After Feeding the Lilliputian Kingdom, I Got Rich Through Interdimensional Trading Chapter 10: Feeding the Little People

After a light-hearted lunch with her parents, Yun Zhen felt much more at ease.

She helped clean the table and wash the dishes, then took the small plate of food she had set aside and returned to her study to feed the little people.

Inside the bookshelf, Pei Hao had just returned from scouting and was feeling a bit tired and hungry. When he saw the plate of food, which was as big as a dining table, he couldn’t help but exclaim, “Isn’t this too much? I can’t possibly finish all of this—it could probably feed six or seven adults!”

Yun Zhen didn’t think much of it. “It doesn’t matter if you can’t finish it. What’s important is that you get a balanced diet. You’re still recovering from your injuries, so eating more will help you regain your strength.”

Although they had only been interacting for less than a day, Pei Hao had already noticed that the goddess was very generous. Hearing her response, he didn’t argue further and sat down to eat.

He first took a piece of the large, white, translucent food that was about the size of a rugby ball and placed it on his plate. He scooped up a spoonful and tasted it.

After chewing slightly, he found that it didn’t have much flavor—just a faint sweetness similar to rice. He swallowed and then tried a few other dishes that looked familiar but not quite the same. After tasting them, he realized they were indeed dishes like Mapo Tofu, Sweet and Sour Ribs, Steamed Fish, and Oyster Sauce Lettuce.

Finally, his eyes landed on the last item at the edge of the plate. It was a large, square piece, semi-translucent with a speckled yellow skin on one side and mostly white flesh.

He cut off a small piece and took a bite, only to find his mouth filled with juice, sweet and refreshing, soothing his slightly inflamed throat and lungs. The sensation was so satisfying that it made him feel completely at ease.

This was a pear!

The slice he had cut off was already so large—how massive must the whole fruit be?

Reflecting on the gigantic steamed bun he had eaten that morning and the ceramic cup now serving as a temporary shelter, Pei Hao began to have many questions and suspicions.

Were all the foods from the celestial realm this large because the goddess had used her powers to enhance them? Or could it be that the goddess herself was a giant, like Pangu, the mythological creator of the world?

Pangu, who created the heavens and earth, transformed into mountains, rivers, the sun, and the moon—his power was immense, and he was the ancestor of all things.

Though the goddess could control the weather and provide blessings, her abilities seemed somewhat limited. The food and items she provided, apart from their enormous size, didn’t possess any other magical qualities.

This sense of normalcy amidst the extraordinary gave him an unexpected feeling of safety.

Of course, their time together had been short—there might be much more he had yet to discover.

As Pei Hao pondered these thoughts, he gradually let go of his worries and immersed himself in the meal.

This lunch was truly delicious! The cooking was on par with that of a five-star chef.

After half a month, he was finally able to enjoy a proper home-cooked meal. The combination of comfort and longing stirred a deep emotional response in him. He thought of his family, scattered and far away—were they safe?

In these troubled times, merely staying alive was a great blessing. But reuniting with his family would require extraordinary effort.

After finishing his meal, Pei Hao cleaned up the dishes. He took a large piece of gauze from the storage room and covered the remaining food, intending to save it for dinner.

He always ate by transferring food from the “large plate” to his own dishes, maintaining a neat and hygienic appearance. The leftover food looked untouched, without any mess or waste.

Given the scarcity of food and clean water, Pei Hao couldn’t afford to be wasteful. He also didn’t want to be a burden to the goddess with his pickiness.

But Yun Zhen wasn’t keen on the idea of him eating leftovers, so she promptly removed the small plate.

“The weather is humid and cool, so food spoils quickly. Plus, the mountain is full of mosquitoes, flies, and rodents, which could spread bacteria and viruses, making you sick again. With me here, you don’t need to be so frugal. Fresh food and water are plentiful—just eat as much as you like!”

To prevent the “Innate Pet Slayer Physique” from kicking in, Yun Zhen was extremely vigilant, avoiding anything that could harm the little people.

Pei Hao, unaware of the goddess’s concerns, was touched and a bit embarrassed. “Thank you for your care, but I’m ashamed to admit that I don’t have anything to offer you in return. I’m empty-handed and unable to repay your kindness.”

He continued, “This afternoon, I plan to check the mountain peak. If I can find a communication tower, I’ll try to repair it. That way, I might be able to contact my family and learn more about the situation outside.”

Yun Zhen understood his desire for a family reunion and immediately pulled up the system map to help him search.

After carefully examining the area, she found that there was indeed a tall iron tower on the mountain peak, although its design was different from the communication towers she was familiar with. It had a sleek, modern look, full of technological sophistication.

Yun Zhen described the tower’s appearance and location to Pei Hao, who nodded enthusiastically. “Yes, that’s the communication tower! Can you describe its exact location? I’ll head over right away to see if I can repair it.”

He hurriedly fetched a small, lightweight toolbox from the speedboat, grabbed the ladder Yun Zhen had given him, and prepared to set off immediately.

Yun Zhen glanced around her study and then picked up a palm-sized teacup tray from her desk. It seemed suitable, so she placed it inside the bookshelf, setting it down in the empty space next to Pei Hao.

“Hop on, and I’ll take you there,” she offered.

Pei Hao looked at the enamel tray that had descended from the sky, examining it with curiosity before climbing onto it with his toolbox and ladder. He sat in the center, his posture upright and his back straight, as if he were attending an important meeting rather than going to repair a communication tower.

Yun Zhen couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight. She carefully lifted the tray and began to move it steadily, guided by the system’s map navigation, though Pei Hao couldn’t hear the AI voice announcing directions.

Inside the tiny world, Pei Hao felt as though he was flying!

Although he had flown on planes, airships, and hovercrafts countless times before, this experience was unlike any of those.

A cool, moist breeze brushed against his face, and the towering Dragon Mountain stretched out beneath him. At that moment, he felt like an immortal ascending to the heavens, floating gracefully through the boundless sky.

The blue sky and white clouds seemed almost within reach, and the vast world lay open for him to explore!

His heart pounded with excitement, and a sense of awe surged within his chest.

The goddess’s power was truly remarkable! He had underestimated her before.

For the little people, reaching the mountain peak might have taken several hours of climbing, but with Yun Zhen’s help, Pei Hao arrived in about three minutes.

As the enamel tray descended near the communication tower, Pei Hao still seemed a bit dazed, like a child who hadn’t had enough fun. His expression was one of dazed contentment, clearly having enjoyed the thrill of high-altitude flight.

Yun Zhen, amused by his reaction, gently reminded him, “Go ahead and get to work. I’ll come back to pick you up before dinner.”

Pei Hao thanked her profusely, then headed toward the communication tower with his toolbox and ladder.

Yun Zhen, meanwhile, stretched lazily, then went over to her desk, ready to brainstorm ideas for her next novel.
