Delayed Affection is Cheaper than Grass; Why Cry When I Depart? Chapter 26.2

The price of bicycles could be pushed down to 330 yuan each. Xu Mo had already arranged with Phoenix Bicycle to acquire them. Now, he only needed to pay a deposit, and they would start production.

With money in hand, Xu Mo naturally didn’t hesitate. After taking out the money, he paid a deposit of 150,000 yuan and ordered one thousand bicycles.

Now, all that was left was to wait for the college entrance examination to end, then he could start distributing them. Most of the work was already prepared.

The three days of the college entrance examination passed quickly. When it was over, cheers erupted as everyone celebrated their liberation.

The class organized a gathering, and everyone went back to attend. Xu Mo went over and hugged their homeroom teacher, Lin Chuyu.

“I think I did pretty well. Most of the questions were manageable,” Xu Mo said with a smile.

Lin Chuyu felt relieved to hear this. “That’s great! As long as you did well. By the way, the people who came a few days ago were from your sister’s family, right?”

Xu Mo’s expression froze for a moment.

“As long as nothing bad happened. If you encounter any problems, you can always talk to me! Even if you have already graduated, you’re still my student,” Lin Chuyu said with a smile.

Xu Mo also smiled. “Thank you, Teacher Lin! But everything’s fine. They’re not my family. My family is long gone!”

Upon hearing Xu Mo’s response, Lin Chuyu sighed inwardly but refrained from prying into others’ family matters. Now all they could do was wait for the results.

It was expected that the results would be out in about fifteen days. Xu Mo decided to relax for two days with Tang Lei and the others before pushing forward with the shared bicycle project.

The four of them went to the beach together for a trip, spending a total of two days there, enjoying a mini-vacation by the seaside.

After the fun, they quickly returned to No. 27 High School to start working.

“We still need to continue stress testing the app. Otherwise, there’s a risk of it crashing if the number of users increases suddenly,” Xu Mo reminded.

” Phoenix Bicycle is expected to provide the first batch of bicycles within seven days. By then, we’ll move them to the warehouse together!”

“I’ve already bought a small truck and hired a driver. We’ll need to go and place the bicycles ourselves later!”

“By the way, it’s best for us to learn how to drive during the summer vacation, or else it will be troublesome for our future trips!”

“Alright!”

Xu Mo had already arranged most of the things, and now they just needed to proceed step by step.

To ensure better performance, Xu Mo allocated five percent of the shares plus a monthly salary of 6000 to each of them, motivating everyone to work together and expand the business.

With the addition of the three new members, the subsequent work progressed rapidly. The preliminary preparations for the launch were quickly arranged, awaiting only the arrival of the bicycles.

The bicycles didn’t take much longer either. Within just seven or eight days, they were delivered, all painted yellow, adorned with the company logo, and equipped with smart locks for positioning.

With the bicycles in place, the four of them went together to inspect them.

For Tang Lei and the others, who had never seen shared bicycles before, they found the concept quite novel and intriguing.

“The yellow color looks great, very eye-catching. Placing them on the streets, they’ll be noticed right away!” Gu Huanxi praised, feeling that this project seemed poised for success.

“I’m worried about bike theft. These bicycles are quite nice, costing over three hundred each. If they get stolen, we’ll be at a big loss!” Tang Lei expressed his concern.

“No need to worry. People in Xiahai City haven’t sunk that low yet! Let’s inspect each bike for any issues. If there are any problems, we’ll return them; if not, we’ll start storing them!”

“Alright!”

With cheers, everyone got busy.

During the three days of the college entrance examination, Xu Wanting didn’t see Xu Mo at all.

She waited at the gate of No. 6 High School for three days, hoping to see him, but Xu Mo seemed to have left through the back gate.

He clearly knew they were at the front gate, so he didn’t come to meet them.

Upon learning this, Xu Wanting couldn’t help but feel heartbroken!

Xu Junzhe did quite well on the exam.

After finishing the test, he reviewed it at home, and it was said that he solved every question, boosting his confidence.

Xie Bingyan and Xu Deming were also extremely happy upon hearing the news, feeling a sense of relief and accomplishment.

In their happiness, they seemed to have forgotten to inquire about Xu Mo’s results!

These days, Xie Bingyan had been boasting about Xu Junzhe’s performance to relatives and friends, saying that he might become the top scorer in  science category  in Xiahai City!

She was incredibly proud!
