Chapter 1: It’s Her?
City A, late at night. A standalone villa in the west side of the city.
The doorbell rang. Shi Yuan stood outside, supporting a girl whose face was obscured.
The door opened, revealing a man under the luxurious lighting, his expression cold and unreadable.
A flicker of terror crossed Shi Yuan’s face. Who would’ve thought that this handsome young man—only 28 years old—was already the head of City A’s most powerful financial empire?
A name that made the industry tremble.
“President Lu, this is my daughter. Could I use her… in exchange for one chance from you?”
It had taken Lu Beiyan less than a month to destroy his company. Whether it lived or died now depended entirely on this man’s word.
Shi Yuan had no choice left—he bet everything on his daughter.
Lu Beiyan didn’t even glance at them, his face filled with disdain.
“President Shi, you’ve really gone to great lengths. But I never go back on a decision. Please leave.”
Shi Yuan hesitated. He had heard rumors that Lu Beiyan had no interest in women, that he had never been seen with one.
He assumed it was just a carefully crafted persona.
After all, what man in his prime wasn’t full of desire?
Just then, the girl stirred in his arms, visibly uncomfortable.
“Dad… why does the milk tea… make me feel so weird?”
She turned her head uneasily, and her delicate features were finally revealed.
Lu Beiyan’s pupils shrank. It’s her!
Seeing the subtle change in Lu Beiyan’s eyes, Shi Yuan perked up, his voice eager and pleading:
“President Lu, look—don’t you think my daughter could stay?”
His daughter was breathtakingly beautiful. Fearing she might resist if awake and ruin the opportunity, he had even secretly drugged her milk tea.
Now the drug was taking effect, her pale face flushed red, her entire being radiating an intoxicating allure—like a freshly peeled egg, her skin smooth and glistening.
Lu Beiyan said, “You may leave. She stays.”
Shi Yuan’s eyes lit up. He handed over his daughter eagerly.
After searching the country for years, he had finally brought her to the right doorstep.
Lu Beiyan carried her upstairs, gently placing her on the bed.
The girl was dazed, her mind clouded. She let out a soft whimper:
“Mmm~”
That soft, sweet sound—it was almost too much.
The faint scent of milk lingered in the air.
And he slowly, irreversibly, sank into it…
The Next Morning.
When Shi Ran woke up, her body felt like it had been run over by a truck—sore and aching everywhere.
She opened her eyes to an unfamiliar, cold room decorated in stark black and white. Her heart skipped a beat.
With trembling hands, she pulled back the dark blue silk blanket—and froze at what she saw. Her mind went blank.
Suddenly, the bathroom door opened. A man stepped out, drying his hair with a towel, wearing nothing else.
That face—Shi Ran could never forget it.
It was him…
She felt a wave of humiliation and fury.
Tears welled up uncontrollably and slid down her cheeks. She grabbed a pillow and threw it at him, glaring with rage:
“I’m going to sue you!”
What Shi Ran didn’t realize was that her teary, helpless look only made Lu Beiyan’s eyes darken with hunger.
The intensity of his gaze made her tremble even more. A chill crept up from her toes to her heart.
She had gone abroad to escape this man, to study at a university far away. And yet, the moment she returned to the country—she woke up in his bed.
She’d once been close friends with a classmate named Zhong Ling.
Zhong Ling’s family was struggling, and she worked countless part-time jobs.
One day, desperate for quick cash, Zhong Ling applied to work at the largest entertainment venue in Jiang City. She was too scared to go alone and begged Shi Ran to accompany her.
That day, Shi Ran wore a black uniform, pushing a cart from one VIP room to another in the Jiang Entertainment Club, dizzy from all the running around.
When she reached Room 808, she collided with a girl running out in tears, her clothes disheveled, looking utterly humiliated.
Shi Ran panicked a little. The people who came here were all paying for pleasure. Anything could happen.
She knocked on the door and politely said, “Excuse me, your wine has arrived.”
There was no response. She knocked again.
“May I come in?”
Suddenly, the door opened. The pungent scent of alcohol and smoke rushed out.
She pushed in the cart and carefully began taking out bottles of wine.
Not daring to look up, she didn’t notice the way the group of men inside were eyeing her—how their expressions shifted from surprise to excitement, to something much darker.
No one had expected a waitress to look this divine. Innocent and seductive all at once.
When she was done arranging the bottles and turned to leave, the door shut behind her.
A middle-aged man leaned against it, grinning lecherously.
Shi Ran’s heart raced in fear. Suddenly, she was grabbed from behind, the stench of alcohol thick around her.
A man caressed her cheek, his voice low and mocking:
“Well now, where did this tender little thing come from? Your skin… just like a freshly peeled egg. So soft. Come on, let big brother show you some love…”
The others in the room stared at her like wolves.
“What a rare beauty. Brother Dong, should we all have a go, or do you want her first?”
Shi Ran was terrified, feeling filthy just from their touch. She struggled, screaming:
“Help! Somebody, help me!”
Brother Dong snorted and grabbed her jaw, raising an eyebrow:
“Don’t waste your breath, sweetheart. No one dares barge in here. Save your energy—scream later, I like it when you scream.”
Shi Ran suddenly thought of that girl who had run out crying earlier. Had she been…?
She forced herself to speak, though her voice trembled:
“Please… I’m just here working a part-time job. Please let me go…”
But her pleading only excited them further. The man’s eyes lit up with lust.
“Don’t be scared, baby. Big brother will treat you real nice.”
Shi Ran was panicking. His hands were already on her shirt.
She suddenly bit down hard on his hand. The man cried out, and let her go.
Shi Ran shoved past the man at the door, yanked it open, and bolted.
She saw light.
Just then, her hair was yanked back from behind.
A furious voice shouted after her:
“You filthy whore! You dare run? I’ll ****ing ruin you tonight!”
