The Frail Beauty, Always Ravished and Seized by Villains! Chapter 13

Chapter 13 Enemy, Yet Lovers (13)

“Bang—”

The door in front of her was slammed shut with force, and Xin Ling was driven out by Ouyang Shaojing.

“Hoo…”

She let out a light breath in her heart.

That had really suffocated her just now. If it weren’t for the mission, she would have rushed up recklessly, given Tang Yue a slap and Ouyang Shaojing two slaps.

On behalf of the original host.

The original host had protected him so much, dutifully and responsibly as his guardian angel, even losing her wings—the most important thing to the angel race—for his sake, yet he actually called her malicious?

And even said he wanted to kick her out to reflect on herself?

Xin Ling felt a little stifled. She decided to go out for a walk and clear her mind.

Just as she lifted her foot to step outside, the door behind her suddenly opened. A man reached out like a gloomy male ghost, seized her wrist, and yanked her inside with force.

The door shut tight, and Xin Ling’s back was pressed against it by Cen Yinian’s arm.

The man stood against the light, short jet-black hair falling in messy strands across his brows and lashes, shading much of his expression.

He didn’t look very pleased.

His weight against her was tight, almost suffocating.

Xin Ling lifted her gaze at Cen Yinian, confusion in her expression. “Cen Yinian, what are you—”

The word “doing” hadn’t yet left her lips before the man cupped the back of her head and kissed her, wild and frenzied.

Xin Ling couldn’t withstand it.

The breath in her chest was completely plundered. The biting, sucking, and nibbling sensations made her tremble uncontrollably, her eyes turning red as physiological tears welled up.

Then, they were licked and kissed away.

She was like a bindweed flower in the midst of a storm, swaying and fragile under the pounding rain, forced to reach out with both hands to cling desperately to the only tree before her.

Forced to endure, forced to give more.

It was as if the man could no longer maintain his façade before her. He tore off the last layer of disguise completely, every movement filled with his possessiveness.

Wanting to seize, wanting to claim, wanting to pluck the flower.

“Do you really like him that much?”

“Even though his heart and eyes are full of someone else, even though he scolds you and blames you because of her, with no pity at all for everything you’ve done for him?”

Cen Yinian stopped, raising a hand to brush her damp lashes, forcing her to look at him.

“Don’t like him anymore, baby. He’s not worth it. He’s not worth anything.”

His low, hoarse voice carried a faint sob. The arm around her waist tightened further, as if trying to embed her into his body.

“Baby, don’t like him anymore. Choose someone else to love.”

“Love me. Love me, won’t you?”

Xin Ling slowly came back to her senses. She panted lightly, patting Cen Yinian’s back, her voice soft. “Cen Yinian, let go of me first.”

Her legs had gone weak from the kiss, unable to support her. With her back pressed against the door by his hold, the position made her uncomfortable.

“No.”

He refused outright, leaving no room for negotiation.

“My legs are sore…” Xin Ling had no choice but to tug his ear, trying to awaken his conscience. “I can’t stand properly.”

“Then I’ll carry you to the sofa.”

Without another word, Cen Yinian scooped her up, striding purposefully into the room. Only after shutting the door again did he set her down.

Was he afraid she’d run away?

Even sitting on the sofa, he held her tightly in his arms like a clingy shadow.

“Baby hasn’t answered my question yet.”

Like a puppy, Cen Yinian licked her lips again, kissing her slowly as he waited for her reply.

Xin Ling leaned back to avoid his seeking kiss, lifting her eyes to meet his. “Then answer me a question first.”

“Alright, baby. Whatever you want to know, you can ask.”

“I’ll tell you everything.”

He really was like a little dog.

Xin Ling blinked, suppressing the urge to ruffle his hair, and asked, “How do you know how he treats me?”

“And why is it that every time, you can appear so precisely before me, as if I had a tracker on me and you knew my whereabouts at every moment?”

The more she thought about it, the more suspicious it seemed…

Oh no,

She might have really run into a pervert.

꒦ິ^꒦ິ

“If I tell you the truth, baby, don’t be afraid of me, alright?”

Feeling the arm around her waist tightening again, Xin Ling couldn’t help but grow curious about what truth he was hiding.

Was he really that afraid she’d run?

“Mhm, you say it first.”

She would consider whether to be afraid after he spoke.

It wasn’t possible that the man in front of her would actually turn into a demon, right?

The moment her words fell, the aura around Cen Yinian shifted drastically. Dark streams of light rippled around him, wrapping around not just his body but hers as well.

The scene was so shocking that Xin Ling froze in place.

So this big bad wolf hadn’t just been pretending—he was actually a demon, disguised as a human right beside her.

!

Xin Ling was horrified.

Her back prickled with pain, as if ants were gnawing her. Overwhelmed by instinctive fear, her body reacted on its own.

Faced with a high-level natural enemy, her instincts recoiled.

Her body trembled, shivering as she tried to break free.

“Baby, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid of me…” Almost the instant he sensed her fear, Cen Yinian’s demonic aura vanished without a trace.

He held her tightly, soothing her, yet never letting her go.

Looking at him now in his normal human guise, if not for the lingering dread in her body, Xin Ling might have thought she had imagined it all.

“You… you’re actually… a demon?!” Her trembling voice matched the flutter of her thick lashes.

She couldn’t believe it.

“Don’t be afraid, baby. I won’t hurt you.”

Cen Yinian lowered his head, kissing her eyes. In those beautiful eyes, the moist red shimmer was tinged with rejection and fear.

He didn’t like it.

“If you don’t like my demonic form, then I won’t change anymore. I’ll always appear as I am now, just like this with you, alright?”

“Whatever you like, that’s what I’ll be.”

“No…”

Perhaps because Cen Yinian’s coaxing was skillful, Xin Ling’s fear had lessened, replaced with grievance. “My wings were cut off by demons. You’re also a demon, so I don’t want to be with you.”

“Go away, don’t hold me…”

Xin Ling pushed against him, but he seized her wrists, pressing them down until their fingers intertwined.

“That bad one wasn’t me. But I’ve already avenged you.”

Cen Yinian kept kissing her as he explained, “I beat him until he was nearly dead, left him with just one breath—for you to finish off with your own hands, alright?”
