Chapter 95: Clearing Out the Two Floors of Gold and Jewelry

Such a capable person wouldn’t be troubled by a minor situation like this.

After comforting herself once more, Jiang Yuan began her solo expedition.

This time, her main target was the gold. But since she wasn’t familiar with the current situation, she had to explore floor by floor.

Alone, she was swift. She stored the inflatable kayak directly into her space without even deflating it—much more convenient for later.

The gold and jewelry shops were located on the 25th and 24th floors, mainly wholesale.

The prices were roughly in line with international gold prices, plus some labor charges. The first floor also had many well-known domestic brands, but the prices were relatively higher.

So, even though the upper floors weren’t fancy, they were always bustling with people.

Her space had plenty of boxes, perfect for storing everything.

When she reached the 25th floor, she was amazed to find everything was just as it had been.

Jiang Yuan had only been here once before—when she married Xia Chaoyang. They had just started their business and bought a home, so money was tight. They bought their wedding gold here.

She had been so thoughtful for him, only to realize later it was all one-sided—disgusting in hindsight.

Now, everything had changed.

The shops here were different from the glass counters inside regular malls—they didn’t lock everything away at night. Aside from extensive surveillance, security was also quite strict.

At the entrance to this floor was a security rest station, responsible for maintaining order during the day and standing watch at night.

So most of the shops were only simply locked, much to Jiang Yuan’s delight.

With her lock-picking skills, it was no problem.

She entered the security room—no people, but plenty of useful stuff.

In addition to the usual supplies, many merchants regularly gifted items to the security staff, hoping for extra attention to their shops.

Jiang Yuan searched around thoroughly.

On the table were a duty schedule, a sign-in sheet, and three pens.

It was set up like a small bar counter—enclosed in a circle. Not much underneath it—some security uniforms and water bottles, all personal belongings.

Finally, in the lowest cabinet, she found what she had dreamed of—electric batons. Five of them, with chargers included.

She had seen the security guards carry these before—reasonable, since they were guarding gold and jewelry.

There were also walkie-talkies, all functional—she packed everything up.

Pleased, she began looting the shops. There were around 30 stores on this floor—besides gold, they sold silver, jade, and pearls.

But gold was the main product.

She opened the first store’s door, took out her floodlight, and carefully checked every corner to ensure safety before she began gathering items.

This was a habit she picked up from Song Yi—cautious and thorough.

The first shop wasn’t large, but it had plenty of merchandise. She collected all the gold into wooden boxes.

Then she checked the cash register—over 30,000 yuan, roughly the value of one bracelet.

Most transactions were now digital—cash was rare. This was likely just not yet deposited.

Then the second store, the third… Jiang Yuan happily looted her way through.

When she reached “Liu’s Gold,” she paused—it was a famous online shop.

It used to be packed on holidays and weekends.

Now, it was all hers.

The shop was large—nearly 70 square meters—with multiple counters and a wide variety of styles. She was dazzled just looking at it.

No wonder it was so popular—it truly was beautiful. Even she, a gold enthusiast, was thrilled.

Her previous jewelry had been bought from brick-and-mortar stores—much more expensive than here.

She kept collecting, thoroughly enjoying herself. Eventually, she got tired.

So she decided to go all in—she stored the entire counters too.

The jewelry was arranged in trays—each tray held multiple pieces of the same type.

The trays could be stacked, so she could sort them later at home.

She gathered all the counters into one room, quickly filling it up.

Red trays filled with glittering gold jewelry—luxurious and festive.

Holding a stack of trays, Jiang Yuan felt overwhelming joy.

No matter what the store sold, she took everything in her path.

If she skipped one, she might not find it again later.

When she ran out of space under the counters, she stacked them on top.

After finishing the 25th floor, she moved to the 24th.

Still no one around—how lucky.

The upper floors were mostly clothing stores—mostly autumn wear, some summer styles, and clearance items.

Since she had storage space, she searched thoroughly—even taking the counters.

Lots of stuff—and quite a bit of cash too.

Busy and exhilarated, she kept going.

On the 28th floor was a massive children’s play center. Jiang Yuan looked around.

She decisively took two rocking rides—for her daughter to play with at home.

Some of the larger installations couldn’t be taken, so she grabbed a few building blocks, bouncing horses, and big balls.

Further up were leisure zones—juice bars, bubble tea shops, bakeries, cafés, and more.

Since she was already here, there was no way she was leaving empty-handed. She had plenty of houses and space now.

Even the decorative items weren’t spared. This floor also had two boutique stores and a ten-yuan shop.

They were full of odds and ends—girls could never resist this kind of store.

Pretty mugs, pen holders, tableware, basic stationery, arts and crafts—perfect for birthday gifts.

Daily items, plush toys, makeup—it was all delicate and lovely.

So Jiang Yuan didn’t hesitate—she stored the entire counters, planning to sort through them later.

That floor was a goldmine.

The last floor was the food court—she went straight to the kitchens.

If nothing else, the liquefied gas tanks were valuable. She hadn’t stocked many before.

Though her space had electricity, sometimes she needed open flames.

After all, food made with gas tasted better—since she found some, she stocked up.

She was sweating and hard at work when she suddenly heard soft, faint sounds—like they were coming from the stairwell.

Oh no—not good. Someone was coming.

She quickly turned off her big light. That floor had two entrances—the noise was coming from the opposite side.

In a few quick steps, she hid in the nearby stairwell.

Fortunately, she had started from one end, so she wasn’t far away.

Within a minute, a group of people came up, flashing their flashlights wildly in all directions.
