Wilderness Livestream Room [Interstellar]
Wilderness Livestream Room | Chapter: 17

[edited]

After choosing their own residence, the selected area on the sand table turns red. When the participants return to their residence, they will find a new wilderness guidance mission in the most conspicuous position of the residence.

For example, when Su Ge returned to her residence, the wilderness guidance mission she found was to safely pass the first night.

To complete this mission, two conditions must be met simultaneously: first, there must be a place to sleep, and second, there must be a bonfire.

These two tasks were not difficult for Su Ge.

First, for a place to sleep, she had two options. She could either climb up a tree and sleep there, but she wasn’t familiar with the night on this planet, afraid of freezing directly at night, or worried about nocturnal animal attacks, so she finally chose to make a small triangular hut with many branches and leaves.

Secondly, the bonfire was even simpler. She didn’t know what other contestants had in their supply packs, but she had a flint in hers. She found a pile of dry grass, struck the flint, added some dry branches, and starting a fire was easy.

Before it got dark, Su Ge’s task was completed. However, she considered it time-consuming to go back and forth to submit the task now, plus she was really hungry. So, she decided to submit the task after dawn the next day.

However, she never expected that before she could finish cutting the meat, Rong Shi and the other four would approach…

Sitting by the bonfire, Su Ge glanced at the five aliens who were sitting casually by the fire without any sense of courtesy.

Although they were sitting together as a group, Su Ge noticed something particularly interesting. She sat on one side, with Rong Shi on her right, while the remaining two sides were occupied by the other four according to their original team assignments.

Furthermore, although Ron from Ronnie Star and Sela from Alrak sat near Rong Shi, there was still some distance left near Rong Shi.

If Earth psychology could be applied to interstellar situations, it could be seen that Rong Shi, whether in status or personality, definitely exerted a great deal of pressure on the others.

While Su Ge quietly observed the others, they were also silently observing this Earthling.

If it had been thirty minutes ago, Zigmadar and the other three aliens probably wouldn’t have cared much about this Earthling. But just now, they witnessed a battle between this Earthling and Rong Shi up close. Even if they hadn’t realized it themselves, subconsciously, they had started to take notice of this Earthling.

After all, whether in combat or interstellar status, Rong Shi was definitely not someone ordinary could surpass. In this show, his combat power overwhelmed everyone. And yet, was it possible that this Earthling had just defeated him??

Either they were going crazy, or the whole interstellar situation was going mad.

All they could see was this Earth woman sitting behind the bonfire, with a relatively flat stone between her and the fire, covered with large leaves. On the ground beside her left hand, there was also a large leaf, on which lay many thin and long sticks.

If one observed carefully, they could notice that one side of these sticks was sharpened to a point, suggesting they could be used as weapons.

And on her right side lay the wooden sword that had just defeated Rong Shi.

At this moment, this Earth woman was manipulating a large piece of red and white… um… seemed like some kind of bodily tissue, placed on a large stone in front of her.

All they could see was her taking out a sharp knife provided by the organizers and cutting the tissue with a simple yet precise technique.

There is an old saying in China that these aliens don’t know, “The adept sees the doorway, the layman sees the spectacle.” Even though the aliens before Su Ge couldn’t discern how skilled she was with the knife, just by observing each piece of tissue she cut into equally sized squares, they could sense something extraordinary.

The piece of red and white tissue was quickly cut into small cubes of the same size. Next, they saw this Earth woman pick up the small thin sticks from the left leaf and thread these small cubes together, one by one.

She did all this without pausing for thought, as if the entire process had been prearranged by some program, swift and fluid from start to finish. The aliens watched with hearts full of questions, yet there was an indescribable sense of satisfaction.

As she worked, the Earth woman’s casual voice rang out, “So, you came here to complete the guidance task?”

“Yeah, precisely because of that. Otherwise, who would willingly…” Sela from Alrak, the race Rong Shi mentioned, known for their exceptional reconnaissance abilities. It’s said that in the Interstellar Alliance’s forces, over fifty percent of ground scouts are of this race.

Sela wasn’t particularly tall, standing at around 1.7 meters. Among the interstellar races, he could only be considered an average-sized male adult. His facial features were quite flat, without any prominent contours. If one wasn’t familiar with him, his face would likely be easily forgotten.

Though Sela’s appearance was unremarkable, Alrak was a Class II star. They were very affluent and held some power in the Interstellar Alliance. Naturally, he also looked down on Earthlings, who were only Class V. So, when he spoke, there was a hint of arrogance.

However, before he could finish his words, his teammate Ron, sitting beside him, nudged him with his elbow, lowered his voice, and quickly interrupted him in a language Su Ge couldn’t understand, “Even Rong Shi can’t defeat her. What are you thinking? If you want to get beaten, just say so, don’t get us involved!”

Ron’s words successfully caught Rong Shi’s attention. He glanced coldly at Ron and Sela, and both of them instinctively shrank their necks. Ron even showed a hint of an embarrassed smile.

“What?” Su Ge couldn’t understand this language and raised her eyes to ask again.

Sela remained silent, while Ron completely changed his demeanor, flashing a very bright smile at Su Ge, appearing particularly enthusiastic. “Exactly, we’re all here to complete the guidance mission.”

” Why are you doing your guidance mission here instead of at your own base? ” Su Ge found it odd.

“Indeed, it’s supposed to be done at our own base, but, but we encountered some minor issues, so, we thought to ask for your help…” Ron spoke very politely, although this politeness carried a sense of detachment and insincerity, it was at least slightly more acceptable than Sela’s naked dislike.
