Chen Chacha drove to the restaurant by herself, but Chen Yingge still sent her back in his car.
She wasn’t living in the Chen family’s house but in an apartment in the city center.
The same goes for Chen Yingge. He’s staying in a gated community very close to the company, which was convenient for work.
The Chen family members were basically away from home all year round and only goes back for dinner a handful of times each year.
There were only two retired elderly people left at home, which were their grandparents.
It’s not that Chen Chacha didn’t want to go back, it’s just that neither of their grandparents likes her and she’s afraid of the two old people, so she moved out.
Chen Yingge was also aware of it, but he didn’t know why their grandparents dislike his sister so much.
Although she wasn’t very smart, occasionally likes to play some silly petty tricks, has no ambition and was quite narrow-minded, but she could be considered harmless to humans and animals. Even an ordinary person could raise a flower as it doesn’t take much effort.
He doesn’t get it, but he didn’t interfere too much in the matter between his grandparents and his sister. No matter how much they dislike his sister, the most their grandparents would do was to make a few sarcastic remarks, which did no actual harm.
As for his parents who were away from home all year round, they actually have a clear understanding of the family affairs, but they had the same attitude as Chen Yingge and didn’t interfere in anything.
In their view, this was a matter between their parents and their youngest daughter. They could say a few words to help their daughter when she was a child, but since she was now an adult, she needed to learn to resolve her own affairs.
When Chen Chacha returned to her apartment, she immediately grabbed the pillows in the living room and threw them on the floor. She roared angrily a few times and felt a bit foolish doing so, making her calm down on the surface.
Her mind was in turmoil.
The thought of her true identity coming to light made her chest quiver with fear.
She didn’t want to lose everything in front of her. The people that always fawn and flatter her whenever she went out, the super wealthy family that although cold, grants whatever she requested, and the smooth sailing life she had now was all based on the identity she had stolen.
If she was exposed, she would lose everything, fall into the abyss, and become the kind of loser she particularly despises.
That was a future she was absolutely unwilling to face. No matter what she had to do……
Yes, no matter what she had to do, she had to prevent Chen Cha from remembering the past.
She had been part of the Chen family for more than a decade, but she wasn’t usually close to them and rarely sees them every year since she was a child.
She knew that if Chen Pengfei and Cheng Yufei knew that the child they’ve raised wasn’t their own and that their biological child was someone else, they wouldn’t hesitate to take everything away from her, while Chen Yingge, who usually indulged her, would stand by and watch.
This family has traits that most people don’t have—— they were particularly cold and firm.
The more Chen Chacha thought about this, the more hideous her expression became, and in the end, she showed a ferocious smile. As long as ‘Chen Cha’ died, the truth would never surface again.
Chen Chacha went to get the mobile phone she’s specifically using to communicate with Wei Siyun and called her.
But after trying several times, she still couldn’t get through.
“F*ck your mother!” Chen Chacha couldn’t help but swear.
Then she suddenly remembered that cursing Wei Siyun’s mother was cursing her own grandmother. She felt disgusted and it made her even more frustrated.
Half an hour later, during which Chen Chacha went to wash up and take a shower without managing to calm down, Wei Siyun finally called back.
As soon as Chen Chacha answered the phone, she immediately said in anger, “Why did it take you so long to call back? Didn’t I tell you to immediately fkn answer my call no matter what time it is?! Have you lost your mind?”
Wei Siyun: “……”
She was startled by the angry scolding.
After Chen Chacha finished her tirade, she felt relieved and her tone became much calmer. She said, “Forget it, don’t do it again next time. By the way, I have something very important I needed you to do.”
“Huh? What is it again?” Wei Siyun’s voice immediately turned loud, “Do you know how I was cursed at by people last time you asked me to discredit Chen Cha? You said that nothing would happen, but the result? Our whole family has been doxxed. Every day we wake up, we would see rotten eggs at the door. Do you know that I was almost scolded by your father to death?”
“Shut up!” Chen Chacha roared, “Chen Guosheng isn’t my father. If you say that again, I’ll make you regret it.”
“Hehehe, no matter what……” Wei Siyun still held back from saying, ‘blood ties are absolutely unchangeable’ and continued with, “Anyway, you screwed me over.”
Chen Chacha sneered. “If it weren’t for money, would you help me? If this matter is solved, I will give you ten million.”
“T-ten million?” Wei Siyun swallowed hard. “Seriously?”
“When have I not honored our agreement?” Chen Chacha said coldly.
“I’ll…… think about it…… Um…… Tell me what it is first.” Wei Siyun talked a bit incoherently.
“Go find someone to run over Chen Cha. Make it appear like an accidental death and don’t let the police suspect us. Money isn’t a problem.”
As soon as Chen Chacha finished speaking, Wei Siyun yelled, “What?! Are you crazy?! If we’re caught killing people, we will really die. No, no, no, it’s worse than death. We will go to jail!”
They were used to living good, being praised, being flattered and living in a luxurious mansion for almost all of their lives. Losing it was worse than death to them.
If they lose those things, they would be better off dead.
Chen Chacha didn’t argue with her and just said, “15 million.”
“I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t…… I really can’t……”
Chen Chacha increased the price again, “20 million.”
Wei Siyun asked, “……Why do you insist on killing Chen Cha? ……Isn’t it enough to just ruin her career?”
Chen Chacha still continued, “25 million. If you don’t want it, I’ll find someone else. I never lack lackeys.”
Wei Siyun: “……”
Because of the huge sum of money, Wei Siyun didn’t care about being called a lackey by her own daughter. She made a tough decision and said, “30 million, I’ll do it for 30 million.”
“Hmph, you’re really greedy. Fine, I’ll give you 30 million. You’ll receive it once you did a good job.” 30 million wouldn’t make Chen Chacha distressed. It wasn’t even as much as she earn from filming dramas.

3:30 pm the next day.
While Chacha was reading documents, she received a call from an unfamiliar number and Wei Siyun’s voice came from the other end.
“It’s your mother.”
Chacha: “……” If the voice hadn’t sounded familiar, she would have thought the other person was cursing her.
“Don’t hang up, I have something serious to tell you.”
Chacha guessed that this was the lead-up to the fake Chen Chacha going after her.
As an impostor, she must definitely be feeling afraid that her true identity might be exposed.
Ordinary people feeling guilty conscience would probably lock themselves up in a room and huddle under the covers while waiting in trepidation for everything to pass, leaving everything to the passage of time.
But people like the fake Chen Chacha, who harm others every day and had been worry-free since young, when encountering this kind of situation, they might feel guilty and afraid, but their reaction would also be intense. They would definitely find ways to get rid of those who were a threat to them.
That was what Chacha was waiting for. The more the fake does, the more mistakes she would make, and the easier it was to get leverage on her.
Chacha didn’t hang up, her voice soft, “Why are you still looking for me?”
“……” Wei Siyun was silent. This Chen Cha really gives her a peace of mind. She just talked with her like this and she’s easily fooled.
“There’s something I need to tell you. You’ll regret it if you don’t come!” Wei Siyun said harshly.
“……” Chacha was speechless. She then prompted, “What is it about? Where do you want me to meet you?”
Wei Siyun gave an address and added, “Come over at twelve tomorrow night. If you don’t come over, see what will happen.”
Chacha didn’t think the other party had anything on her, yet still showed weakness. “What exactly do you have in your hands……? I have never done anything to wrong anyone……”
Wei Siyun thought to herself, What thing can there be? There’s none, I’m just bluffing.
But the fact that Chen Cha was deceived so easily made her feel a lot more confident and in a better mood. She said, “Hmph, there’s no way I’m telling you before I see you!”
“Alright, I’ll go meet with you tomorrow night at twelve. Actually, you just need to say you want to see me, there’s no need to lie or threaten me. You’re my mother after all, so of course I will go see you……”
“……” Wei Siyun couldn’t understand Chen Cha. She was fine before, but why was she being so disgusting now?
Why? Because Chacha was recording their conversation, so of course she needed to act a bit like a white lotus.
After hanging up the phone, Chacha called Jiao Yushi to borrow a few people again. After that, she continued to concentrate on her work and throw Wei Siyun on the back of her mind.

The agreed place was at a crossroads, which wasn’t very busy. At 12 am, the number of people on the street was already a bit sparse and many shops had already closed.
Coupled with the cold weather, the place seemed even more deserted.
At 12 am sharp, Wei Siyun didn’t show up. Chacha stood there waiting for a long time, her long hair and scarf covering the earphones in her ears.
A man’s voice came from the device, “There’s nothing wrong with the neighbourhood, but there’s a drunkard walking towards you from the opposite street.”
Chacha hummed softly, her eyes scanning the surrounding.
The drunkard waddled over to Chacha’s side and tried to pounce on her. Chacha had poor acting skills but she still tried her best to pretend to be panicked. With a cry of surprise, she backed away to the side.
The drunkard cursed profusely and approached Chacha, muttering, “B*tch, are you looking down on me? See what I’ll do if I catch you.”
Chacha kept backing away and a man’s voice came from the earphones once again, “There’s a car parked about five hundred meters away and the person inside has been observing you. The drunkard must be with him. He’s trying to lead you onto the road and ran you over. Then the situation can only be regarded as an accident, not maliciously killing someone.”
“Heh.” Chacha chuckled.
The drunkard was stunned for a moment.
Chacha’s expression returned to a panicked one as she shouted, “Why are you stalking me? I’m not looking down on you! Get away from me!”
“Hehehehe~” The drunkard immediately got into the act. Chen Cha’s smile just now must be his misconception. He said, “B*tch, you’re still lying. I won’t live until I beat you up to death today.”
Chacha ran towards the road in ‘panic’.
When the person inside the parked car saw it, he immediately started the engine, accelerated, and rushed towards Chen Cha.
Chacha was very calm. While looking at the drunkard who seemed to be coming over yet pretending that he couldn’t walk properly, she used her peripheral vision to observe the distance between the car and herself.
If a normal person were to encounter such a situation, their mind would go blank and they would be too scared to the point they would be unable to run.
People couldn’t be blamed for being timid. It’s natural to be afraid when one’s life was in danger.
