Crazy And Obsessive? No, She’s A Serene and Gentle Big Sister Chapter 23

Chapter 23: Upset Stomach

The entire weekend, Jiang Yichen spent almost all of his time copying sheet music and practicing piano. He had originally planned to slack off in college, but who could have predicted that he would encounter Professor Qin, such a responsible teacher!

To avoid getting his head smashed in during class, Jiang Yichen didn’t even open a game the entire weekend.

Fortunately, the pieces assigned by Professor Qin at the beginning of the semester weren’t too difficult—just a few practice pieces. He spent two days working on them and had made considerable progress.

In addition to copying sheet music and practicing, Jiang Yichen also received calls from numerous musicians, agents, music companies, and entertainment firms back home. He added them all on WeChat and chatted briefly about their offers.

A good bird chooses its tree. Besides the offers, he planned to take a couple of days to learn more about each entertainment company and make a comprehensive decision; the offer was just one aspect, but it carried significant weight.

Monday arrived.

The first class was at eight in the morning. For someone who had pulled two all-nighters over the weekend, getting up was a challenging task. Waking up in September was already infuriating; come winter, Jiang Yichen estimated he wouldn’t be able to rise without at least eight alarms.

He arrived in the classroom, and as usual, the F4 of the dormitory sat in the last row. After a few moments of chatter, they packed their books and prepared to leave.

Each of them had different textbooks. Jiang Yichen had English, Zhang Wei had Moral Education, Shen An had Music History, and Zheng Mingcheng was even more ostentatious—he had a copy of “Battle Through the Heavens.”

None of them had the right books.

At noon, they found themselves faced with an important life decision again: what to eat for lunch?

“How about we eat at Cao’s? The second cafeteria just opened a Cao’s, and I’ve heard a lot of good things about it,” Shen An suggested.

The second cafeteria was a bit far, located to the west of the campus. However, after some consideration, they decided to go.

It was the usual four-person meal. Shen An still ordered a small bowl of rice, while Jiang Yichen and the others each got a larger takeout box.

However, opinions on the spice level varied greatly.

Zhang Wei could handle spicy food well and wanted extra spicy. Shen An and Jiang Yichen raised their eyebrows at this; if they ordered extra spicy, they doubted the dormitory’s bathroom would suffice, so they opted for mild instead. Zheng Mingcheng wanted a bit of spice.

In the end, the majority ruled: mild it was.

Back in the dormitory, the four of them shared a quiet meal, each focused on their food. Zheng Mingcheng’s face turned red as he barely took a few bites before rushing to grab a bottle of Wahaha.

He mentioned it was his first time eating at Cao’s.

Jiang Yichen patted him on the shoulder to console him. It was fine not to eat spicy food—fewer competitors for meat.

Shen An never ate much and preferred vegetables. This meant that only Zhang Wei was left competing for meat with him.

After this lunch, Jiang Yichen and Zhang Wei felt it was worth it. The meal was mostly consumed by the two of them.

After lunch, they returned to their respective beds. Jiang Yichen glanced at the princess room and the Golden Hall across from him… Maybe he should decorate his own makeshift dorm a bit?

What should he get… maybe he could create his own Golden Hall?

Going to 8 AM classes would feel like a morning court.

As he pondered, his stomach suddenly began to churn.

Oh no, he had to go!

Jiang Yichen quickly jumped out of bed and searched the dorm for some toilet paper.

“Shen Jie!”

He rushed to the door of the princess room.

Shen An poked her head out, “What’s up?”

“Can I borrow a couple of sheets of paper?”

“Wow…” Shen An laughed when she saw Jiang Yichen’s distressed state. “Call me Daddy.”

“Don’t mess around; I’m about to burst!” Jiang Yichen twisted uncomfortably.

Shen An whistled and repeated, “Call me Daddy.”

Jiang Yichen immediately turned and went to the dorm entrance, pulling Shen An’s suitcase out.

With fluidity, he entered the code “666” on the lock.

*Click.*

The suitcase popped open, and Jiang Yichen hurriedly pulled out a few sheets of toilet paper and dashed toward the bathroom.

“Jiang Yichen! You rascal!” Shen An yelled after him.

Damn it, he wondered why she had been putting the toilet paper in her suitcase these past few days, yet it still seemed to mysteriously diminish.

It turned out the other guys in the dorm knew his password!

“Sorry, Shen Jie, I’ll transfer you fifty cents later.”

“And I’m the one who first took them; Zhang Dapao has taken the most of your paper!”

From the bathroom, Jiang Yichen’s voice echoed.

Zhang Wei, who had been happily playing on his bed, suddenly sat up at Jiang Yichen’s words. “Lao Jiang, what the hell!”

Jiang Yichen felt seriously like he had eaten something bad.

But he couldn’t understand how it was that, despite all four of them eating the same Cao’s meal, he was the only one affected.

In just one short afternoon, he had rushed to the bathroom no less than ten times.

Zhang Wei and the others had already left the dorm to attend their classes with their respective professional teachers.

Jiang Yichen sat helplessly at his computer desk.

Looking at the time, it was 1:50 PM.

After squatting the whole afternoon, his legs were numb.

Thinking about it, Jiang Yichen picked up his phone and dialed Qin Ling’s WeChat.

He tried calling twice but got no response.

Just as he was about to call again, he suddenly felt another wave of nausea.

This time, it wasn’t from below but from above.

He barely made it to the bathroom when he couldn’t hold back and heaved, throwing up everything he had eaten at Cao’s.

After he finished, Jiang Yichen’s face turned pale as he walked to the balcony to rinse his mouth several times. Then he went back to the bathroom to wash the mop, preparing to clean up the mess he had made in the room.

This meal from Cao’s had really made him sick—a serious case of both ends!

He vowed never to eat there again!
