A Kiss Under the Summer Sky Chapter 14

Chapter 14: Do You Want to See Me Run Naked? (1/2)

Sheng Yize said nothing.

He quietly watched her, then bent down to pick up the two boxes of Autumn Moon Pears, stepping towards the girls’ dormitory.

After walking for a while, noticing that the girl had not caught up, he turned around and looked at her leisurely.

Sang Sui then realized, quickly jogging to catch up with him.

He continued walking ahead, and she followed quietly by his side, occasionally glancing at him.

He was tall, a whole head taller than her. His pure white shirt, pressed by the cardboard boxes, had creases, subtly revealing the contours of his abdominal muscles.

They walked side by side, passing by the girls who occasionally glanced at them, but most were secretly looking at Sheng Yize.

He was indeed handsome. Even in simple attire, he exuded an aristocratic and distinguished aura.

Sang Sui sneaked a look at his upper body. The cardboard boxes were dirty, and as they pressed against his abdomen, they left stains in the area around his waist.

She immediately frowned.

Sheng Yize was a person who liked cleanliness. Even when he smoked, it was hard to smell any smoke on him, only a faint scent of cedar.

He had a mild case of obsessive cleanliness, yet he was willing to help her carry things without minding the stain on his shirt. Did this mean…

He was willing to accept the Autumn Moon Pears that his mother had sent?

Thinking of this, Sang Sui clasped her hands behind her back, and her steps felt lighter.

She couldn’t help but feel happy. Suddenly, Sheng Yize’s pace slowed down.

Sang Sui quickly stopped smiling and straightened up.

Sheng Yize turned around to look at her. “Consider this a warning.”

“Mm?”

“Stay away from Xie Jingyu in the future.”

“Why?” Sang Sui was a little displeased.

“He’s like a vicious dog.”

“…”

Chapter 14: Do You Want to See Me Run Naked? (2/2)

Sheng Yize seemed to have some hostility toward Xie Jingyu.

But he didn’t explain why, just warning her to stay away from him.

Sang Sui didn’t dare to ask any further.

But she was curious—weren’t they meeting for the first time? How did Sheng Yize know Xie Jingyu’s name?

Before she could think more, they had already reached the bottom of the dormitory building.

Sheng Yize was planning to leave after unloading the boxes, but he glanced at the girl once more.

She was small and had no muscles at all.

Given that the girl couldn’t carry the boxes upstairs by herself, he told the dorm manager and directly took her things into the dorm.

Her dormitory was on the fifth floor. Carrying forty kilograms of items up the stairs would have exhausted an ordinary person.

But Sheng Yize seemed unaffected, his demeanor calm and at ease, making it look effortless.

Back in the dorm, Sang Sui realized that her roommates were not there.

Sheng Yize entered with the Autumn Moon Pears, placing them on the floor.

Knowing that he was a clean freak, Sang Sui quickly grabbed a damp towel from her desk and offered it to him.

He glanced at her, took the towel, and carefully wiped his hands clean.

Seeing the hesitation in her expression, Sheng Yize spoke up. “Is there something you want to say?”

“Your shirt… near your waist…” Sang Sui cautiously pointed to the stain. “It’s dirty.”

He looked down and noticed the yellow stain on his waist, visible through his white shirt.

Sheng Yize raised an eyebrow, his expression cracking slightly.

Sang Sui, afraid he might be angry, quickly said, “How about you take it off, and I’ll clean it for you!”

“…”

Sheng Yize lifted his eyes to meet hers, raising an eyebrow.

“Do you want to see me run naked?”

I don’t have that kind of fetish!

He was only wearing a white shirt, and there were no men’s clothes to change into. Sheng Yize naturally wouldn’t take it off for her.

Moreover, he didn’t like anyone touching his clothes.

He looked at Sang Sui.

“Enough. If there’s nothing else, I’m leaving.” Sheng Yize threw the towel into the trash, turned around, and walked out of the dorm.

“Wait!”

Sang Sui quickly opened a box of Autumn Moon Pears, holding one in each hand as she chased after him.

Sheng Yize turned around, and Sang Sui was already standing in front of him.

The girl held a pear in her hand, her face expectant but cautious. “This… this is for you, thank you for carrying it upstairs for me.”

The pear was large, making her small hands look even smaller. It nearly filled her entire palm.

He slowly moved his gaze from her hand to her face.

Her pale, smooth face, perhaps due to anxiety, had a subtle flush despite the early autumn chill.

Her breathing was slightly hurried, her chest rising and falling gently. The plain clothes she wore made her appear even more innocent and pure.

Sometimes, he didn’t understand how she could be so persistent.

She had been rejected by him so many times, but still, she kept trying, offering him her kindness again and again.

But…

This pear was something that woman had touched.

He felt disgusted.

As Sheng Yize stayed silent, not moving, Sang Sui felt uneasy and uncertain.

She truly just wanted to thank him for his help.

Whether it was when he took her home last time or this time helping her with the pears, she felt it was time to return the favor.

Although, this favor… he probably didn’t care about and didn’t want.

While waiting, as she saw him still not acting, her hope slowly faded, and a sense of dejection washed over her.

He remained cold and outright rejected her.

“You don’t need to.”

Sang Sui’s face stiffened.

But this time, she didn’t back down.

She forced a pear into his hand, quickly turned, and walked away.

“If you don’t want it, just throw it away.”

The door to the dorm closed with a dull sound.

The corridor was empty, and Sheng Yize stood there, the pear in his hand feeling like a hot iron, burning his palm.

He lowered his gaze to the pear, his brows furrowing, a deep disgust forming in his eyes.

Thinking of the woman’s face, Sheng Yize said nothing and turned to leave.

He walked straight to the trash can, preparing to throw it away.

But halfway there, his hand froze.

He stared at the pear, his fingers tightening around it, leaving indents in the fruit.

Sheng Yize’s lips pressed into a thin line, his face darkening.

A student who had come to throw away some trash recognized him and was about to greet him with a “Senior Sheng,” but when they saw his terrifying expression, they quickly dropped their trash and ran off.

Anger surged in his chest, causing his whole body to tremble slightly.

After a long while, he took a deep breath, finally releasing his grip and turning to leave.

Once in the car, Sheng Yize tossed the pear onto the center console, leaning back in his seat, rubbing his temple.

Chen Yi, who had been waiting for him in the car, froze when he saw his dark expression and asked, “What happened?”

The man remained silent.

Chen Yi glanced at the pear, “That pear… did Sang Sui give it to you?”

Sheng Yize threw the pear into his lap. “Eat it.”

“…”

That girl was so well-behaved, why did she end up making the great man angry again?

Chen Yi looked at him with a teasing glint in his eyes.

“Isn’t it bad? After all, it’s a gift from Sang Sui.”
