Chapter 60
“This easily unsettled Yang Yunran, especially with Jiang Yi so close, holding him in his arms, their breaths intermingling, surrounded by the invading presence of another person…
If it could continue like this forever, Yang Yunran would certainly nod without hesitation.
But Yang Yunran couldn’t be certain. Could this really last forever?
He gazed at Jiang Yi, who was so near. Jiang Yi adjusted his position, his palm resting on Yang Yunran’s smooth lower back, gently stroking up and down, sensing Yang Yunran’s heightened sensitivity through his body’s reactions and expressions.
Especially his cheeks, which turned very red. Yang Yunran wasn’t sure if it was because he didn’t want to see himself or because he didn’t like being stared at. Yang Yunran’s closed eyelashes trembled continuously. Suddenly shaking his head, he called out, ‘Jiang Yi…’
Jiang Yi: ‘Do you want to or not?’
Yang Yunran remained silent.
Without waiting for Yang Yunran’s answer, Jiang Yi lowered his head and kissed him, blocking what might have been a refusal about to be voiced in the next second.”
Yang Yunran was unable to resist this. Deep down, he still liked Jiang Yi, including his kisses. Jiang’s warm lips and soft tongue enveloped him instantly. His long tongue deeply entered, making Yang Yunran involuntarily open his mouth. He did not respond actively, passively enduring it, his brain dizzy, even hearing some intertwined sounds of water.
At that time, Yang Yunran still had some clarity left and felt that this shouldn’t happen. So he raised his hand and pushed him away twice. Yang Yunran placed his palms on Jiang Yi’s chest, but Jiang Yi caught him and moved downward.
Yang Yunran blushed, feeling burned by the touch, and when he looked up, his eyes were blurred with watery light. Just as he was about to say something, Jiang Yi buried him in another kiss with his lips.
“Don’t reject me, just close your eyes.”
Jiang Yi did not give him the opportunity to speak. This time the kiss was very intense and passionate, their lips and tongues intertwined forcefully. Yang Yunran was quickly drained of all his strength, muddledly embracing Jiang Yi on the sofa in the living room of the suite. He didn’t know if it was clean or not, and the kissing went on for a long time. Yang Yunran’s pants and clothes were messy, and Jiang Yi had thoroughly explored him without restraint. Finally, Jiang Yi’s fingers deeply pinched into his most sensitive skin, as if trying to pry it open.
“That’s enough,” Yang Yunran, limp and tense, managed to regain consciousness. He said hoarsely, “I… I have to leave. We can’t continue like this.”
“You can only say you have to go,” Jiang Yi checked the time on his phone. “There’s nothing urgent for the next two hours. It’s four fifteen in the afternoon.”
Jiang Yi bent down and picked up Yang Yunran in his arms. His two strong arms unexpectedly passed through Yang Yunran’s knees, and Yang Yunran could only lie on him —
He was shocked that Jiang Yi, who didn’t seem like a researcher, felt helpless. He was afraid Jiang Yi would now pin him to the wall. This posture was too ambiguous, but Jiang Yi did not press him against the wall. He carried Yang Yunran into the bedroom, throwing him on the bed.
Harry tried to enter, but Jiang Yi whispered a few words and immediately closed the door.
“I’m starting the timer,” Jiang Yi silenced his phone, took off his pants, and proceeded with a somewhat lengthy foreplay.
Yang Yunran soon became powerless, letting him play as he pleased. He thought dully, let him sleep, it’s only a few minutes anyway…
But Jiang Yi…
Yang Yunran lowered his head, his scalp tingling. “I haven’t showered…” he murmured.
Jiang Yi did not respond. From Yang Yunran’s perspective, all he saw was Jiang Yi’s thick brows, a small nose, and he could not even see his eyes, only his raised eyelashes.
The air was filled with the sounds of mingling water. In order to overturn Yang Yunran’s previous bad experience, Jiang Yi had done everything possible, gently kissing every part of his skin.
Could acting gay be like this? Yang Yunran found it hard to believe, unless this person had no self-esteem.
Did Jiang Yi have no self-esteem?
Yang Yunran thought he had made himself clear. He was no longer a second-generation rich man, and Jiang Yi seemed to understand, so why did he continue…
Maybe Jiang Yi still liked him…
Right?
Yang Yunran lowered his eyes slightly, unable to think clearly or ask aloud. He was afraid Jiang Yi would give him a silent answer, which would only make him feel worse.
Jiang Yi had done a lot of relaxation and preparation, even using some props. When Yang Yunran was finally able to accommodate him, Jiang Yi slowly entered.
Two hours later.
“It’s six thirty in the afternoon, a total of two hours and fifteen minutes,” Jiang Yi reported very accurately, showing the time to Yang Yunran.
Yang Yunran didn’t want to talk, lying on his side clutching a pillow, frowning because he was tired and wanted to sleep.
But Jiang Yi was still working on him, then emphasized, “On average, it was thirty-five minutes per session. You cried, not because I couldn’t do it. You lost.”
“No one is competing with you…” Yang Yunran was rendered speechless by Jiang Yi’s competitiveness.
Half-opening his reddened eyes, he weakly said, “Jiang Yi, your hand… What are you doing?”
Jiang Yi lowered his head. “I’ve torn it. It got a little dirty accidentally. Sorry. I’ll help you clean up now… Let me take you to the shower.”
In the bathroom, Yang Yunran leaned on him while Jiang Yi embraced him, kissing his shoulders and neck under the hot water. At that moment, just holding and kissing him, he felt an impulse to be with him forever, asking Yang Yunran, “Was I more satisfying this time?”
“Where would I compare?” Though unable to compare, Yang Yunran gave a response, “It was quite painful.”
Jiang Yi asked, “Did you feel any pleasure?”
“… A little bit.” Yang Yunran felt something indescribable, but the intense sensation persisted for a long time, especially with Jiang Yi in front of him, sweating drops down. They hugged each other, and Jiang Yi didn’t exert too much force, as if afraid Yang Yunran couldn’t handle it, and didn’t penetrate too deeply. Yang Yunran didn’t intend to tell him; meeting his ex in a hotel room had embarrassed him enough.
Jiang Yi pinched his cheek. “Saying one thing but meaning another.”
“I’m leaving.” Yang Yunran began to dress, his voice hoarse, his face still flushed, and his residual warmth not yet dissipated, ignoring Jiang Yi. “I have plans tonight. My boss’s plane just landed, and I have to have dinner with her.”
“The female boss from the video conference?” Jiang Yi inquired.
“Yes.” Yang Yunran put on his pants, sniffed himself, realizing he was sweating too much; he suspected it might still carry Jiang Yi’s saliva and bodily fluids.
From his luggage, Jiang Yi took out a T-shirt for him. “Wear mine. I’ll take you there.”
“No need. My assistant can pick me up.” Yang Yunran noted their proximity wasn’t far, texted Doudou, and sent his location.
Jiang Yi already acted like a boyfriend, standing at the door in slippers without a shirt, tidying up Yang Yunran’s clothes. He asked, “Where are you having dinner? Besides the female boss, who else will be there? What time will it end?”
“Just the boss, the agent, and the director. We’re shooting a music video in a couple of days,” Yang Yunran explained to him, feeling he was too accommodating to Jiang Yi with his every question. He immediately added, “Don’t think sleeping will reconcile us. I haven’t agreed to anything.”
Jiang Yi’s expression softened. “What do you mean?”
“No hidden meaning. I’m just too tired today to think about anything else. Let’s talk about it another day, Jiang Yi.”
Yang Yunran had only recently discovered that Zhao Youmo had been working in the United States before and had maintained the social media persona of a humble worker. Recently, due to significant changes in his life, he has been sharing fragments of his life on social media, which has sparked attention and debunking.
People who knew Zhao Youmo said, “I remember him; he was very poor and couldn’t even afford tuition. He must be stealing images!”
Then Zhao Youmo swiftly proved them wrong.
It seemed Zhao Youmo had tasted the sweetness of popularity and sought advice from Yang Yunran on various questions about the domestic entertainment industry.
In Yang Yunran’s eyes, Zhao Youmo was just a studious person who missed school and had nothing to do with the entertainment industry. He seemed to lack acting talent or musical ability.
But now, Zhao Yoofumo had ventured into the entertainment industry and was proving wrong all those who had looked down on him.
This turn of events, including his voluntary severance from the Yang family, was seen by Yang Yunran as a sign from fate.
So, would Jiang Yi abandon him midway, like a plot twist, becoming Zhao Youmo’s lapdog? That was hard to say.
Thinking of how Jiang Yi behaved towards him today, Yang Yunran’s cold, dark eyes were tinged with desire. If he treated Zhao Youmo the same way… Yang Yunran couldn’t accept it at all.
Just the thought shattered him.
He had seen countless instances where couples in love one second became unrelated enemies the next. This kind of thing happens all too often.
“So what do you want?” Jiang Yi stopped him from leaving, holding Yang Yunran’s leash, and said, “I need to think about it some more.”
“Think about what?” Jiang Yi had been tortured by his declaration of breaking up for almost a month now! Every day, he questioned himself: Was he really lacking? Where did he fall short that they had to break up?!
So Jiang Yi had been restraining his anger for a long time, enduring it even in bed, preferring to endure it himself rather than hurt him.
Now that Yang Yunran was pulling up his pants and acting like a stranger, still wearing his own clothes with marks left by himself on the pants and red kiss marks on his neck, it was so obvious.
“You want to compare me to a few others?” Jiang Yi’s hand rested on the door lock, his face showing impatience. “Don’t leave without making it clear.”
“Brother, are you from the underworld? You’re kidnapping dogs, and now you want to kidnap people?” Yang Yunran reached for the door handle while answering a phone call.
Doudou said, “Brother Zeng, I’m at the hotel. Slip out secretly, and change your clothes if possible. I’ll pick up the dog. Going to the hotel is a bit too risky.”
Although Yang Yunran was currently using a pseudonym as a masked singer, his songs were quite popular, but he wasn’t a top star. So, he didn’t think anyone would secretly photograph him or chase him like a paparazzi.
But there were many cases where stars were exposed for their relationships in hotels.
“Jiang Yi, I’m going downstairs. My assistant is coming to pick me up. If you don’t let me go, it’s up to you to handle it.” Yang Yunran stared straight at Jiang Yi. He admitted that he still had lingering feelings for Jiang Yi, but he didn’t want to gamble on their relationship.
Jiang Yi couldn’t find a reason why Yang Yunran wanted to break up.
Unless he had truly changed his mind.
Had he?
Jiang Yi cornered Yang Yunran against the door and lowered his head to explore his two obsidian-like eyes. Yang Yunran seemed closed off, unlike when he was on the bed earlier, his eyes filled with longing.
Jiang Yi softened his tone slightly and said, “Baby, give me a reason again. Where did I do wrong? You can tell me, and we can start over.”
Yang Yunran was taken aback by his address because Jiang Yi never called him that. Maybe he used his full name, or more often, just his first name. This kind of address really made Yang Yunran uncomfortable, but he didn’t mention it.
He continued to check the time and said, “I really have to go… Do you remember how many times I asked you if you liked me?”
“And did I not answer?” Jiang Yi said.
Yang Yunran didn’t even look at him. “You answered with ‘mm’. What does ‘mm’ mean? Even mute people can ‘mm’ a few times.”
Jiang Yi pursed his lips. “Does ‘mm’ mean different from ‘I like you’ or ‘I love you’? The former is just more reserved… If you like hearing it, I can say it… Are you listening? Who are you checking messages from?”
Jiang Yi reached out impatiently. “Let me check.”
Immediately, he saw a message from an unfamiliar Beijing number without a contact name lying in Yang Yunran’s phone —
“Baby, why did you block me again? Do you know that I still love you deeply, I can’t help but love you! Today when I saw you, I remembered the passionate times we had together. I can’t let go of my feelings for you, and I think you feel the same. I saw the way you looked at me today, it was clearly filled with love. I want to tell you that I feel the same way. Can I see you tonight? I’ve booked a suite and a candlelight dinner at the Ritz-Carlton. Can I invite you to dinner tomorrow night?”
