The soft, smooth touch of that delicate hand left an indelible impression.
Gu Si’s entire body instantly tensed. He could feel an electrifying sensation shooting from his chest and spreading through his limbs, leaving him completely numb!
System Notification: Gu Si’s favorability +1.
Ning Qingyan quickly withdrew her “guilty” hand and jumped away, while Gu Si’s long, narrow phoenix eyes turned red at the corners. His gaze was filled with embarrassment and shock as he stared at Ning Qingyan’s uncharacteristically beautiful face, unable to utter a single word.
After a long, awkward silence, he finally forced out, “Ning Qingyan! Can’t you be a bit more reserved?”
Ning Qingyan coughed and sheepishly retorted,
“We’re both boys! How can you use the word ‘reserved’ for boys? Why are you acting so prissy? Show some backbone!”
Her audacious tone almost made Gu Si laugh out of anger. He took a deep breath to suppress the strange tingling in his chest and replied in a mischievous tone,
“Fine, we’re both boys, right? Then let me touch you back!”
He raised his hand to grab her, but Ning Qingyan, quick on her feet, darted behind Wen Shijin and pleaded, “Brother, save me!”
Wen Shijin smiled indulgently, shielding her behind him as he softly said, “Alright.”
The scene began to shift into something bizarre, resembling a game of tag where three people played eagle, chicken, and protector.
After much laughter, the group stopped their playful antics and prepared to explore other cabins for clues. Just as they were about to leave, the program director’s voice came through their earpieces:
“Sheng Mingzhu OUT. Sheng Mingzhu OUT. Sheng Mingzhu OUT.
Xu Ruanruan OUT. Xu Ruanruan OUT. Xu Ruanruan OUT.”
The male contestants frowned in confusion. How did two people suddenly get eliminated? Did they not hear the whistle and escape? Even if they hid or split up, how could both get out simultaneously?
Meanwhile, Sheng Mingzhu, who was straddling Xu Ruanruan and holding her torn nametag, was flabbergasted. Hearing the announcement, she protested in disbelief:
“I tore Xu Ruanruan’s nametag! It’s fine for her to be eliminated, but why me too? Didn’t your note say I’m a mole? I’m allowed to tear nametags without finishing the antidote! And no one else saw it happen. Why am I out?!”
The chaos continues as alliances shift, eliminations unfold, and CP fans go wild over every interaction. In this high-stakes game of strategy, trust, and heart-pounding chases, only one question remains: Who will emerge victorious?
