Chapter 101 Your Wife is So Shy!
Lu Yunting glanced at her pleading face, unmoved.
He walked into the room and placed the room card on the table.
“I have something to do, go have fun yourself.” He said, striding out of the room.
He did have something to do. If it weren’t for Ouyang Shasha saying she couldn’t find her room and didn’t like being led by the staff, insisting on dragging him along, he would have already been in a meeting with several senior executives.
Ouyang Shasha watched his hurried back, without a trace of lingering, the anticipation in her eyes instantly cooling down.
She slowly walked to the sofa and took out a small transparent bottle from her bag, containing two white pills.
Ouyang Shasha raised her hand and gently shook it towards the sunlight, the pills inside also swaying.
A cold smile curled on her lips, her eyes gradually becoming hot,
“Lu Yunting, with this good thing, you will eventually ‘happily’ play with me.”
—
After resting, Su Yiren, guided by Yan Fei, came to the hotel kitchen.
This time, in addition to her, the descendant of the Chef God, Lu’s Group also invited several well-known chefs in China, making the scene unprecedentedly grand.
Hearing that a disciple of the Chef God was coming, the chefs were both excited and deeply dissatisfied.
If the Chef God himself had come, they might have respectfully called him “senior,” but they heard that his disciple was just a young girl.
Even if she was the Chef God’s closed disciple, how could her culinary skills surpass them, chefs with 20 to 30 years of experience?
Until Su Yiren walked into the kitchen, their thoughts became even more certain.
They didn’t expect the Chef God’s descendant to be such a young and beautiful girl!
These delicate hands, with fair and smooth skin, could be broken by a puff of air, probably wouldn’t even be able to touch the kitchen grease, right?
How could she cook?
Su Yiren’s gaze swept across the room, understanding a bit from the doubtful looks of everyone.
She smiled slightly and greeted everyone.
After all, everyone present was a famous chef, even if they were dissatisfied with Su Yiren in their hearts, they were still very polite on the surface.
As the disciple of the Chef God, Su Yiren was designated as the main chef for this banquet.
She had already reviewed the menu and discussed adjustments to several dishes with the other chefs, and the attitude of everyone present finally changed slightly.
It turned out that she wasn’t a clueless little girl at all; on the contrary, some of her opinions were even considered feasible by them.
“The leaders and colleagues from Lu’s Group’s overseas department will also be attending this time, so we need to consider their preferences.” Su Yiren took out another menu.
“This menu is prepared by me, and I also got the personnel list and personal preferences of the overseas department. I will adjust the dishes according to the guests at each table. If you have any suggestions, we can discuss them now and modify the plan in time.”
Everyone nodded repeatedly. They had actually thought of this, but with so many different tastes, no one wanted to put in the effort to make another menu.
Just for this, Su Yiren was indeed a good chef.
With the temporary addition of the menu, many semi-finished products needed to be prepared the day before. Like this, Su Yiren and the other chefs worked hard for an afternoon.
When she left the kitchen, everyone greeted her with smiles, their attitude a 180-degree turn from when she arrived.
It was already dark, but the lobby of the hotel was brightly lit.
Looking from afar, a stage had been set up on the beach outside the hotel, a bonfire lit, and lively dance music played along with it.
Su Yiren saw that there weren’t many people there, and her feet unconsciously walked towards the beach.
She stood in a place where the light couldn’t reach, quietly watching the young men and women singing and dancing by the bonfire, a smile unconsciously curling on her lips.
If only she could be as happy as them every day.
Her gaze swept across the crowd, suddenly stopping on a figure.
Su Yiren gently pursed her lips, her gaze lingering on him for a few seconds.
Lu Yunting was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, black casual trousers, with one hand in his pocket, his entire back straight and thin.
He was like a gun stuck in the sand, standing straight, out of place with the atmosphere of the scene.
In her impression, he always seemed to wear dark clothes, often dressing himself up to look old.
So, when she specially customized clothes for him, she added many details to these dark colors, making the whole outfit less dull.
At first, he still communicated with her through his assistant, feeling that the suit style didn’t look serious enough. Until everyone around him praised his clothing style and taste, he slowly accepted it, and later only wore what she designed.
He was wearing the same summer outfit from last year today. She didn’t expect him to bring it out again.
Su Yiren glanced at him faintly, withdrew her gaze, and turned around to walk towards the hotel along the dim path.
However, just a few steps away, a foreigner walked towards her. Su Yiren felt that he looked familiar, but couldn’t remember where she had seen him, so she lowered her eyes and stepped aside to let him pass.
But the foreigner stopped her and asked in broken Chinese:
“Mrs. Lu? Is that you?”
The path was dimly lit, and Su Yiren was also looking down, so she really didn’t understand how he recognized her.
She didn’t want to attract too much attention, so she lightly greeted him,
“Hello.” She said, wanting to continue walking forward.
The foreigner laughed happily and said loudly:
“It’s really you! My eyesight is still good, right!”
Su Yiren managed to squeeze out a smile, seeing that the guests passing by were already starting to look this way, she just wanted to leave quickly.
The foreigner’s eyesight was indeed good. After seeing her, his next target was Lu Yunting.
He waved his hand vigorously and shouted:
“Hey! Mr. Lu! Your wife is here!”
Su Yiren’s scalp tingled, and while his attention was all on Lu Yunting, she immediately walked away quickly.
Lu Yunting turned his head and only saw a thin and slender figure, hurriedly disappearing on the path.
He frowned slightly, feeling that he was really having hallucinations.
She had clearly told him with certainty that she would definitely not attend the anniversary celebration, how could she possibly be here?
The foreigner laughed and walked over,
“Mr. Lu! Your wife is so shy!”
Lu Yunting raised an eyebrow, “Wife?”
The foreigner pointed to the path, trying to describe the scene just now,
“She was there just now, your wife, she ran that way!”
Lu Yunting was stunned, subconsciously chasing after her on that path.
The path Su Yiren was walking on led directly to the building where she was staying, with very few guests.
She walked around for a while, and she could already see the lights of the lobby on the first floor. Suddenly, she heard a familiar female voice coming from ahead.
“Don’t follow me!”
It was Ouyang Shasha.
Su Yiren immediately stopped, looking through the gap between the trees, vaguely seeing two people standing on the path ahead.
This path was the only way back to her room. If she continued walking forward, she would definitely bump into Ouyang Shasha.
Su Yiren didn’t want to see her, so she hid behind a nearby tree, intending to go over after they left.
However, just as she waited for a while, she heard Ouyang Shasha’s low cry!
