Chapter 27: Jealousy

Lu Yunshang opened her eyes, the smell of disinfectant filling her nostrils.

She raised her hand to rub her head, but found an IV needle in her hand.

“Don’t move, Miss Lu,” Su Qiyi came over to stop her. “If it swells, we’ll have to stick you again.”

Tang Tang rushed to Lu Yunshang’s side. “Yunshang, you’re awake! That’s great. You scared me to death. Why did you faint?”

“What happened to her?” Fu Hanzhou asked Su Qiyi.

“You finish your drip first. I have something to handle in the inpatient department.”

After Su Qiyi left, Lu Yunshang immediately asked Fu Hanzhou，”Why are you here?”

Wasn’t he with Xiao Nianzhen?

Fu Hanzhou was a little unhappy and didn’t answer.

Tang Tang quickly explained, “Thanks to Fu Shao, otherwise, I wouldn’t know how to get you to the hospital.”

“You went to my house?” Lu Yunshang continued to ask.

“Yes,” Fu Hanzhou responded impatiently.

“Why go to my house? Did you have something to do?”

“Nothing,” Fu Hanzhou thought quickly, searching for an excuse.

Suddenly, he had an idea. “My grandfather’s birthday is in a few days. I just wanted to ask if you want to go back to the old house.”

“Grandfather asked you to ask me?” Lu Yunshang was puzzled.

“Yes,” Fu Hanzhou was very nervous.

Lu Yunshang thought for a moment. “Please tell Grandfather for me that I’m not going.”

Fu Hanzhou had just been making it up, and hearing Lu Yunshang’s reply, he relaxed. “I’ll go outside for a smoke.”

“Fu Shao,” Lu Yunshang stopped him. “It’s getting late. Go back. We’ll take a taxi home after the drip. Thank you, Fu Shao, for tonight.”

Tang Tang left the emergency room and immediately called Huang Siyuan.

She asked him to tell Fu Changqing that Yunshang fainted at home while showering and was now in the hospital, then shared the hospital address with Huang Siyuan, asking him to forward it to Fu Changqing.

Ten minutes later, Fu Changqing’s tall figure appeared in the emergency room.

Tang Tang didn’t know how he managed to get there so quickly, but she thought, For this alone, this man is worthy of Yunshang’s trust.

Fu Changqing looked worried. “No, you can’t stay here. I’ll call Bogen right now and ask him to arrange a ward for you. We’ll transfer you to his hospital for a thorough examination.”

Fu Changqing nodded and carefully noted it down.

“My surname is Tang, like the Tang Dynasty, and my given name is Tang, like the Chinese word for ‘Chinese flowering crabapple’,” Tang Tang explained.

“Miss Lu, are you feeling better?” Su Qiyi suddenly walked over.

As soon as Fu Changqing saw Su Qiyi, his expression turned cold.

“Mr. Fu, why are you here?” Su Qiyi found it strange. “Where’s Hanzhou？Did he go back?”

Fu Changqing frowned. “Is my cousin here too?”

Su Qiyi nodded. “He sent Miss Lu to the hospital. We owe him one today.”

Seeing Fu Changqing’s unhappy expression, Lu Yunshang quickly explained. “He came to ask if I wanted to go back to the old house for Grandfather’s birthday banquet. I told him I wasn’t going.”

“Yes, yes,” Tang Tang quickly helped explain. “Yunshang asked Fu Shao to go back after she woke up. He’s already gone.”

“Then I’ll take you back. I need to go home too,” Su Qiyi said.

Fu Changqing looked around the emergency room.

There were many admiring patients and nurses, their eyes on him, some whispering and giggling.

Lu Yunshang also saw those envious glances and felt embarrassed. “Mr. Fu, you should go ahead. Su Shao, you should go home too. I’ll take a taxi home later. Tang Tang is with me.”

Fu Changqing remained silent but didn’t leave, standing motionless.

Su Qiyi also stood there, smiling at him.

“Changqing, why are you here?” Shen Yue came running, her high heels clicking.

Seeing Lu Yunshang lying on the bed, a hint of annoyance flashed in her eyes, but she quickly suppressed it.

“What’s wrong with Miss Lu? Are you feeling unwell?”

Lu Yunshang forced a smile. “Thank you for your concern, Miss Shen. I’m fine.”

“That’s good. Miss Lu looks well. There shouldn’t be any major problems.”

Hearing these sarcastic words, Tang Tang immediately disliked Shen Yue. “That’s not right. Looking good doesn’t mean you’re healthy. Besides, who wants to go to the hospital for no reason?”

Lu Yunshang looked at Shen Yue’s hand, a pang of sadness rising in her heart.

Tang Tang gritted her teeth in anger. A high-level white lotus.

Thinking this, she pulled over a chair. “Mr. Fu, please sit down and wait. We’ll need you to send us home later.”
