Chapter 74 – Finding a House for Granny Hua

Chu Jiangyue brought Granny Hua to her own two-story wooden cabin.

“This house only has me living in it. The food in the first-floor kitchen, you can use as you like.

But you can’t eat it—if you need meals, you’ll have to buy them from the hotel restaurant.”

That was the hotel’s rule. Everything in the cabin was part of the apocalypse hotel’s personal welfare for Chu Jiangyue. No one else was allowed to use it, even if she wanted to give it away for free.

Now, those still living in Shengshi Huadu were mainly there to snatch up new rooms the moment they were released.

Granny Hua wasn’t upset that Chu Jiangyue didn’t put her directly into the Jianglin Hotel. Alone in the world, it didn’t matter to her where she lived.

Chu Jiangyue led her out of the wooden cabin, left Jianglin Hotel, and walked toward Shengshi Huadu.

There were quite a lot of people living there. On the way, Chu Jiangyue met several of them with Granny Hua.

Whenever people saw her, they would stop to greet her.

No helping it—she was the owner of Jianglin Hotel.

Didn’t they already have rooms at Jianglin Hotel? When had they moved back out?

And judging from appearances, the two seemed to be on pretty good terms now.

If Jin Churan was here, that meant the female lead and her team were also nearby.

With them around, Granny Hua’s safety would be better guaranteed.

Students, after all, were simpler minded than adults.

He stepped forward and knocked on the door. Soon someone inside opened it a crack and peeked out.

Jin Churan introduced Chu Jiangyue.

Chu Jiangyue stuffed the bag into Qi Mo’s hand.

“How many crystals is this? You can just deduct it from my salary later, alright?”

Granny Hua didn’t want to take advantage of Chu Jiangyue. Seeing her hand over payment, she immediately offered to have it docked from her own wages.
