freshly printed design to Mo Xin, “Is this okay? It should be the same model as your gun.”
Mo Xin nodded and was about to follow the owner into the back room to get the tattoo when Liang Qiuchi grabbed his hand. “Are you sure you want to get it? Have you thought it through?”
“Yeah.” Mo Xin held his hand, leading him into the booth together.
He lay down on the tattoo bed and unbuttoned his pants, pulling them down a bit to expose his slender and enticing hip bones and lower abdomen.
“Give me the stencil,” Mo Xin reached out his hand, and the owner quickly handed over the prepared design.
Mo Xin tilted his head slightly and had the gun pattern printed just left of his navel, near his groin area.
The barrel of the gun pointed downward diagonally, aiming at the thing that had made Liang Qiuchi tremble countless times with pleasure.
Standing by, Liang Qiuchi’s eyes became deep.
“Let’s begin.” With the pattern printed, Mo Xin lay back again flashing Liang Qiuchi a captivating smile.
Liang Qiuchi took off his jacket to cover Mo Xin’s lower body, then pulled up a chair and sat down, holding Mo Xin’s hand. “I’m here with you.”
The owner put on rubber gloves and disinfected the tattoo gun. Seeing the two of them in this position, he felt immense pressure.
Why did he feel like he was delivering a baby?
He shook his head, gathered his courage, and approached Mo Xin again, confirming with him, “Black and white, right? Is this position and size okay?”
“Yeah, hurry up,” Mo Xin said flatly, urging him to hurry.
The grip of the gun was mostly black, and Liang Qiuchi felt his scalp tingle at the buzzing sound of the tattoo machine. Seeing Mo Xin’s fair and flat abdomen now turning red from the needle, he couldn’t help but feel sorry for him.
But Mo Xin didn’t feel much pain.
Having been through gunshots on the battlefield, this minor pain was negligible.
The design wasn’t too complicated, and the owner’s technique was skillful, so it only took an hour to finish the tattoo.
He covered the tattoo with plastic wrap and two layers of gauze, instructed Mo Xin on what to pay attention to in the coming days, and when Liang Qiuchi was about to pay, the owner repeatedly declined with a bow.
Seeing him sweating profusely and being so cautious, Liang Qiuchi couldn’t help but find it amusing.
He took out several large banknotes and pressed them on the counter’s POS machine before leaving with Mo Xin.
“How is it?” Liang Qiuchi didn’t dare to walk too fast, fearing he might hurt Mo Xin’s wound. “Does it hurt?”
“I don’t feel anything,” Mo Xin said as he got into the car, adjusting his sitting position and looking at Liang Qiuchi with deep eyes. “The wound should heal in about half a month.”
Liang Qiuchi certainly knew, but when he thought of that large tattoo, he still felt sorry.
Mo Xin took his hand and placed it on his lower abdomen, lowering his eyelids as he said softly, “When this heals, I’ll be able to see you again.”
Liang Qiuchi’s heart skipped a beat, then he held Mo Xin’s hand back, intertwining their fingers. “Yes, definitely.”
After having lunch in Fengming, the two of them didn’t delay any further and drove north along the intercontinental highway, day and night.
The next day, nearing noon, they finally arrived at the southern border of San Lorenzo. Just three kilometers ahead, there would be a police outpost for vehicle inspection and identity verification.
Liang Qiuchi parked the car by the roadside, and Mo Xin suddenly threw himself into his arms. The two passionately embraced and kissed, their hands impatiently exploring each other’s bodies, seeking and caressing tirelessly.
“Are you ready?”
Amidst rapid breaths, Liang Qiuchi held Mo Xin’s face and asked, then fervently kissed him again.
Mo Xin kissed him back, their lips and tongues entwining, unwilling to part. Only during the brief moments of gasping for air did he hurriedly murmur, “Yes,” before kissing Liang Qiuchi again.
The two of them kissed passionately for a long time, until they couldn’t delay any longer. Mo Xin reluctantly pushed away from Liang Qiuchi’s embrace.
Sitting on Liang Qiuchi’s lap, he made a few phone calls under Liang Qiuchi’s burning gaze, then glanced at the time and said, “It’s time to go.”
“Yeah,” Liang Qiuchi said in a deep voice. “Let’s go.”
The two of them looked at each other for a moment, then hugged each other tacitly.
In that tight embrace, their strong hug, vigorous heartbeat, and even their rapid breaths all became especially precious.
After a while, Mo Xin pushed open the car door and jumped out, walking forward along the road without looking back.
Dozens of meters away, there was a military off-road vehicle parked by the roadside.
Seeing him get into the car from afar, Liang Qiuchi started the engine again, stepped on the gas pedal, and drove forward.
As his car flew past the military off-road vehicle, Liang Qiuchi honked the horn.
Immediately after, he saw Mo Xin start the off-road vehicle and chase after him.
Liang Qiuchi smiled, put on his sunglasses, lowered the car window, gripped the steering wheel with one hand, and extended the other hand outside to feel the rushing wind passing through his fingers. He felt a somewhat inappropriate excitement in his heart.
The checkpoint ahead was already visible.
He stepped on the accelerator, driving the car rapidly forward.
And Mo Xin followed closely behind him, like his guardian angel, rushing towards the finish line together.
In the final moment when Liang Qiuchi stormed through the checkpoint, a high-performance military off-road vehicle suddenly collided with him, its tires screeching against the ground with a piercing noise.
The car flipped up and then crashed heavily down, finally slamming into the checkpoint booth with a “bang” after spinning twice, coming to a stop.
Dozens of police officers who were inspecting the checkpoint were unaware of what had happened. They cautiously drew their guns and quickly surrounded the two colliding cars from all directions.
“Who goes there! Get out of the car! Hands on your head and get out of the car!”
Mo Xin was the first to jump down from the almost intact military off-road vehicle.
He was wearing a black vest, camouflage pants tucked into high-top combat boots, his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and long legs catching everyone’s eye.
When they saw his highly recognizable stern face, someone immediately recognized his identity.
“General Mo…”
Mo Xin remained calm, striding towards the smoking black car that had been hit.
At this moment, the slightly deformed car door was kicked open, causing the police officers to nervously aim their guns in that direction.
First, a pair of long legs stepped out of the car door, then the entire person was exposed under the aim of many guns. He raised his hands to the side of his ears, indicating that he posed no threat, with a relaxed posture and expression.
After seeing his face clearly, the police officers present couldn’t help but gasp in shock!
It was actually Liang Qiuchi!
It was actually the A-class fugitive wanted by the Federation for nearly half a year!
“General Mo, it’s dangerous! Don’t go over…” someone loudly reminded, and someone quickly pulled the safety catch, ready to pull the trigger at any moment.
Mo Xin seemed not to hear, took out handcuffs from behind his waist, and walked leisurely towards the surrendered Liang Qiuchi.
Several media vehicles that had been contacted in advance also arrived at this moment.
Everything was just right.
So, amidst the chaos of police sirens and camera shutters, Mo Xin arrested his beloved.
