The Sixth Prince looked so horrible, he didn’t look like a good person at all.
Ji Jinyou didn’t know what he was going to do and was a little scared. She turned around and ran back a few steps, hiding behind an osmanthus tree, hugging the trunk and looking at him with her little head.
The little fat girl was so well behaved in the arms of the Empress and the Imperial Noble Consort, but she avoided him like this. The Sixth Prince felt it was unfair and stood up, “Hey, you little Nine, why are you hiding from me? Sixth Brother is here to give you some candy.”
Seeing that he was finally willing to speak in his original voice, Ji Jinyou breathed a sigh of relief and slowly moved out from behind the tree.
The Sixth Prince smiled and held out the candy in his hand again: “Come and take it.”
Ji Jinyou waved her chubby hands and refused: “Youyou, if you don’t eat candy, your teeth will hurt.”[1]don’t think that grammar and sentence is a bit weird, you can’t expect a 3 years old baby to speak fluently
”Does your tooth hurt?” The Sixth Prince took a piece of candy and put it in his mouth. He chewed it for a while and then opened his mouth and said, “It doesn’t hurt. Look, Sixth Brother doesn’t feel any pain. Come on, take it.”
That’s because you eat less, Ji Jinyou thought to herself.
Seeing that this strange Sixth Brother was so kind, she thought it would be a good idea to take it and give it to Jin Xing and the others. So she walked over with her short legs, took the bag of candy, and bowed: “Thank you, Sixth Brother.”
The little chubby baby had a babyish voice and thanked her seriously like an adult. The Sixth Prince was so envious of her that he pinched her chubby hand and said, “Big brother and sister-in-law are here, and your seventh and eighth sisters are in the mother’s palace. It’s so lively. Sixth brother will take you to play with them, okay?”
The Sixth Prince was a little cautious. Thinking that the First Prince and the First Prince’s Wife were not very close to Xiaojiu, he did not directly ask to bring her to see them, but instead pulled out Xiaoqi and Xiaoba.
”Okay.” Ji Jinyou thought about it and nodded.
Since she had decided to cling to the Empress and the Imperial Consort, she had to go to such gatherings if they took the initiative to pick her up.
Besides, she still had to remind the Sixth Prince about Liu Yun’er. The system didn’t know when he was killed, so it would be better to remind him as soon as possible so that he could be more cautious.
”Youyou, where have you been?” Concubine Ru lowered her head to embroider. When she looked up, she didn’t see the little girl, so she shouted and then came out to look for her.
”Youyou is here.” Ji Jinyou turned around and answered.
Concubine Ru came over and saw the Sixth Prince standing at the gate of the courtyard. She hurriedly greeted him and said, “Sixth Prince, is there anything I can do for you?”
The Sixth Prince returned the greeting according to the rules and explained his purpose.
When Concubine Ru heard that he was coming to pick Youyou up to go to the Imperial Noble Concubine’s Palace, she felt puzzled.
In the past, the Sixth Prince would occasionally see Youyou, but he would never ask about her. Why did he come specially to pick her up today?
The Sixth Prince remembered that when he was in Hibiscus Palace, the Imperial Noble Consort said that Concubine Ru could not hear the conversation between Xiaojiu and System, so he smiled and lied, “My mother got two pieces of fabric and said she wanted to make some clothes for Xiaojiu. She originally sent Xiaoba to pick her up, but Xiaoba was too lazy to move because of the hot weather, so my mother sent me here.”
This was not entirely a lie, because when he came out, the Imperial Noble Consort was choosing fabric for Xiaojiu, and she was indeed going to make new clothes for her.
However, Xiao Ba was eager to come, but the Imperial Noble Consort said that she came too frequently and would arouse suspicion, so she stopped her.
Upon hearing this, Concubine Ru recalled the way the Imperial Noble Consort had held Xiaojiu in her arms and was reluctant to let go, and she felt relieved and said with a smile, “Thank you, Imperial Noble Consort, for troubling Your Highness the Sixth Prince.”
But she did not agree right away. Instead, she squatted down, hugged Youyou and asked, “Youyou, are you tired? Do you want to go to the Imperial Noble Consort’s Palace with your Sixth Brother?”
Ji Jinyou stuffed the candy in her hand into Concubine Ru’s hand and nodded her head: “Youyou, go play with Sixth Brother.”
Concubine Ru agreed, stood up, and handed Xiaojiu’s hand to Jinxing who followed beside her, and asked Jinxing to go with her.
The three of them went out together, and after walking for a while, the Sixth Prince discovered that his fat sister’s short legs moved too slowly. For every one he took, she had to take four or five steps to catch up.
He bent down, picked the person up, and put her directly on his shoulders, “Sixth brother will carry you.”
The Sixth Prince was tall and strong. Ji Jinyou was startled when she was lifted up suddenly. She grabbed his hair bun tightly with her two small hands, afraid that she would fall down.
Jin Xing was also very frightened and quickly stretched out her arms to protect her.
Although the little girl looked small, her two chubby hands were quite strong. The Sixth Prince’s hair were pulled by her so hard that he grimaced: “Little Nine, let go. You are going to pull Sixth Brother bald.”
Ji Jinyou hurriedly let go, but sitting so high up, she felt uneasy without holding anything in her hands. In a panic, she grabbed the Sixth Prince’s ear again, causing the Sixth Prince to wail, “Xiaojiu, don’t scratch my ears with your nails.”
Jin Xing was trying to hold back her laughter. The little princess’s hands were very strong, and it was extremely painful when she scratched someone.
Ji Jinyou sighed helplessly: “Youyou go by yourself.”
The Sixth Prince had no choice but to put the person down, hold her little hand, and slowly move forward at her pace.
After moving for a long time, they finally reached the vicinity of the Imperial Garden. The chubby girl pulled her hand away from him and ran towards the Imperial Garden.
Jin Xing didn’t know what she was doing, so she hurriedly followed: “Princess, please slow down.”
”It’s so hard to raise a child.” The Sixth Prince thought that Xiaojiu was just a playful child, so he stood there with his hands on his hips and sighed.
He sighed twice, followed her, and said to himself: “Okay, since you saved your sixth brother, I will play with you.”
Ji Jinyou ran all the way to the row of weeping willows beside the lotus pond, stood on tiptoe, and stretched out her little hands to reach the willow branches.
The willow branches were already much taller than Youyou, and swayed in the wind. The little girl grabbed at it in the air with her chubby little hands, but couldn’t reach it after a long time.
Knowing that the little princess liked to do everything by herself, Jin Xing did not help her fold it, but picked up the little girl.
Ji Jinyou grabbed a willow branch and used her two small hands to break off a small section: “Youyou, you’ve done it.”
Jin Xing then put the little girl back on the ground.
Ji Jinyou took the willow branch and ran to the Sixth Prince who was standing not far away. She held it high and handed it to him: “Sixth brother, this is for you.”
Others gave flowers, but his silly sister gave him a tree branch. The Sixth Prince couldn’t help laughing.
But to coax a child, you have to follow her.
The Sixth Prince took it with a smile, and said in an exaggerated tone: “Wow, our Little Nine is so good, she even remembers to give Sixth Brother a branch.”
Listening to that mean voice, Ji Jinyou sighed. Oh well, it’s coming again.
She tried to say Liu Yuner, but it was useless, she couldn’t say it.
She had no choice but to stretch out her little hand, pointing at the willow branch in the Sixth Prince’s hand, and then pointing at the clouds floating in the sky.
Prince Liu[2]Six looked at what he had in his hands, then looked up at the sky, not understanding, “You want Sixth Brother to throw this willow branch into the sky?”
As he said that, he uttered a “Hey!”, raised his hand and threw it into the air, then caught it, and proudly took credit for it: “Is that so?”
Ji Jinyou: “…” This Sixth Brother is probably really stupid.
Jin Xing knew her young princess better. She squatted down, pointed at the willow branch that the Sixth Prince was shaking in his hand, and asked, “Princess, are you talking about the willow branch[3]willow=Liu, indicating surname of Yuner?”
Ji Jinyou nodded her head.
The Sixth Prince was stunned and stopped shaking the willow branches.
Jin Xing pointed at the white cloud in the sky again: “Cloud[4]Cloud=Yun?”
Ji Jinyou nodded and reached out to give Jin Xing a big hug.
Now the Sixth Prince finally reacted. The short and stout little girl, so young, actually remembered to remind him to pay attention to Liu Yuner.
The hole in the Sixth Prince’s heart that had been pierced by Liu Yun’er was instantly healed. Tears welled up in his eyes. He squatted down and hugged the little girl tightly in his arms, his voice choking with sobs: “Xiaojiu, from now on, Sixth Brother will work like a cow and a horse for you and protect you for the rest of your life.”
Ji Jinyou was almost strangled to death, and complained to the system: [System, do you think my sixth brother is not in a good mind? Why did he suddenly go crazy? ]
