Huo Yishen was amused into laughter by Jiang Ning. “Well, it’s all yours.” 
 

Unexpectedly, she also had such a cute and straightforward side, just like a child seeing her favorite candy. 

Jiang Ning entered the container and found that the off-road vehicles were all brand new, with the protective film still on the exterior. They must have just arrived and hadn’t had time to be modified yet. 

It was originally a top-notch off-road vehicle, and the factory configuration was almost perfect. The modifications were a waste of money. It was just a gimmick for the second generation. They make the engines roar so loudly that even half the city could hear them. 

Now, they were just right. 

Huo Yishen carefully inspected the vehicles and found them to be intact from the outside. 

In addition to the vehicles’ good performance, the sealed containers were the main reason they could be preserved in floods and extreme cold. 

Truly… thanks to the gift from heaven. 

The container was like a mystery box, and the first one was a bombshell. Jiang Ning was looking forward to the next one. 

The two of them opened it again, but there were no luxury cars or treasures, just a large box filled with car parts. 

The opening action was a bit too vigorous; if they hadn’t dodged quickly, they would have been hit by the falling tire and died on the spot! 

The tire packaging was intact, and from the instructions, they were from the famous brand. 

Yes, it was the brand that once installed tires on the American lunar rover. 

Indeed, it’s tires that have been to the moon. 

Among the contents of the container were not only tires but also engines, seals, belts, interiors, seats, exterior parts, clutches, brakes, shock absorbers, and other large components. 

Huo Yishen followed suit, smiling at Jiang Ning, “This box belongs to me.” 

Jiang Ning was ecstatic. “Yeah, yeah, yeah!” 

He reminded her, “Just having the cars isn’t enough; we need to find the keys.” 

So, the two of them returned to the club and began searching through the modification and customer service departments. 

Since they were luxury cars, it was impossible for the keys to be casually hung on the wall. They weren’t in the cabinets either, so they brought the service department’s safe into the space. 

After prying it open, there were indeed more than a dozen car keys inside, but none of them matched. 

Jiang Ning was puzzled. Where could the car keys be? Could they have been worn as necklaces by the second generation? 

In doubt, her gaze inadvertently fell on the other two safes in the living room. 

These were found in the second-generation study! 

So, they decisively pried them open. 

Sure enough, the keys were inside! 

They were still brand new and unopened, packed in sealed bags. 

In addition to the car keys, there were also many account books. 

Although the safe was waterproof, it had been soaked for too long, so the inside was still damp, causing the ink in the account books to spread, making it almost impossible to read the contents. 

Jiang Ning took out the car keys, blew them with a hairdryer, and pressed them against the off-road vehicles. 

Ring! 

There is nothing wrong with all three cars, and they all belong to her. 

After spending too much time in space, time flowed away rapidly. Jiang Ning felt extremely distressed. Was it easy for her to save time? It was much harder than saving money. She quickly waved to Huo Yishen, “Quick, let’s go!” 

It was another day of coming home late. After taking a shower, she collapsed on the sofa. 

Huo Yishen sat next to her, offering his shoulder for her to lean on. 

Though her body felt drained, the feeling of getting something for nothing from this zero-cost purchase exhilarated Jiang Ning. Unconsciously, she became addicted. “Are we going out tomorrow?” 

“Tomorrow, we’ll go to the gas station.” 

With three more off-road vehicles, all gas-guzzling beasts. They had to act as soon as possible. If they delayed, they wouldn’t even have soup to drink. 

Jiang Ning was full of energy. “Great, tomorrow we’ll sweep the gas station.” 

With their target set and alarms set, they went to bed contentedly. 

However, their ideals are grand, but reality is harsh. 

The two sneaked into the gas station, submerged in water under the cover of darkness, but there was no fuel—not even a drop! 

It was completely emptied out professionally and thoroughly. 

Neither of them was one to give up easily, so they searched for two more gas stations, but they were equally empty. 

Huo Yishen analyzed, “It should have been drained by municipal professionals.” 

When the water level drops, the municipality will lead the social recovery, and they have planned ahead to seize the important supplies. 

Since the municipality took action, there were probably no fish left in the net. 

Jiang Ning felt somewhat disappointed. “Should we go home now or collect other things?” 

Huo Yishen thought for a moment: “Let’s go to the highway service station.” 

The city’s fuel had been depleted, but the highway service stations were far from the city area, so they might not have been emptied yet. 

The highway service stations were quite a distance away, and from dawn to the blazing sun, it felt like they could almost cook with a bit of cumin. 

After driving for 100 kilometres and checking two service stations, they were all empty and completely drained. 

Unexpectedly, even the highway services had been compromised. There was no point in continuing to search. Besides, facing the 50-degree temperature, even with constant-temperature clothing and body protection, it was too much for the two of them, and they were sweating like fish in the water. 

After drinking two bottles of herbal tonic water, the two decided to give up the mission. 

Safety came first, and besides, they had over a tonne of gasoline between them, so they could just use it sparingly in the future. 

The motorboat turned around and roared past the water’s surface. 

Suddenly, Jiang Ning tapped Huo Yishen’s shoulder and said, “Stop!” 

The motorboat halted, and she pointed in the direction not far from the entrance of the service station and asked, “What’s that?” 

Huo Yishen looked over, and from the traces visible on the water’s surface, it seemed to be a large tanker truck. 

Such trucks were either used for oil transport or for carrying high-risk chemicals. 

Approaching in the motorboat, they circled around the tanker truck. 

As the water level dropped, only the tank was slightly exposed above the surface, making it difficult to judge what was inside. 

Huo Yishen put on his diving suit and jumped into the water to investigate. 

A few minutes later, he said, “Anning, it’s an oil tanker truck.” 

Jiang Ning was pleasantly surprised. She hadn’t expected it to be an oil tanker truck. 

If her guess was correct, the tanker truck was supposed to enter the service station. However, due to the typhoon arriving early, many large trucks on the road had sought refuge in the service stations, causing them to become congested, and many trucks had to wait outside in line. 

However, whether the tanker truck was there to deliver oil to the service station or was just passing through empty for refuge, it was hard to say. 

To find out if it was empty, they would have to open it. 

Huo Yishen took out the binoculars and made sure there were no people within visual range before letting Jiang Ning take action. 

The tanker truck was brought into the space, and water rushed in from all sides, causing the motorboat to shake violently for a few moments. 

Jiang Ning almost fell into the water, but Huo Yishen quickly pulled her back and said, “Be careful.” 

The water soon calmed down, and the motorboat entered the service station, taking advantage of the wall to enter the space. 

The tanker truck was huge, with a capacity of 28,000 liters. 

Huo Yishen opened the tank, and the pungent smell of gasoline wafted out. “It’s full.” 

Jiang Ning almost squealed with excitement. With 28,000 liters of gasoline, it was equivalent to about 20.6 tons, which is enough for a long time. 

They hadn’t expected that just by glancing at it a little longer on the water’s surface, they would gain an extra 20 tons of gasoline. 

Luck was truly on their side; they’re now unstoppable! 

However, luck couldn’t be with them all the time. If it hadn’t been for the typhoon arriving early and vehicles rushing into the station for refuge, the tanker truck wouldn’t have been stuck on the road. 

They didn’t continue searching, and, after a short rest, they drove the motorboat back home. 

Over the next two days, they went to the glass factory, door and window factory, and even made a trip to the agricultural machinery factory, but the smart equipment had already been ruined by the water.
