The town’s name…

To be honest, I don’t care about the name of the town but apparently, the name is something the lord has to choose and typically, the town is named after the lord’s wife.

It seemed the standard template was something like (I love you + the wife’s name) but as a Japanese person, that kind of naming sounded too cringey to my liking. 

Sarasa and Margo were teasing me with a huge grin on their faces. “What about ‘I Love You Yurina’?” It annoyed me to see that smirk on their faces.

However, it’s important to respect the local traditions. I can’t just disregard their culture simply because of my own preference…

And so, I decided on using a Japanese word for ‘I love you’ but I would explain the meaning to them truthfully. I would purposely tell them the wrong meaning just so the outsiders wouldn’t understand the real meaning.

I don’t know if there’s a better word for it but to translate it literally, it should be ‘Aishiteru Yurina’ in Japanese.

…..But the wording feels kind of strange. I wonder if there’s a better word for it….

At that moment, the music of a Japanese band, a song  that was perfect for summer, crossed my mind. 

Ellie, my beloved…. Ellie, my beloved….

“Ah! I know! Itoshino Yurina!”

“Sounds good! But what does ‘itoshino’ mean?”

Seemingly pleased because I had incorporated Yurina’s name, Sarasa asked the meaning of the word by using a mixture of gestures and Lancaster language.

“It means I respect you!”

While giving her a thumbs up, I smoothly avoided telling her the real meaning.

While Sarasa and I continued engaging in our uselesss banter, Taylor-san was busy drawing something on a paper. It turned outTaylor-san was designing the crest of the Baron Wolfszahn family.

I thought the crest would have a fierce and wild feeling to it since Wolfszahn meant “wolf’s fang”. However, to my surprise, Taylor-san came up with a very delicate and cute design. It was the picture of a wolf pup chasing after a butterfly with a happy hop on its feet. It was a very fancy and adorable family crest.

Knowing how scary women could get when you hurt their feelings, I decided to follow Margo and Juno’s footsteps. I agreed on the adorable family crest design so I wouldn’t upset the women.

T/N: Maybe people will think MC is very lacking in backbone for being ‘scared’ of his wife but I think MC is not actually ‘scared’. He just doesn’t want to upset Yurina-san because he loves her and about the family’s crest… I don’t think MC really cares about the design.If using a cute design will make Yurina and the other girls happy then it’s all good for MC.
