Chapter 11: Delight
Xiao Miaomiao gently lifted the thin blanket covering Li Jingcheng, carefully placing it on the other side, afraid of soiling it.
Since only the lower half of his body needed to be exposed, Li Jingcheng’s upper body clothing didn’t need to be removed.
As Xiao Miaomiao drew closer, she unexpectedly noticed that Li Jingcheng had no unpleasant odor on his body. Instead, he emitted a faint, elegant sandalwood fragrance, making her feel pleasant and comfortable, completely devoid of any unpleasant sensations.
However, a wave of worry surged through Xiao Miaomiao’s heart: Could Li Jingcheng really endure it? Although she had already fed him the medication prescribed by the doctor, he was still in a vegetative state. Would he be able to proceed smoothly?
If it failed, wouldn’t her meticulously crafted plan of having a baby and living a carefree life be shattered?
In that case, would she still be able to rely on the Li family to enjoy a luxurious life as a wealthy wife? She loved money, but she only pursued what she deserved, and she would never engage in any deceitful or fraudulent activities.
If Li Jingcheng truly couldn’t do it, then going out and secretly having a child with another man and claiming it was Li Jingcheng’s, she simply couldn’t bring herself to do such a thing!
However, she also didn’t want any changes in her marriage. After all, she was already on her second marriage and absolutely didn’t want to go through another divorce and enter a third marriage.
Therefore, with a glimmer of hope, Xiao Miaomiao decided to personally check if Li Jingcheng possessed the necessary capabilities.
Xiao Miaomiao’s hands were soft as if they had no bones, and her skin was as white and delicate as silk.
People often say that hands are a woman’s second face, and Xiao Miaomiao had painstakingly taken care of her hands.
Whether it was a simple ring, a beautiful bracelet, or a luxurious necklace, they would inevitably attract attention.
Just now, to avoid potentially harming Li Jingcheng later, Xiao Miaomiao carefully removed the necklace she was wearing and the ten-carat giant diamond ring given to her by Li Jingcheng’s mother-in-law.
As it was her first attempt at such a thing, Xiao Miaomiao felt somewhat shy and nervous, even hesitant to look down and observe carefully. She simply looked straight ahead, relying entirely on her senses to explore and search for her target.
A pair of white, tender little hands, as delicate and smooth as newly bloomed petals, slowly moved and explored Li Jingcheng’s sturdy body. Those hands trembled slightly, as if revealing the shyness and anxiety within their owner.
Each slight touch caused the little hands to involuntarily twitch, but when she thought about Li Jingcheng’s unconscious state, the tension in her heart seemed to ease slightly.
Finally, after some exploration and verification, a blush like an evening sunset spread across Xiao Miaomiao’s pretty face, along with an indescribable sense of relief. Li Jingcheng’s reproductive ability remained intact!
She gently patted her chest, comforting herself: “As long as I can get pregnant…”
With a child, she believed her life would be filled with comfort and happiness, allowing her to enjoy a life of ease and abundance. More importantly, she would have the opportunity to experience the joy and happiness of being a mother firsthand.
After silently encouraging herself, Xiao Miaomiao overcame her inner awkwardness and shyness, straddling Li Jingcheng. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and prepared to face whatever might happen next.
Xiao Miaomiao had never had a boyfriend before. She met Hong Wenbin through an arranged marriage and decided to marry him after only one meeting. Although they didn’t have much affection for each other beforehand, Xiao Miaomiao was serious about being with Hong Wenbin and wanted to live a good life with him.
Of course, it was mostly a matter of mutual benefit, but if Hong Wenbin truly had someone he liked, he could simply ask for a divorce. She wasn’t dependent on him. She couldn’t believe he was actually keeping a mistress behind her back, it was an insult to her, it disgusted her.
Therefore, Xiao Miaomiao refused her cousin’s plan to ruin Hong Wenbin’s company. Instead, she directly demanded half of his assets.
Xiao Miaomiao was naturally beautiful, with a face like a celestial being, yet after a year of marriage, she remained pure and untouched, guarding her virtue like a precious jewel.
She thought to herself: Should I be grateful that I haven’t been tainted by that disgusting man, Hong Wenbin, or should I mock myself for losing to a white lotus who is far less attractive than me?
Therefore, when it came to matters of love and intimacy, Xiao Miaomiao was completely clueless, having no idea how to please a man. Fortunately, Li Jingcheng was now a completely unconscious vegetable, so she didn’t have to worry about making a fool of herself.
Having never experienced love and intimacy, her first attempt was naturally quite difficult. Despite the excruciating pain, out of shyness, Xiao Miaomiao gritted her teeth and endured without making a sound.
Thankfully, the pain subsided somewhat later, and Xiao Miaomiao finally felt a little relieved. She tightly bit her lip, trying not to think about what had just happened. This way, the awkwardness also eased considerably.
She couldn’t believe that she, a dignified and beautiful lady from a prominent family, would one day do something so bold, and the object of her actions was an immobile vegetable. At this moment, Xiao Miaomiao couldn’t help but feel a sense of shame that she couldn’t face anyone else.
Xiao Miaomiao kept telling herself that all of this was for the sake of having a child, for carrying on the Li family line, and for her own future prosperity.
She tried to brainwash herself, trying to make herself believe that these sacrifices were worthwhile. Although this self-comfort was somewhat ridiculous, at least it gave her some solace and amusement in this difficult process.
The only advantage was that she had complete control.
She could completely stop this behavior at any time, but to get pregnant as soon as possible, Xiao Miaomiao gritted her teeth and persevered, continuing until Li Jingcheng finished. By this time, Xiao Miaomiao was exhausted. She lay powerlessly on top of Li Jingcheng, as if she had lost all her strength.
Xiao Miaomiao hadn’t expected that even though Li Jingcheng was in a vegetative state, his body was still so strong, even robust.
Perhaps that was why he was hailed as a god-like being.
It was unknown if it was due to the special care of the nurses hired by the Li family, but apart from remaining unconscious, Li Jingcheng seemed to have received excellent care. His body wasn’t as thin and frail as Xiao Miaomiao had imagined, but rather muscular and firm.
This discovery made Xiao Miaomiao secretly grateful, as it was an unexpected bonus for her.
When Xiao Miaomiao regained some strength, she took the clothes she had changed into and went to the bathroom to shower. When she came out, she also brought a basin with hot water and a towel, which she was going to use to wash Li Jingcheng.
After cleaning up, Xiao Miaomiao lay back down on the bed to sleep. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, her face filled with regret.
“I forgot to tell the chef to make chicken soup tomorrow. I heard it’s good for replenishing the body. Oh well, it’s too greasy to drink in the morning. The chef can make it for lunch, and for dinner too.” Xiao Miaomiao said, then closed her eyes and fell back asleep.
On the other side, Ouyang Xuan was quite worried about whether Xiao Miaomiao and her son could proceed smoothly.
“Do you think Miaomiao and Jingcheng can really do it? After all, Jingcheng’s condition…” Ouyang Xuan felt like she was going crazy with worry.
“If Jingcheng had left behind a child or two, I wouldn’t have to worry about the Li family dying out. Now, I can only place my hopes on Miaomiao.” Ouyang Xuan looked at Li Chen, who was still leisurely reading a book, and couldn’t help but get angry.
