Chapter 41: Whose rag has become a spirit?
Lou Qi thought for a moment and handed Li Yang a few more types of runes, whispering, “Be careful.”
“Wait.”
Just as she was about to step out, a pink blob flew past her.
Li Yang was startled: “Whose cleaning rag has come to life?”
The pink rag moved, weakly getting up from the ground, revealing Feng Yao’s bloodstained, red-rimmed, wet face. She looked pitiful and pleaded, “Can you… take me to see my senior brother?”
The two talisman masters in the defensive formation, Lou Qi and Luo Qingyang, both visibly frowned.
Unlike Li Yang, they had been on the battlefield and could see the situation more clearly.
Feng Yao had been forced onto the battlefield, hiding behind others.
It was understandable that a girl might be timid.
But when Li Yang suggested going to deliver the spirit plants, she immediately pounced over, her reaction was too swift.
Obviously, her mind had not been on the battle at all, she had been eavesdropping.
She probably thought the other side was safer, so she wanted to escape at this moment.
Her request was not unreasonable.
Li Yang didn’t know why Lou Qi and Luo Qingyang’s faces had changed, she just waited a few seconds, seeing that they didn’t stop her, she nodded without understanding, “Then follow me!”
With that, the girl stepped out of the defensive formation and stepped onto the Xuan sword.
Feng Yao jumped onto it in an instant, grabbing her clothes tightly.
She frowned, also a little unhappy.
No sword? Had to be on hers, and she got her clothes dirty.
In front of so many people, Li Yang didn’t say anything, she was vaguely unhappy, and flew quickly to the other side.
As she passed through the blood clan formation, she felt a tug on her lower back, followed by Feng Yao’s surprised cry.
Li Yang looked back and saw that Feng Yao had fallen to the ground at some point, looking confused and bewildered.
Lou Qi said softly, “It seems that only the little junior sister can pass through the blood clan formation, you can’t, just go fight honestly!”
Li Yang looked in front of her, only now did she vaguely see a transparent formation, blocking them.
She said why Lou Qi was so confident in letting her go alone knowing there were three sword cultivators on the other side.
She said why Feng Yao had to use the same sword as her.
Oh, it turns out they couldn’t get through.
Li Yang shrugged: “It’s not my fault.”
Lou Qi: “Go quickly.”
She nodded, acting very dramatically, she sadly clenched her fists towards them: “Your servant is withdrawing…”
“This withdrawal is for life…”
Lou Qi: “…”
Luo Qingyang touched his nose: “Why do I feel like she’s very heroic.”
Not long after Li Yang entered, she felt three murderous auras approaching simultaneously.
The three blood clan members officially appeared in front of her.
The Sixth Elder’s face was flushed, he said word by word: “Found, you.”
To kill Li Yang, he hadn’t even bothered to look for anyone else during this time.
As a result, he had circled around for a long time before realizing that the girl had gone to the other side through the blood clan formation and just returned. He hadn’t expected it at all, he felt that Li Yang had insulted their blood clan formation, he was simply furious.
Lou Qi and Luo Qingyang saw the girl being stopped but couldn’t do anything to help, their hearts tightened at the same time.
Feng Yao stared intently at the scene in front of her.
Feng Yao, consumed by jealousy, harbored a dark wish for Li Yang to be brutally killed by the vampires. She couldn’t believe that someone could be so hated for simply drawing and singing.
Li Yang, unaware of Feng Yao’s venomous thoughts, used her knowledge of talisman formations to her advantage. She knew that the vampires’ power was divided with their young master, making them weaker.
She challenged the Sixth Elder, using speed talismans to propel her black sword like a rocket, knocking away a guard and escaping. Luo Qingyang was astonished, as he had never seen speed talismans used in such a way.
Li Yang, now skilled in flying, drew a long line in the sky with her rune pen. This confused Luo Qingyang, who couldn’t understand her strategy.
The line transformed into a spreading fire, covering Li Yang’s scent and allowing her to escape once more.
The guard, who had been knocked away by Li Yang’s sword, fell from the sky, landing headfirst in the ground.
Luo Qingyang, impressed by Li Yang’s cleverness, applauded her skills.
Feng Yao, witnessing Li Yang’s playful manipulation of the vampires, felt a surge of resentment. She couldn’t understand why Li Yang was treated so well by Lou Qi and Zhuang Churan, while she was constantly belittled.
Li Yang, back in the cave, blocked the entrance and used a concealment talisman. She then carelessly threw a pile of ice crystal fruit on the floor.
Meng Zhang, overwhelmed by the abundance, carefully picked them up.
Li Yang, exhausted but triumphant, demanded her share of the elixir for her hard work.
Meng Zhang, impressed by her skills, agreed.
Li Yang, taking a break, ate a roujiamo (Chinese steamed bun with meat filling), while Ning Shiyan silently ate the other one.
Meng Zhang, noticing the faint fragrance, chose to focus on refining the elixir, turning his back on them.
