Chapter 7
After Mingshu finished speaking, she continued to close her eyes and sleep, but the buzzing of a few bluewings beside her ears was disturbing.
Ming Shu opened her eyes and said, “You guys go find a window seat, I’ll change.”
“There are no window seats left. Let us give you something,” said the man who had been silent the whole time.
“I get carsick, so if it’s not a window seat, then forget it.”
After a few people discussed it, they went out to look for it again, but when they came back they all shook their heads.
“Comrade, let’s exchange sincerely. This is my only box of vanishing cream. I’m giving it to you. Please get up, please.” A soft and gentle voice came from the mouth of a pretty woman in a blouse.
“I don’t need it. If there is no window seat, there’s nothing I can do.” After saying that, Mingshu remained silent.
“Xiao Yun, if you don’t ask her to change, then forget it. Let’s find another place to sit.” The man finally spoke, carrying the bag and pulling the woman to find an empty seat.
“Brother Zhou, He Yun, there are no seats left in the front. Now there are only five people sitting together. Let’s sit down!” Wang Meili was anxious when she saw Zhou Wenfu was about to take He Yun away. She hurriedly walked forward with a smile and pulled He Yun.
As soon as the six of them boarded the bus, they immediately looked for seats that were connected to the other six seats, causing the other seats to be fully occupied. There was no room for them to sit down.
Zhou Wenfu looked around the entire carriage and found that there was indeed no seat. He glanced at Mingshu and felt that she was really in the way.
Then he pulled He Yun to sit down.
Mingshu certainly noticed Zhou Wenfu’s look, but she didn’t care.
When the others saw Zhou Wenfu sit down, they sat down too.
There were only six of them and there were only five seats here, so they had to take turns sitting.
There are six people and five positions. Who should stand first? Several people discussed it again.
In the end, Wang Danli continued to stand, which made her even more dissatisfied with Mingshu.
Seeing that they had quieted down, Mingshu continued to sleep.
I slept until the sun came out in the morning,
Mingshu opened her eyes and saw that the seat where she was supposed to sit could only accommodate three people, but now four people were squeezed in, and she was sitting right next to the window.
Mingshu pushed the girl who was leaning on her away with force.
The girl was caught off guard and lost her balance and fell outward, bumping into Wang Meili who was on top of her.
Because of this collision, Wang Meili bumped into He Yun who was sitting next to her, and squeezed her who was sitting in the aisle.
In the early morning, three screams rang out simultaneously: “Ah! Hiss…it hurts!”
The three people woke up slowly and covered the painful areas with their hands, especially He Yun, who lay on the ground groaning in pain.
Seeing this scene, Zhou Wenfu, who was sitting opposite her, felt distressed. He quickly stood up and helped her up, took out a boiled egg and handed it to her, asking her to apply it on her face to reduce the swelling.
“Wang Danli, why did you bump into me for no reason?” Wang Meili, seeing Zhou Wenfu only caring about He Yun, was filled with jealousy. She angrily questioned Wang Danli, rubbing her head and roaring at her. Her face was horrified, her features distorted.
“No, she was the one who pushed me first!” Wang Danli’s eyes were filled with tears. She also covered her head and pointed at Mingshu aggrievedly.
Seeing this, Ming Shu rudely slapped Wang Danli’s hand away and responded coldly: “Can you squeeze into mine first?”
“Even if I got squeezed, so what? Is it necessary to push so hard?” Wang Danli still covered her head tightly, looking up at Mingshu.
Mingshu stared into her eyes quietly with her calm eyes, without saying a word.
In the end, Wang Danli was the first to give in. She didn’t dare to look Mingshu in the eye again, lowered her head and muttered, “Humph, what’s the big deal? It’s just a squeeze!”
Mingshu didn’t say anything, stood up, took off her backpack and put it on the seat, looking at Wang Danli who was blocking the road. Wang Danli lowered her head and moved sideways to make way for her.
Mingshu squeezed through the crowd and came to the toilet to queue. After using the toilet, she quickly washed herself and returned to her seat.
She saw her small bag thrown on the table and her seat was taken by someone else.
Ming Shu was speechless about this group of men and women.
It’s unbearable to see a group of well-dressed, highly educated people speaking in a way that makes people feel superior, yet actually doing things like usurping other people’s positions.
Wang Danli sat in Mingshu’s seat, and Wang Meili and He Yun sat in turn.
Several women looked up at Mingshu proudly.
Ming Shu didn’t waste any time talking to them, she just grabbed Wang Danli’s collar, frightening her so much that she closed her eyes and screamed “Ahhhh”
When the three men saw their female companion being bullied, they stood up one by one and glared at Ming Shu, “What do you want to do?”
Without waiting for their reaction, Mingshu threw Wang Danli into the corridor and returned to her seat.
Wang Danli lost her balance and fell down, crying loudly.
The man in military green clothes stepped forward to help her up. He turned around and punched Mingshu in the face. The veins on his hand bulged, showing how much strength the man had put in.
Wang Danli, who had just stood firm, was delighted when she saw her companion taking action. She beat the woman up and vented her anger.
Mingshu saw the fist coming down and was about to raise her hand when a man in blue clothes stood in front of her.
Ming Shu looked up and saw a tall, strong, handsome man catching the fist of the man in the army green clothes with one hand. He pushed forward with his hand, and the man in the army green clothes fell to the seat.
The man in the army green clothes wanted to stand up, but was held down by the people around him.
Everyone present was looking at the man who suddenly appeared. Anyone who could take the punch from his companion must be very capable.
This group of people knows who to mess with and what not to mess with!
Ming Shu looked up and said “thank you” to the man
The man stared into the eyes of the woman in front of him, he smiled and said “You’re welcome”
Ming Shu lowered her head and took out two eggs from her bag and handed them to the man. “Here, commission.”
The man looked down at the two eggs, then looked at Mingshu’s serious eyes, reached out to take them and nodded at her.
The man returned to his position with the egg.
“Shi Yan, why do you suddenly want to help others? Do you know that girl?” his companion asked curiously.
“You know me!” Shi Yan said while peeling an egg. “Actually, she can handle it without me.”
“You fought with her?” An Chi asked in surprise. He turned and glanced at Ming Shu. Her features were cold and clear, and she was a little plump. In this day and age, she was still so beautiful. She must have been loved by her family.
But you can’t tell she’s good at fighting.
“I can’t tell,” An Chi still didn’t believe it.
“Why are you so curious? Don’t provoke her. Even I can’t…” Shi Yan paused here, lowered his head and didn’t say anything else.
“What?” An Chi was waiting for him to continue speaking, but his companion stopped talking.
“Nothing,” Shi Yan turned and looked at Ming Shu who was eating a pancake.
“Hey, you talk like you’ve fought him before.”
Shi Yan still looked at Ming Shu: “We had a fight, but she counterattacked. I had no choice but to give in to her.”
Mingshu was eating a pancake when she suddenly felt a gaze. She looked up and saw the man looking at the pancake in her hand again.
Ming Shu secretly counted the pancakes in the bag, and found that they might not even be enough for her. So, forget it. If he hadn’t been there, she would have helped herself. Two eggs would have been the limit. It wasn’t even worth a pancake.
Mingshu lowered her head and bit the already hard biscuit.
They both knew and recognized each other.
But she didn’t want to be involved with him. She could only pretend not to know him, but she really didn’t know him!
I will repay him for saving my life someday!
When the man in green military uniform saw that Mingshu had someone helping her, he didn’t dare to attack again.
Ming Shu looked coldly at his lowered hand, feeling a little regretful.
She lowered her head and continued to bite the pancake.
Smiles flashed in their eyes and they took out the sesame seed cakes and eggs to eat.
The man in the green military uniform might have a well-off family. He took out a box of exquisite pastries. His companions were not polite and said thank you one after another, reaching out to finish the box of pastries.
Seeing this, Shi Yan took out the pastries from his bag, walked up to Ming Shu and handed them to her.
Ming Shu looked up at him and shook her head “I don’t need it”
“Thank you for the eggs,” Shi Yan placed the cake in front of her and returned to his seat.
Mingshu stared at the exquisite pastries in front of her and felt the urge to get up and return them.
However, she hesitated, fearing that she would embarrass herself if she went over right away.
Although she doesn’t understand the ways of the world, she knows how to respect others.
If someone treats her well, she will treat him well. Besides, he is her lifesaver.
At this moment, Wang Meiying on the side curled her lips in disdain and muttered, “What a poor guy.” Although her voice was not loud, it was clearly heard by Mingshu.
Ming Shu seemed not to hear her, ignoring her ridicule, she stared at the pastry, put it aside, and turned to look at the scenery outside.
