He Can Hear My Thoughts: A Tease Like Me, Loved by a 70s Soldier Chapter 10

Chapter 10

Song Si was only wearing a short-sleeved Dacron shirt—it fit snugly, showing off her fair arms, her full chest, and the beautiful curves of a woman.

Noticing Lu Yancheng’s gaze, she pulled the blanket up to cover herself.

That look in his eyes—it was like he wanted to devour her. She suddenly felt a little scared!

Lu Yancheng couldn’t tear his eyes away. His breathing was heavy as he fetched the essential oil he’d bought from the city earlier that day, walked over, placed it on the bedside table, then bent down and kissed her.

Compared to earlier, his kiss was far more practiced.

Song Si closed her eyes, her inner thoughts racing:

[It’s so heavy]
[Why am I a little scared?]
[So nervous!]

Lu Yancheng was eager, but he forced himself to be patient. He opened the essential oil with effort, used one hand to help her take off her pants, and gently applied it with his fingers.

Song Si trembled lightly.

Lu Yancheng said, “Don’t be afraid. I’ll be gentle.”

He carefully prepared her before slowly pressing in. Recalling the bold and wanton words she had spoken before, his hot lips bit her earlobe. “Am I your ‘lip balm guy’ now?”

Song Si didn’t reply, her thoughts drifting:

[No, not at all]
[So big… I’m scared. What do I do?]

Lu Yancheng said, “Weren’t you bold before? Now you’re scared?”

Her heart pounded like a drum.

Lu Yancheng was very satisfied with her reaction.

In a moment like this, her boldness seemed fitting—it made his blood boil. “Does this suit your kink?”

Song Si: “……”

[Yes, very much so]

Lu Yancheng didn’t want to mention Gu Chen—he hated that man. “Still thinking about other men in the future?”

Song Si: “……”

[No, not anymore]
[I only think of you]

Lu Yancheng could no longer hold back from her teasing. He bit her earlobe again.

The next second, a scream echoed from the single dormitory.

It was the weekend, and quite a few people were in the dorms. They couldn’t help stepping outside, looking in the direction of the noise.

Deputy Commander Zhang, who had received personal orders from the senior commander and had earlier instructed Commander Lu, also stepped out. He glanced over at Lu Yancheng’s dormitory. The curtains hadn’t even been drawn yet—it was obvious what had happened.

He dispersed the gathering crowd. “What are you looking at? Nothing to see here. Get back to what you were doing. If you’re so free, go run a few laps!”

Because Deputy Commander Zhang’s voice was loud, Song Si and Lu Yancheng heard everything.

They locked eyes, and silence spread between them.

Song Si’s face turned red as a tomato.

So embarrassing. Did everyone hear that?!

Lu Yancheng frowned, clearly uncomfortable, but still restrained himself and didn’t move.

After a while, Song Si gently poked his waist with her finger.

Only then did he ease up, though he still handled her with care.

An hour later, Song Si was drenched in sweat.

Lu Yancheng looked at her with guilt, kissed her forehead, his voice still hoarse. “I heard it won’t hurt as much next time. It’s always like this the first time.”

Song Si: “Mm.”

Lu Yancheng got up and dressed. “I’ll go to the mess hall to get some food. What do you want to eat?”

Song Si: “Anything is fine.”

Her gaze wandered across his body, catching sight of his abs—well-defined and solid. No wonder he felt so hard to the touch.

Lu Yancheng looked down, following her gaze, then looked back at her.

Song Si pulled the blanket tighter around herself.

Lu Yancheng glanced at the used essential oil, carefully tidied it up, washed in the bathroom, then left the dorm in his military green casual wear.

He rode his bicycle and soon reached the military district canteen.

It was mealtime, and the canteen was bustling.

Besides Lu Yancheng, most people eating here were fresh recruits also living in the single dorms. Those with families stayed in couples’ quarters and usually had separate meals.

“Good evening, Commander Lu!”

“I heard your wife came. Why haven’t we seen her yet?”

“No wonder you’re the commander—what a strong, iron-blooded physique!”

Some bolder new recruits came over, eager to gossip about their commander, eyes full of meaning.

“Commander, you can take my place in line, or your wife might go hungry.”

“Commander, they say your wife is a real beauty. We haven’t seen her yet!”

“Hey, Commander, did you hurt your neck?”

“Commander, when you get back, let your wife take care of that scratch.”

Someone had noticed the nail marks at Lu Yancheng’s collar and pointed them out on purpose.

Lu Yancheng looked at them with a stern face, naming them one by one. “After dinner, five laps. With weights.”

“Commander…”

“Ten laps.”

The named soldiers immediately shut their mouths, holding their trays and getting out of there.

No one dared to joke anymore, and Lu Yancheng finally got some peace. He quickly got the food and returned to the dorm. On the way, he ran into the senior commander’s aide, Xiao Liu, who was carrying several meal boxes.

“Commander Lu!”

Xiao Liu saluted him.

Lu Yancheng stopped his bicycle and returned the salute.

Xiao Liu said, “These dinners are from Commander Chen. Since I ran into you, I’ll hand them over now.”

Lu Yancheng: “Thank you. Please thank Commander Chen and Aunt Qin for me.”

Xiao Liu: “Will do.”

On his way earlier, Xiao Liu had overheard new recruits talking about Commander Lu—how he had been scratched by Comrade Song and how intense things must have been. Everyone was amazed at how brave their commander was.

Back at the senior commander’s residence, Xiao Liu reported what he had heard.

Commander Chen was very pleased.

Finally, those two are getting along!

As a leader, he had enough to worry about already!

He picked up the phone and immediately called his old friend Lu Yuanzheng, laughing as he spoke. “Old Lu, I’ve got good news.”

Lu Yuanzheng had just gotten off the phone with Song Dalong and was still in shock. “Perfect timing—I was about to call your boy Lu Yancheng. Have him come to the phone.”

Commander Chen: “Let’s put that aside for now. Old Lu, you just might have a fat grandson in your arms by next year. Aren’t you happy?”

Because the young couple’s relationship hadn’t been great, Lu Yuanzheng and his wife had worried a lot. But now, maybe they could finally relax?

However, Lu Yuanzheng couldn’t feel happy at all when he heard this. His heart sank with a thud.

Commander Chen didn’t hear anything for a long time. “Old Lu? Old Lu?”

Lu Yuanzheng came back to his senses. “They consummated the marriage?”

Commander Chen: “Yes! Isn’t that what you were hoping for? Why do you sound like the sky just fell?”

Lu Yuanzheng sighed heavily. “That was then. Things are different now. Something’s happened with the Song family.”

Commander Chen was confused. “What happened?”

Lu Yuanzheng was curious—his son and Song Si had always been distant. What made them suddenly take this step?

He asked for details.

Commander Chen explained what he knew.

Lu Yuanzheng’s tone turned grim. “This is going to be hard to clean up. I’d better go there in person.”

Commander Chen grew anxious. “Old Lu, what exactly is going on? Tell me clearly!”

Lu Yuanzheng said seriously, “My life-saving benefactors… are Song Si’s adoptive parents. They’ve already bought train tickets to go to Baiyang Village.”

Commander Chen, still holding the phone, was frozen for a moment even after the line went dead. He muttered to himself, “His life-saving benefactors are Song Si’s adoptive parents?”

He turned to his wife. “Old Qin, what does that mean?”

Qin Hua’s face instantly turned serious. “Could it be that… their biological daughter has come looking for them?”
