Chapter 2: Take What’s Offered, Take It All
Jiang Xiangxiang remembered that when she woke up, there was no one around. Those people must have left her alone.
This meant no one would notice her leaving. It was perfect timing; it was as if the heavens themselves were helping her.
With this thought, Jiang Xiangxiang focused on the armory on the map. To cut off their retreat, she had to remove their weapons first. This was the most important thing; otherwise, if exposed, her safety wouldn’t be guaranteed.
Jiang Xiangxiang’s mind flickered, and she instantly appeared in the armory. At first, she was a little dazed, afraid of being discovered, but her worries were clearly unnecessary.
The armory was empty. After all, in a place like northern Myanmar, security was tight. If someone could break through the layers of defense and get inside, there would be no need for a warehouse.
Let them all die.
As for the guards outside, without orders from their superiors, they wouldn’t enter casually. After all, nobody wants to die; they weren’t that reckless.
Jiang Xiangxiang looked at the crates upon crates of guns and ammunition, her anger rising. “Humph,” she thought, “I wonder how many people were killed to obtain these.”
She didn’t understand how some people in this world could be so vicious.
Move it, move it.
Move it all.
She didn’t recognize some of the weapons, couldn’t tell the difference between them, but she could read. After all, she was a college graduate; she could understand basic English labels.
Handguns, rifles, submachine guns, heavy machine guns.
Shells, grenades, hand grenades, rocket launchers.
There was even explosives and mortars, along with their corresponding launching devices—a complete assortment.
Jiang Xiangxiang was unfamiliar with these weapons. She had only ever seen them on TV. When it came to operation, she was a complete novice.
It seemed she needed to find a way to learn shooting or something similar. Otherwise, if she encountered trouble after transmigrating, it wouldn’t be good.
Jiang Xiangxiang knew this wasn’t the time to worry about that. What she should do now was take as much as she could. Everything in the warehouse, whether useful or not, she would move it, including the boxes, into her space. She wouldn’t leave anything for these criminals.
Jiang Xiangxiang raised her hand, and the huge warehouse was instantly emptied. Nothing was left.
Next warehouse.
Jiang Xiangxiang silently changed locations. The warehouse in the industrial park was large, and the contents were diverse. But once again, she was shocked.
She knew that scams were a major business in northern Myanmar, and the money obtained provided ample financial support.
But now, all that money belonged to her. Heh heh.
Jiang Xiangxiang never imagined she would become rich one day. There was not only RMB, but also US dollars, yen, won—various currencies from different countries.
Take it, take it.
This was the hard-earned money of those who had been scammed. Not a single cent could be left for them. Take as much as possible.
As for the gold…
Jiang Xiangxiang didn’t refuse. With a wave of her hand, crates of gold flew into her space, neatly arranged, just as they were outside.
She was surprised that her small hut, which looked small from the outside, seemed to be endlessly spacious inside. All the boxes were neatly arranged.
This is a treasure house.
The weapons were taken, and the money too.
What remained were some pieces of equipment.
Jiang Xiangxiang checked the map, looking at the red dots. She didn’t dare risk it; there were too many people. Most of their manpower was stationed there. If she went, she would easily alert them.
Forget it, let’s go see other places.
After all, there wasn’t just one industrial park like this in northern Myanmar; there were many. She had to go around and check them all out. She had come all this way; she had to take care of everything. Otherwise, it would make her seem inconsiderate.
Let’s all share the spoils.
When Jiang Xiangxiang worked hard, she never thought she would become a rich woman. This feeling is really great.
When she arrived at another warehouse, Jiang Xiangxiang used the same method, waving her sleeve and silently taking away all the guns and ammunition.
As for the gold and currency, that goes without saying.
This was all hard currency.
The key is that this stuff doesn’t expire. Even if she kept it in her space for thousands of years, it wouldn’t spoil.
Besides, these guns and ammunition were priceless. She didn’t think she would have the opportunity to access them after leaving northern Myanmar.
So, why not take it?
Collect, collect, collect.
When it was time for the last warehouse, Jiang Xiangxiang even took the broom in the corner. This thing would be useful after transmigrating to the 1970s.
In less than half an hour, Jiang Xiangxiang had swept through the entire northern Myanmar industrial park. She was incredibly efficient.
By the time she was finished, those people hadn’t even reacted.
Jiang Xiangxiang even doubted herself. Was everything too smooth? Were those people too slow, or were the heavens on her side?
Maybe I should collect their criminal evidence as well. I’m free anyway. It’ll be even better if I need it later.
Even if I don’t need it, I won’t regret it.
Also, she had seized some drugs along the way.
This is physical evidence.
Later, she would hand it over to the country, letting the country deal with it. She was doing her part to eliminate harm for the people.
Jiang Xiangxiang admitted that her idea was a little dangerous, but as a citizen with a sense of justice, she couldn’t just watch things get worse.
So, she had to do this.
After making her decision, she got busy again, sneaking into the office, finding the documents she needed, taking them all away, cleaning up everything, without disturbing anyone.
