Chapter 184: Made Mark (2/2)
Xuan’er showed no hesitation, as if she had been planning this for a long time, and reached out to pull apart the collar at her chest, revealing a patch of soft, tender skin.
That was precisely where the heart was located, and when Xuan’er lowered her head, she could see it too.
“Are you sure?” Yi Lian was once again taken aback. “This area is soft, and getting a tattoo there will hurt a lot. Removing it will hurt even more!”
“Absolutely sure!” Xuan’er had lost count of how many times she had said “sure,” feeling a bit irritated.
“Just tattoo here! And why would I want to remove it? I want to keep it for a lifetime.”
Yi Lian was stunned, wondering what had gotten into Xuan’er.
Previously, she thought Xuan’er was just an exceptionally beautiful girl, but now there was this obsessive side to her.
Just because of a quarrel, she wanted to get a tattoo? And a Demon Race tattoo at that, right on her chest?
Yi Lian wanted to say that Xuan’er was so young and beautiful, why bother? But she held her tongue, as she was still Ning Wuxie’s partner and would follow him to open Lanyuan in the future.
She understood the complexities of human relationships.
However, she silently felt that Ning Wuxie was a bit of a scumbag… making Xuan’er so heartbroken.
“Then I will prepare the materials. Did you bring the love poison poison gland?”
“I brought it.” Xuan’er replied, taking out a pink poison gland crystal ball, relieved that this item had not been taken by Ning Wuxie.
Yi Lian prepared the tattoo materials, closed the doors and windows, and let Xuan’er lie down on the bed.
“Now I will start, so bear with it.”
“Okay.” Xuan’er timidly replied, and at that moment, her voice trembled slightly.
Yi Lian wrote Ning Wuxie’s name on a piece of paper for Xuan’er to see, then took out the long-sealed Peach Blossom Snake fangs, recalling the technique for tattooing.
“I haven’t tattooed in a long time, so it might hurt a lot.”
“You can still give up now if you want.”
“I won’t give up! Just go ahead!” Xuan’er said, though afraid, her voice was incredibly firm, “Hurry up, or brother will come!”
After more than an hour, the small house was filled with the sounds of muffled pain and soft cries.
With a loud bang, the door was slammed open, and Xuan’er and Yi Lian’s first reaction was to cover their exposed areas.
In the next second, they realized the person was Ning Wuxie.
“Xuan’er!” He called out in surprise.
“What are you two doing?!”
At that moment, the name “Ning Wuxie” was almost complete, with only the final stroke left to be tattooed.
Ning Wuxie stared in shock at the area above Xuan’er’s left chest, where a patch of tender skin was slightly reddened, displaying the light pink, unfinished version of his name.
“What is this! What are you doing?!”
Ning Wuxie widened his eyes and rushed forward, wanting to touch his name, but was once again startled by the alarming blood-red mark on Xuaner’s left chest.
Xuan’er gripped a crumpled towel in her right hand, already marked with bite marks, her face tear-streaked and clearly in pain.
“I want to leave a mark on myself to remind me…” Xuan’er looked at the name on her chest, her voice trembling as she spoke softly.
“This way, in the future, I won’t forget brother.”
She looked up at Ning Wuxie and smiled sweetly.
Ning Wuxie slapped his forehead, speechless.
With only the last stroke left for his name, it would look even worse if it remained incomplete. At this point, completely removing it was impossible, as it would cause Xuan’er unbearable pain.
Knowing that Xuaner’s tattoo could usually be hidden and would only show at specific moments, Ning Wuxie finally felt a bit comforted.
Otherwise, having his name tattooed on her chest would be quite a sight, making it impossible to dress freely, afraid of being seen, and others might think Xuan’er and Ning Wuxie had some kind of relationship.
That would be truly absurd… although Xuan’er felt quite the opposite deep down.
As long as she could be with Ning Wuxie forever…
