Chapter 235: Dreaming About It is One Thing (Second Update)
In addition to Green Isle Manor’s weak cultivation, there was indeed a need for a large influx of talent.
Although Ye Wenxin’s subordinates were not yet mature, with her guidance and the support of pills, they could quickly provide more services to the Green Isle Manor.
Most importantly, this time Ye Wenxin was escorting Madam Yu herself. Though Madam Yu was already starting to show displeasure towards her, Ye Wenxin believed she still had various ways to gain Madam Yu’s assistance.
“Madam Yu of Green Isle Manor?” Fatty was astonished, staring at Ye Wenxin’s face incredulously, making Ye Wenxin almost think she had mistakenly changed her appearance with Bone-shrinking technique, causing something to look wrong.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Ye Wenxin felt a bit unsure but tried to conceal her inner uneasiness as best she could.
“No, I’m just curious what’s different about you, Big Sister. How come all the beautiful women are flocking around you, even Madam Yu…” Fatty’s envy as he looked at Ye Wenxin, made her speechless.
“What do you take me for? I have no relations with any of them.”
Fatty nodded, smiling. “Of course, I know that, but they all want something with you.”
Ye Wenxin wanted to retort his suggestive implication, but found his logic quite undeniable. She didn’t know how to argue with Fatty at the moment.
Fatty continued with a grin, “But I never expected Madam Yu to have such thoughts… Hehehe, I won’t hide it from you, Big Sister. Madam Yu used to be my dream woman.”
Ye Wenxin sensed there was more to Fatty’s words.
In her eyes, Madam Yu was a gentle and intelligent beauty who seemed fragile, yet possessed absolute loyalty and womanly values, making her both admirable and pitiable.
Seeing Fatty’s infatuated expression, Ye Wenxin thought of Madam Yu’s unfortunate marriage and added, “Too bad she’s married.”
However, this only excited Fatty even more, and he continued, “That’s even better!”
Ye Wenxin couldn’t help but feel speechless, then added, “And she has a child.”
Seeing Ye Wenxin’s complex expression, Fatty hurriedly explained, “Big Sister, you’re a woman; you wouldn’t understand. A beautiful yet delicate married woman like her is actually even more cherished.”
Ye Wenxin couldn’t quite comprehend. She thought of Madam Yu’s unique background, and continued, “Because you can place the green hat?”
“Green hat?”
Unfortunately, Fatty didn’t understand Ye Wenxin’s professional jargon. He scratched his head in confusion, not understanding why liking Madam Yu would involve wearing a green hat.
Ye Wenxin tried to translate her Earthly language into simpler terms: “It means you really want to have some intimate affairs with Madam Yu while she’s still married to her husband.”
Fatty fell silent, as if fantasizing it.
“Moreover, you’d hope her husband is sound asleep while you push Madam Yu against the wall and have your way with her,” Ye Wenxin added, and watched as Fatty clenched his fists in excitement, his face turning red as he eagerly exclaimed, “The green hat is great!”
Fatty, fully embracing Earthly culture, showed ecstatic enthusiasm.
Ye Wenxin sighed and patted Fatty’s shoulder. “Dreaming about it is one thing, but… I reckon even if you became like me, Madam Yu still wouldn’t look twice at you.”
Ye Wenxin’s gaze carried pity and sympathy, nearly bringing Fatty to tears.
Ignoring his reaction, she finished her meal and left the disciples’ dining hall behind her……
Ye Wenxin, now a true disciple, had the privilege of eating in the teachers’ dining hall.
However, due to that day’s awkward encounter with Madam Yu, she had reverted to taking her meals in the disciples’ dining hall.
Not only that, but she also had to buy meals for the Tower disciple. Buying food in the teachers’ dining hall would be too conspicuous, and she couldn’t blend in there as well as she did in the disciples’ dining hall.
The sun was shining brightly today, and the flowers were blooming beautifully. Ye Wenxin slowed her pace, taking in the scenery.
The peach blossoms were in full bloom, and under the tree, stood a figure as beautiful as a fairy depicted in a painting scroll.
However, her complexion was not good, and she was dressed in a pale purple gown, with a married woman’s hairstyle, yet her stunning beauty was still evident.
This person was, of course, Madam Yu, whom Ye Wenxin had been trying her best to avoid.
Ye Wenxin couldn’t help but focus her attention.
She noticed a faint black aura surrounding Madam Yu, but unlike before, it was tinged with red, indicating that the tragic Madam Yu, was undergoing a transformation.
Long Qingyue showed the best example of a red aura, which indicated bloodlust and a brutal nature, mostly manifesting on villainous figures.
For someone like Long Qingyue, who could manifest her aura into a tangible form, it would require having killed thousands or dominated many destinies.
How could the gentle Madam Yu harbor such murderous intent?
Ye Wenxin was puzzled. She concealed her own presence and quietly approached. To her surprise, she saw Madam Yu holding a dagger, trying to practice a few moves.
Her movements were graceful, more akin to dancing than practicing martial arts. Despite the beauty of her posture, she was still weak and feeble. After just a few moves, Madam Yu was already sweating.
Sweat glistened as it slid down her fair face, and a blush eventually bloomed across her cheeks that only enhanced her beauty.
Yet her beauty was unlike that of anyone Ye Wenxin had ever known—serene yet resilient, as if she was willing to sacrifice everything for her pursuits.
She appeared to be the most fragile, but her mindset was undoubtedly the strongest.
Ye Wenxin couldn’t help but steal a few more glances. The more she looked, the more familiar those eyes seemed, yet she couldn’t place where she had seen them before.
Madam Yu’s practice session came to an end, and she began to pant heavily, her chest heaving dramatically.
Her graceful figure, even in her exhaustion, was captivating, stirring emotions that were best left untouched.
Dangerously, the peach blossom grove seemed to amplify Madam Yu’s allure, making it even harder for Ye Wenxin to look away, despite her desire to leave.
Madam Yu remained blissfully unaware of Ye Wenxin’s watchful eyes. She glanced around occasionally, as if searching for something.
After a moment, she retrieved a small doll from her bag of holding and began sewing.
The contrast was so striking that Ye Wenxin nearly laughed out loud, but she managed to stifle it.
Madam Yu remained oblivious as she was earnestly sewing the doll. Just by looking at the doll, it was apparent how dexterous Madam Yu was.
