Chacha and Lu Caiwei were tired from shopping and planned to eat some snacks.
“Chestnut cake is my favorite.” Lu Caiwei said, “I just can’t get enough of it.”
“I like it quite a bit too.” Chacha nodded in agreement. “As well as matcha flavored ones.”
“Do you not easily get fat?” Lu Caiwei asked.
Chacha nodded and was just about to speak when the elevator door opened.
There were three people standing inside, two of whom Chacha knew, Chen Yingge and Chen Chacha. The third one was a woman in her thirties, wearing a white sweater. She looks gentle and quiet, with an elegant and dignified temperament. At first glance, she appeared like a well-educated person that hasn’t experienced any hardships, yet still gave off a capable feeling.
Chen Chacha and the woman looked very relaxed with nothing in their hands. Only Chen Yingge was carrying large and small bags. It seemed that he’s the errand guy responsible for carrying bags for this trip.
“Auntie, Brother Yingge, Cousin, what a coincidence.” Lu Caiwei took the initiative to greet the three people. After nodding and smiling to each other, Lu Caiwei introduced Chen Cha to them, “This is Cha— Chen Cha, a junior sister from school. She’s also a member of the opera club.”
“En, this girl is really pretty.” Cheng Yufei professionally complimented her, but Chen Cha just smiled modestly, with a kind of ‘I know you’re just complimenting me casually and I didn’t take it seriously, but I’m still happy’ expression on her face. She’s probably used to being praised and was already immune to it.
Chen Chacha said, “Mom, let’s go back quickly for lunch.”
Cheng Yufei gave her a somewhat speechless look, but still said, “We’re going first.”
“Hmm, bye.”
The three members of the Chen family went to the parking lot below. Chen Yingge was driving and Cheng Yufei was sitting beside him on the front while Chen Chacha sat alone in the back seat.
Cheng Yufei said thoughtfully, “That girl just now is pretty good. Yingge, what do you think?”
Chen Yingge was a little dumbfounded. “Mom, you just met her for the first time.”
Cheng Yufei said, “I was also as beautiful when I was young.”
Chen Chacha was afraid that Cheng Yufei would say something like, ‘That child just now looks exactly like me when I was young’, so she quickly said out loud, “Mom, you must be more beautiful. You’re the most beautiful person in the world.”
Cheng Yufei gave a reserved smile. “You and your sweet mouth.”
“Chen Cha is indeed pretty good. She’s smart, capable, and has a good character.” Chen Yingge glanced at Chen Chacha from the rearview mirror and said, “Chacha, it won’t hurt to socialize more with Chen Cha. You’re in showbiz and Chen Cha has an entertainment company. Although she has a competitive relationship with your company, you won’t lose out by befriending her.”
Because Chen Chacha was hiding something, she was almost short of breath as she furiously said, “You’re so annoying, don’t worry about me so much! If she’s so good, go and make friends with her yourself, why look for me? And I don’t need her. Who is she? She’s just a small internet celebrity, what qualifications does she have for me to please her?! She’s the one who should please me!”
Cheng Yufei was close to Chen Chacha and her ears hurt a little from all her yelling.
Moreover, Chen Chacha’s words caused Cheng Yufei headache.
She couldn’t remember how many times she told Chen Chacha not to be arrogant because of her status, don’t look down on others and don’t be too proud. Even if one was really arrogant, one still had to put on appearances to give others the feeling of a respectable person.
It’s a sign of refinement.
But it’s a pity that Chen Chacha nodded on the surface, yet secretly did whatever she wanted.
Cheng Yufei started her own career after graduating from college. She liked the feeling of having her own thing to do, so after giving birth to her children, she left them with the nanny. She didn’t go home very often, but would occasionally take her kids out to play.
Therefore, she would instill her thoughts into Chen Chacha whenever she had the opportunity. But she couldn’t watch over Chen Chacha all the time. Then one day when she turned around, she found that Chen Chacha had already become like this. Cheng Yufei actually felt quite helpless.
Chen Chacha was now at the age were her personality had already been set and couldn’t be changed.
She wasn’t particularly bad, but she wasn’t particularly good either. She wasn’t very smart and offends people easily.
But in this case, it actually didn’t matter. The Chen family has a big business, and it’s not like they couldn’t afford to support a little girl, and they could also cover some of her innocuous mistakes.
Even if it’s a bit bigger, they could still handle it.
Thus they let Chen Chacha live freely.
It’s just that sometimes Cheng Yufei’s head hurts from listening to her talk. Also, when she occasionally clean up her mess, Cheng Yufei couldn’t help but wonder what kind of brain would make such a mistake, and her head would hurt even more.
Fortunately, Chen Yingge didn’t disappoint them. Otherwise, if the two children were fools, the family fortune would probably be lost very quickly after their deaths.
Cheng Yufei still had many years to live yet she had already begun to worry about this problem.
Despite the fact that everything would come to nothing after her death and she didn’t spend much time with her family much, she still hoped that her children and grandchildren wouldn’t be trapped by life.
Chen Yingge who was suddenly yelled at: “……”
After realizing what happened, he really wanted to open a forum and ask a question online: What should I do if my sister is too stupid?
It was only after the three members of the Chen family returned that Cheng Yufei said as an afterthought, “Hey, Chen Cha and Chen Chacha, Chacha, your names are similar.”
What Chen Chacha couldn’t bear to hear the most coming out of the Chen family’s mouth was Chen Cha’s name. It was like dipping her heart back and forth inside a boiling pot.
She gave a dry laugh.
Cheng Yufei sensed something was wrong and asked, “Did something unpleasant happen to you?”
Chen Yingge came back after parking the car and came over to hear that. He asked, “Something unpleasant? Chacha, what upset you?”
Chen Chacha gave a hollow laugh. “Nothing. Let’s go in quickly, I’m so hungry. We haven’t eaten together for a long time.”
Cheng Yufei no longer talk about the topic, but felt that she should let her assistant pay attention to things between Chen Cha and Chen Chacha. Although her daughter was foolish, she’s still her daughter after all and couldn’t be bullied by outsiders.
If Chen Chacha knew that the more she evaded, the more Cheng Yufei would pay attention to this matter, she would probably give herself a hundred slaps.
The next day, her assistant replied to her, saying that Chen Cha and Chen Chacha had basically never met, had no intersection at all, and had no disputes of interest. There’s only one thing that connects the two, Chen Cha’s Weibo name was Chacha Loves Drinking Tea, and her followers all call her Chacha.
The name Chacha was the same as Chen Chacha’s. That was it.
Cheng Yufei: “……”
She felt that her daughter might really be unhappy with Chen Cha just because of the trivial matter as having the same name. She still remembered that there was a period where Chen Chacha acted coquettishly with her, asking for various customized things because she didn’t want to be the same as others.
The school she was attending at that time had a uniform, but instead of wearing it, she wore custom-made clothes every day. Cheng Yufei often received complaints from teachers.
In a fit of rage, Cheng Yufei confiscated all of Chen Chacha’s belongings, earning her a semester-long look of resentment from Chen Chacha.
Cheng Yufei felt a little cold thinking about it now. That resentment was real and had nothing to do with feeling aggrieved.
But after all, it was her own daughter. After she had a good chat with Chen Chacha, Chen Chacha seemed to realize that her gaze wasn’t right, and for a time, she kept walking with her head lowered.
Cheng Yufei originally thought that the matter was over, but later on, whenever something didn’t go her way, Chen Chacha would show that same resentful expression.
In Cheng Yufei’s opinion, Chen Chacha always cares about some things that weren’t there, and there was a big problem with Chen Chacha’s personality.
She tried managing it before, but when Chen Chacha was eighteen years old, she still hadn’t changed. Cheng Yufei felt that no matter what she said, it would be of no use, so she just didn’t bother anymore. The education she received was to manage her own affairs. An eighteen year old no longer needed to be disciplined.
After knowing that Chen Cha had nothing to do with Chen Chacha, Cheng Yufei became a little interested in Chen Cha. After learning more about the child, she was quite impressed.
At the age of nineteen, she’s studying at a top university in the country. Although she was mistreated by her parents when she’s little, she managed to survive on her own. She started a business, boldly invested all her money in an unknown movie and made a wide range of friends. She’s gentle, elegant, sensible and intelligent.
Almost any compliment could be applied to Chen Cha.
People could really be different from each other.
Chen Chacha, who was the same age, had everything since she was a child, yet……
Cheng Yufei’s head hurt just thinking about it, so she simply left the matter behind.

Chacha wanted to let Jiao Yushi know that she valued him very much, so after returning home, she found time to specially deliver the scarf to Jiao Yushi’s door.
Jiao Yushi didn’t react at first. After taking out the scarf and looking at it, he asked, “Do you need my help for something again?”
“……” Chacha was silent for a moment.
Did she look like the kind of person who gives gifts just to ask for favors?
Regardless of others, she always speaks directly to Jiao Yushi and doesn’t beat around the bush.
Chacha suddenly felt that she had indeed gone a little— a tiny bit much in the past and had always treated him as a tool.
Feeling ashamed, Chacha showed a gentle smile and said, “Isn’t it cold today? When I went to the mall, I saw it and bought one for you. Remember to keep warm and don’t catch a cold.”
Jiao Yushi: “……” He felt a little chilly.
Chacha saw that he wasn’t used to her being so warm, and felt more and more that she had been too cold and unfeeling before.
She reached out and patted him on the shoulder. “The gift has been successfully delivered to you, so I’ll be on my way.”
“Mm……” Jiao Yushi was still a little suspicious, thinking that she was retreating in order to advance.
However, Chacha simply left.
Jiao Yushi looked at the closed door and then silently put the scarf away. It just so happen that he’s planning on buying a new scarf recently.
What a coincidence.

The days after that were as usual, filled with documents, meetings and dinner parties.
Cheng Yufei had just forgotten about Chen Cha when she saw familiar words on the document.
Qingcha Culture & Media Company
If she remembered correctly, this company was owned by Chen Cha. The various marketing accounts in this company make all kinds of merchandise and sell them in a Taobao store. This time they plan to make clothing merchs and incorporate them in shopping malls.
The shopping mall they planned to enter was owned by Cheng Yufei.
Cheng Yufei didn’t need to care about this matter and just need to sign, but Chen Cha really caught her eye. At present, Chen Cha wasn’t particularly rich, but achieving all this at her age, it was enough for her to brag about.
But even with such achievements, she showed no pride and continued to work hard day after day, humble and courteous.
The girl got a very stable mind.
Cheng Yufei felt that in time, Chen Cha would definitely become even more extraordinary. Besides, she quite likes the girl. Therefore, she planned to help her out so that they could still work together in the future.
Mentoring a valued junior and letting them owe her a favor was also beneficial to her. With the current Chen Cha, this was the best time to support her.
Therefore, Cheng Yufei told her assistant to contact Chen Cha and ask her out for dinner.

When Chacha was about to go to dinner, Ding Puyu knocked on the door and came in. “President Xiao Cha, the owner of Yisha Mall said she wants to have dinner with you, should I tell them you agree?”
The owner of Yisha Mall was Cheng Yufei. It was the largest business under the other party’s name but there were other miscellaneous ones as well.
Chacha didn’t expect that Cheng Yufei would ask her to have dinner. Although she didn’t know the reason behind it, there was no need to refuse. She nodded and said, “En, say I agree.”
“Okay.” Ding Puyu went out.
After a while, he came back and told Chacha the time and location of the appointment. It was set an hour later, at Isabel Restaurant.
Isabel Restaurant was located inside Yisha Mall.
Chacha went to her appointment on time, but Cheng Yufei still arrived earlier than her. Cheng Yufei had no objection with it and Chacha only politely apologized.
They talked about school, Chacha’s future plans for development, and things like her requirements for choosing a spouse.
Chacha was polite throughout the whole conversation. Although the two were about twenty years apart in age, they had no problem chatting and were very jovial.
