Chapter 16: The Initiative
A clear bar.
Bai Qi and several others sat in a minimalist private room, each with an untouched cup of milk tea in front of them.
“Brother Qi? Drinking milk today?”
Soothing music filled the room, yet the four young men were ill at ease, each sitting beside a woman.
“Turn off the music, put on some DJ!”
“Brother Qi, there’s no DJ, only some instrumental music.”
“…”
They stared at each other, huddled on the warm-colored sofa playing with their phones. After a while, the door opened, and Lu Beiyan pulled Shi Ran in.
Seeing them again, Shi Ran’s face was a little strained, though she tried hard to control it.
At the villa, Lu Beiyan insisted on bringing her, saying he had to bring a plus-one.
Although he often indulged Shi Ran, once he decided on something, it was difficult for her to change his mind.
“Master Yan, you’re here! Wake up, hey, wake up!”
Chen Lu kicked the other three guys a few times; they had actually fallen asleep while playing on their phones.
At this time, Chen Yu came in carrying a crate of alcohol, shouting, “Here’s the booze!”
The men instantly became excited. Bai Qi directly picked up a bottle and slammed it on the table, producing a crisp sound.
“Master Yan, you made us wait so long, is finishing this bottle too much to ask?”
Lu Beiyan held Shi Ran’s arm, took a shawl from the sofa and draped it over her, leaned in, his eyes soft, “How is it? Is this place alright?”
Bai Qi: “…”
“Bro, I’m talking to you!”
Lu Beiyan glared at him, instantly silencing him.
The private room of the clear bar was decorated in an artistic style, the walls covered in white and pink stickers, with several art photos hanging.
The scent was a faint, clean fragrance, the music soothing.
Looking around, Shi Ran’s gaze finally landed on the crate of alcohol, containing red, white, and beer.
“If that crate wasn’t there, I would like it better.”
Hearing this, Bai Qi laughed, making a face, “Impossible! That’s the only fun we brothers have here. Without it, what’s the point? Seriously drinking milk? We’d rather drink…”
He then touched the cheek of the woman beside him, and the other men laughed.
Lu Beiyan took the bottle from the table. The men’s eyes lit up, waiting for him to drink it down and liven up the atmosphere.
Instead, he tossed the bottle into the crate, opened the private room door, and slid the crate out with his foot, right past a passing waiter.
“Consider it a gift.”
With that, he closed the door.
Bai Qi and the others finally understood. Their boss was head over heels for this woman. He wasn’t keeping a woman; he was keeping an ancestor.
Brothers are like hands and feet, women are like clothes.
Clearly, brothers are like clothes, and his woman is like hands and feet!
Clap, the sound of a straw entering a milk tea cup.
Lu Beiyan picked up the milk tea. “This one’s for everyone. Sorry I’m late.”
“Wait a second.” Chen Lu spoke up.
“Boss, drink this one.” He pointed to a small glass of milk tea beside him, originally intended for the woman next to him.
The other men watched with anticipation, knowing Chen Lu’s quirks, so they knew exactly what was in it.
This guy, making Master Yan drink that. But he was probably joking.
Who knew Lu Beiyan would actually pick up the small glass of milk tea.
He raised his hand, the small cup to his lips, and drank it in one gulp.
Except for the unsuspecting Shi Ran, everyone’s eyes widened.
The next second, Lu Beiyan clasped Shi Ran’s waist, leaned down, and kissed her lips.
The man cupped her chin, the fragrant milk tea lingering between their lips.
That mouthful of milk tea was slowly transferred to Shi Ran.
The cool liquid slid down her throat. Before Shi Ran could react, she swallowed the milk tea.
Bai Qi and the others applauded, “Master Yan, that’s a brilliant move!”
Shi Ran still didn’t know what was in the milk tea she drank, only feeling shy about being kissed in front of so many people.
Lu Beiyan smirked, stroking the girl’s rosy, glossy lips, and asked with satisfaction, “Was the milk tea good?”
Without waiting for an answer, he pulled her hand and sat down on an empty sofa nearby.
The men started talking about the company and stocks.
After ten minutes, Shi Ran felt a little breathless.
“Let’s go. Have fun.”
Bai Qi and the others understood perfectly, thoughtfully opening the door for them, smiling mischievously, “Master Yan, have fun.”
Outside the bar, the air was refreshing. She realized it wasn’t the weather that was hot, it was her.
It was the milk tea Lu Beiyan had passed to her.
She had fallen for milk tea again!
She never wanted to drink milk tea again in her life!
In the car, she grabbed Lu Beiyan’s impeccably tailored black shirt, punching his hard chest like cotton, her hand aching instead.
Overwhelmed with grievance, she whimpered, “You bastard. What did you give me to drink? Bastard.”
He leaned down, close to her, his voice seductive, “Ranran.”
He then ruffled her hair.
Lu Beiyan had a triumphant smile on his face. He tucked the girl’s stray hair behind her full ear, looking like a perfect gentleman.
Trying to cover it up.
As soon as they reached the villa, Lu Beiyan carried her upstairs.
They entered the room, and click, the light switch turned on, bright as day.
Shi Ran narrowed her eyes, instantly being pressed against the door by Lu Beiyan.
Lu Beiyan smirked, using force, nibbling, biting, as if he wanted to devour her.
“Mmm~” A smile reached his eyes, seemingly enjoying the girl’s rare initiative.
His lips lightly touched the girl’s lips, his voice laced with breaths, “Ranran…”
“Ranran…”
Having to find ways every day to sleep with the woman he’s supporting, probably only he, in the whole world, is such a frustrated sugar daddy.
The girl’s eyes were open, her eyes captivating, with shimmering tears welling up.
“Bastard,” Shi Ran still whimpered.
