Song Yi hesitated, realizing that trying to reason with Gu Xingchuan would likely only lead to more frustration. He was in a good mood today and didn’t want to get angry.
Pulling out her phone, Song Yi dialed Shen Li’s number to check if he was able to go back safely.
However, as soon as he dialed, the volume of the TV suddenly went up, drowning out any possibility of communication. The basketball game’s cacophonous cheers overwhelmed the room, rendering the call futile.
Glancing at Gu Xingchuan, who appeared unfazed, Song Yi realized that there was no way for him to make a call. Holding his phone, he walked out of the door and into the hotel corridor, where he could talk with Shen Li normally.
“Are you asleep, Xiaoli?” Song Yi’s voice was calm and elegant.
Shen Li chuckled through the receiver and said, “Just after taking a shower and lying in bed, your call came in.”
“Seems like I caught you at the right moment.” Song Yi replied with a light smile, his fingers gripping the phone as he sincerely said. “Seeing you today was a pleasant surprise.”
Shen Li sounded very happy and the two chatted happily for a few minutes.
Gu Xingchuan followed over, holding his arms and lazily leaning against the wall. His long legs were half bent, his head slightly tilted, and his eyes remained calm as he looked at Song Yi.
Song Yi had initially intended to inquire about Shen Li’s recent text message and perhaps exchange some playful banter. However, Gu Xingchuan stood there like a venerable Buddha, making him speechless. So, he hastily wrapped up the conversation with Shen Li, and Song Yi ended the call before he returned to his room.
The TV volume had been turned down, a deliberate act of Gu Xingchuan. Feeling frustrated, Song Yu sank onto the sofa.
Why did Gu Xingchuan always seem to oppose him and sabotage his efforts.
Gu Xingchuan sat down next to him, comfortably crossing his legs and occupying most of the space on the double sofa.
Song Yi didn’t want to talk to him now and moved to one side, quietly watching the programs on TV.
“What did you just talk to Shen Li about?” Gu Xingchuan asked casually.
Song Yi pursed her lips, resolved to maintain his silence until the end.
Gu Xingchuan glanced at him, noticing the soft glow of the TV casting a mesmerizing light on his profile. His lashes glistened like golden powder, accentuating his beauty.
By some twist of fate, Gu Xingchuan recalled their previous kiss in the cinema. Song Yi’s lips were soft, like delicate pudding.
He wanted to taste it again.
Thus, as soon as he thought of it, Gu Xingchuan without warning draped his arms around Song Yi’s shoulder, pulling him towards him, his lips pressed against and deepening the kiss before Song Yi could even react.
Last time, it had been merely a fleeting touch but this time, it was a genuine intimate encounter—a dominant, fierce, and exceedingly possessive kiss.
Song Yi was startled, but quickly reacted and pushed Gu Xingchuan’s shoulder, trying to distance the two. However, Gu Xingchuan remained motionless and instead deepened the kiss with fervor.
Having relied on his singing career for years, Gu Xingchuan’s lips and tongue possessed a skill unmatched by most to that of ordinary people. In a mere second, Song Yi found himself overwhelmed, struggling to catch his breath. Yet, she refused to concede, biting down hard until a faint of blood lingered in his mouth.
Gu Xingchuan let go of him, breathing heavily, his tone laced with confidence. “Shen Li, kiss your face, and I’ll kiss your mouth.”
This way it would seem fair.
Song Yi glared at him in disbelief, what kind of twisted logic was this? How could he even begin to argue?
