Chapter 38: Apology
“Wei Xiaojia, can we talk about the matter of hitting someone first?” Yan Su’s eyes towards Wei Xiaojia were very gentle, and her tone of inquiry had no hint of coercion.
Although Wei Xiaojia was aggrieved and angry, he still nodded obediently and sensibly.
Yan Su patted his little head, very satisfied. The little darling she liked was different from ordinary children.
“Do you know that hitting someone is wrong? And often, hitting someone doesn’t solve the problem, but makes it worse?”
The little guy was sensible, obedient, and particularly smart. Yan Su believed he could understand.
Wei Xiaojia could indeed understand, and knew this principle, but he was too angry and couldn’t help it.
Yan Su: “The director knows the grievances and anger in your heart, but let’s discuss the matter on its merits. It was indeed wrong to hit someone first, and you also injured a classmate. So, regarding the matter of hitting someone, do you need to apologize to He Miaozhuang and compensate for medical expenses?”
Wei Xiaojia cried with grievance, tears falling down, shaking his little hand to wipe away his tears, and nodded sullenly.
Yan Su patted him: “Go and apologize to He Miaozhuang.”
The little guy cried out, sobbing and hiccuping as he went to apologize.
Xu Duo and Fan Lianlian couldn’t bear to watch anymore and went to look at Zhuo Le. She still had a calm face, as if she was watching someone else’s business.
Shanda Wang felt sorry for Wei Xiaojia and stayed by his side, giving him courage.
“I’m sorry, He Miaozhuang, I shouldn’t have hit you.”
The little person cried and sobbed, his clothes were wet.
Silently, it was more heartbreaking than He Miaozhuang’s dry howling.
“Bah, uneducated little darling, a word of apology…”
“Slap…”
With a loud slap, everyone was quiet.
Zhuo Le indifferently withdrew her hand and looked coldly at Xia Xiuju: “If you can’t speak human language, shut your stinky mouth.”
Except for Xia Xiuju, the other women in the room inexplicably felt good. This old woman’s words were indeed annoying.
Zhuo Le’s silent slapping also looked a bit handsome, but, hitting someone at the slightest disagreement was too familiar.
This was a single line inheritance. The proverb that there must be a son like his mother still made sense.
Xia Xiuju’s mouth was numb from the slap, and she couldn’t open her mouth for a long time. The fat on her body trembled with anger.
Zhuo Le glanced at her coldly: “Son, continue.”
Wei Xiaojia was inexplicably not so aggrieved: “He Miaozhuang, can you forgive me?”
He Miaozhuang was frightened by Zhuo Le’s slap and nodded timidly.
Wei Xiaojia silently returned to Zhuo Le’s side, nestled in her arms, and secretly wiped his snot.
Zhuo Le…
Yan Su directly ignored the part where Zhuo Le hit someone: “Okay, let’s put the matter of hitting someone behind us. Teacher Mengmeng, you will accompany He Miaozhuang to the hospital to see the injury later, and bring back all the expense slips and give them to Wei Xiaojia’s mother.”
Teacher Mengmeng nodded quickly.
Yan Su: “He Miaozhuang, now let’s talk about your matter of scolding people. It’s wrong to scold people, do you know that?”
Little friend He Miaozhuang had a foolishly blank look on his face. He didn’t know.
Yan Su…
Very good, not only thedarling had to be taught, but the adults also had to be taught.
“Since you don’t know, then you have to remember it well. It’s wrong to scold people. You need to apologize to Wei Xiaojia, go.”
He Miaozhuang was a spoiled brat, and immediately went to look at the mountain behind him.
His mountain was still shaking. The littledarling didn’t know why it was shaking, but since his grandma didn’t speak, he felt that the mountain had collapsed by more than half.
He secretly glanced at Zhuo Le. This beautiful auntie didn’t have a fierce expression, nor did she scold people as loudly as his grandma. Even hitting someone was light and not scary, but he was afraid of her.
Without the mountain, he could only carry it himself. He moved his thin, short legs, took two steps forward, and timidly said sorry.
Wei Xiaojia snorted and ignored him.
Yan Su asked: “Wei Xiaojia, do you want to forgive He Miaozhuang?”
“No.” Wei Xiaojia’s voice was muffled, but very decisive.
Yan Su looked at Zhuo Le, who had a smile on her face as she stroked Wei Xiaojia’s head: “I support whatever my son does.”
Yan Su pursed her lips, thinking that she was indeed an irresponsible mother. Oh well.
“Okay, let’s consider this matter closed. Teacher Mengmeng, please take He Miaozhuang to the hospital and send him home. Tell his parents to come to my office tomorrow.”
“Okay,” Teacher Mengmeng replied, glancing at Xia Xiuju. The old lady was being too quiet, and shaking too much. Was she really scared by that slap?
“Grandma Zhuang, let’s go to the hospital, shall we?”
Xia Xiuju didn’t move or speak, her eyes only becoming more fierce. Teacher Mengmeng felt a little helpless.
Zhuo Le kindly suggested, “She’s old and not in good health. Please help her, teacher.”
Teacher Mengmeng was skeptical, but she helped Xia Xiuju up. The unreasonable old lady was surprisingly compliant.
She took her away with trepidation.
Yan Su plopped down, slumping unceremoniously in the chair, without a trace of her usual aloofness.
“Xiaojia, come to Auntie.”
Wei Xiaojia had stopped crying, but his little face was still red, and he occasionally sobbed with grievance.
He nestled obediently in Yan Su’s arms.
Yan Su felt sorry for him: “Poor thing, you’re just too silly. If someone bullies you in the future, don’t be foolish and leave evidence. When we beat people, we have to do it secretly, understand?”
Everyone… Was that something a kindergarten principal should say?
Don’t poison the flowers of the motherland!
Yan Su didn’t care. After comforting Wei Xiaojia, she glanced at Zhuo Le: “Let’s go shopping together this weekend. I’ll buy Xiaojia some gifts to soothe his wounded little heart.”
Zhuo Le smiled brightly: “Thank you, rich sister! Rich sister is so generous! Son, quickly thank your rich auntie.”
Wei Xiaojia: “Thank you, rich auntie.”
Yan Su bared her teeth. Hearing the words “rich woman” from the mother and son wasn’t so jarring. On the contrary, she felt quite proud, and she glared at Zhuo Le with a raised corner of her mouth: “You’ve spoiled a perfectly good child.”
Zhuo Le chuckled, thinking that she didn’t know how badly she had spoiled him herself.
On the way back, Xu Duo and Fan Lianlian frequently looked at Zhuo Le. They didn’t expect her to have such a good relationship with the principal, and the principal seemed different from what they had thought.
More importantly, her way of handling things seemed different from ordinary people. When she took action, she was decisive and efficient.
Zhuo Le was also different from what they had thought.
Zhuo Le: “Let me treat you to dinner. Today, Quanquan and Limao were Xiaojia’s comrades-in-arms, so I have to thank them properly.”
The two quickly waved their hands: “No need, it’s not a big deal.”
“Yeah, you don’t have to take it to heart. Children should help each other.
Besides, if we don’t go back, our families will worry.”
Zhuo Le thought for a moment: “Then I’ll just treat Quanquan and Limao. You go home and let them know you’re safe. After dinner, I’ll take the two children home safely.”
The two still wanted to refuse, but Zhuo Le persuaded them and kept them.
“Little comrades, is there anything you want to eat or play? Today, all expenses will be paid by Auntie. Thank you for taking care of Xiaojia and for your loyalty. Don’t be polite with Auntie.”
Wei Xiaojia had already recovered and was excitedly greeting his little friends.
The two little cubs were very happy and raised their hands to say what they wanted, especially things they usually couldn’t get from their parents.
Zhuo Le took the three children and one dog to the mall.
They ate delicious food, bought small gifts, and even went to the amusement park for a round.
Before nine o’clock, Zhuo Le handed them over to their parents.
Under the dim streetlights, Wei Xiaojia rarely acted spoiled and asked his mother to carry him.
Zhuo Le hugged her good son and patted his back gently.
She didn’t know what to say about Wei Tianxia.
The little guy had already decided that his father was gone, but he still held onto a hope that he knew was unrealistic.
He missed his father.
She missed him too. Wei Tianxia, you better come back soon.
