Chapter 256
ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー
I was taken to a room by Volga-san, along with Margo and Sarasa. Alan-san, the guildmaster, began asking Sarasa some questions. While they were talking, Alan-san would occasionally glance in my direction.
And then Alan-san suddenly shouted.
“UWOHHHHH!!!
He then snatched the paper from my hand, the one containing the description of the lethal poison and the Kobold King equipment and began reading the paper with so much intensity.
After finishing reading the appraisal result, Alan-san turned his intense gaze towards me and grabbed my shirt with both of his hands, shaking me vigorously.
It feels like my head is being shaken like a maracas.
“Alan-san, I have the poison in my bag. If the bottle breaks, we’re all going to die, you know?”
For the time being, I tried to pull another light-hearted joke to clear the tension away. However, everyone (four of them) suddenly scattered away until their back reached the wall like barnacles and clamped their mouths shut. Their faces were turning ghastly pale. I felt like Moses parting the Red Sea.
It took quite a while before everyone understood I was just joking around. Even then, I received a good scolding from everyone. It seemed they were quite upset over my harmless joke.

Volga-san then had other merchant apprentices bringing the Kobold King equipment from my carriage and the poison from my house. He then placed all of them on the table. Of course, there were also plenty of antidotes on the table.
All four of them began inspecting the new items on the table. They started asking me questions like…
“How did you make this?”
“Try using the equipment for real.”
They interrogated me thoroughly.
And it wasn’t just the four of them. The drawing room became bustling with people, from staff members coming to appraise it using appraising items in the shape of a magnifying glass to unfamiliar merchants. All sorts of people constantly come in and out of the room.
Finally, Alan-san suddenly grabbed my shoulders.
“Guernica×〇, Bavarian×〇, ◆△〇◆!!!
” He said the words I really didn’t want to hear and dragged me to a particularly luxurious carriage. I was ushered into the carriage without having any chance to resist.
Now that the uproar has escalated to this level, I don’t think there’s any point in trying to resist but you know, maybe I shouldn’t have shown them this in the first place… Well, it’s already too late to be regretting it now anyway.

Hahaha. This made me smile
He should have kept the armor for his own use. He needs to have some capable equipment for the future.
