After the Divorce, My Ex-Wife’s Identity Shocked the World Chapter 2

Chapter 2: You Actually Cheated!

Half an hour later, Su Yiren went downstairs after adjusting her mood.

The tears on her face had been wiped away, and her taut skin was as rigid as her heart.

She put on dark sunglasses to cover her swollen eyes and quickly walked into the elevator.

Recently, Lu Yunting had not returned to the villa. When he called her yesterday and asked her to come to the company today, she still had a little expectation in her heart.

She didn’t expect that he would arrange to meet here, making it convenient for the lawyer to discuss the division of marital property with her.

Watching the numbers on the elevator screen change one by one, Su Yiren twitched the corner of her mouth and laughed at herself.

She would never be so self-deceiving again.

The elevator stopped on the 13th floor. Two employees got on.

Because Su Yiren rarely came to the company and was wearing sunglasses, they didn’t recognize her.

The two stood in front and whispered:

“Did you hear? Bai Yueguang is here.”

“Who?”

“Cough…” The person extended a finger and pointed upwards,

“It’s that one, Bai Yueguang.”

The other person covered her mouth in surprise, “Where?”

The person pointed down again, her eyes filled with gossip.

Su Yiren glanced at their interaction and vaguely guessed what they were talking about. Her heart sank further.

The elevator reached the first floor, and the two quickly walked out. She followed slowly.

As if by fate, she saw two people sitting in the public rest area.

Lu Yunting and a young woman in a white dress.

They were sitting on the sofa looking at the same phone. Lu Yunting’s expression was relaxed as he talked to the woman. The woman covered her mouth and laughed. She also patted his shoulder.

Su Yiren had seen many photos and recognized her at a glance. It was Ouyang Shasha.

It turned out that what the two employees in the elevator were talking about mysteriously was indeed them.

Over the years they were married, they had maintained the image of a harmonious couple in front of others. But who didn’t know that Lu Yunting had a white moonlight he always thought about?

Now that she had returned to China, she was naturally kicked out.

Su Yiren took a deep breath, retracted her gaze, and deliberately chose another direction to avoid them.

Unexpectedly, a man suddenly ran out from the side. Su Yiren almost bumped into him.

The man just apologized hastily and quickly ran towards Lu Yunting,

“Boss! There are five or six helicopters circling above our rooftop! One of them landed!”

Lu Yunting frowned,

“What are they doing?”

The man stammered, “They seem to be causing trouble. They injured several of our people!”

Lu Yunting turned to Ouyang Shasha and said, “Wait for me here,” then stood up and instructed:

“Go up and have a look.” He strode towards the elevator entrance.

At the same time, Su Yiren received a call. The voice on the other end of the phone was filled with the sound of wind, and the familiar gentle male voice said,

“Come to the rooftop helipad.”

Su Yiren didn’t understand, so she walked back to the elevator entrance. She met Lu Yunting there. They looked at each other and then turned away, the atmosphere awkwardly silent.

Lu Yunting looked at the elevator door and frowned, asking:

“Why aren’t you leaving yet?”

Su Yiren replied in a flat voice:

“I still have something to do.”

Lu Yunting’s expression was calm and composed, but his tone was sharp and sarcastic,

“No matter how long you stay here, I won’t change my mind.”

“…You’re thinking too much.”

Su Yiren took a deep breath. It felt like someone had stuffed a cotton ball in her chest. She couldn’t swallow it or spit it out, and it made her heart ache.

Lu Yunting glanced at her casually and nodded,

“I hope so.”

The elevator door opened, and Su Yiren walked in first. Even though her heart was aching, she still proudly straightened her back, not wanting him to see her embarrassment.

She clutched her phone, unsure why Si Hong asked her to go to the rooftop, but her intuition told her that this man would never do anything to hurt her.

As soon as the elevator door opened, hot air rushed in. Even with sunglasses on, Su Yiren squinted her eyes. She heard Lu Yunting, who was standing in front of her, ask in a deep voice:

“Who are you? Why are you parked here?”

On the small helipad, two helicopters were parked, almost taking up the entire rooftop.

Two men wearing sunglasses stood in front of each helicopter. Four or five security guards in uniform were lying at their feet.

Lu Yunting’s brow furrowed. Just as he was about to say something else, a young man slowly walked down from the helicopter.

He was wearing a simple white shirt and black trousers. The watch on his wrist flashed a sharp light in the sun, then disappeared in an instant.

It was a clean and refreshing outfit, yet it carried a strange sense of intimidation and solemnity.

His skin was pale, making him appear even more delicate and transparent in the sunlight. He wore gold-rimmed glasses on his high nose bridge, and the eyes behind the lenses were deep and sharp.

He pushed up his glasses and walked straight towards Su Yiren, his every move exuding elegance.

Lu Yunting felt a sense of apprehension and watched him approach coldly, asking again:

“Who are you exactly?”

This man didn’t even bother to answer Lu Yunting. He stopped about two meters away from them, extended his hand towards Su Yiren behind him, and said,

“Welcome home.”

Lu Yunting’s eyes narrowed in disbelief as he watched Su Yiren walk towards the man. He subconsciously chased after her and grabbed her wrist,

“Do you know him?”

“Of course.” Su Yiren calmly turned back and said,

“Is there anything else you need to tell me, Mr. Lu?”

Lu Yunting looked at Su Yiren with a bewildered expression. He couldn’t believe that in just a few minutes, her attitude towards him had changed completely.

“Who is he?”

“None of your business.”

“Su Yiren!” Lu Yunting lowered his voice and questioned her, his anger coming from somewhere,

“Are you sure you want to leave with this man?”

Su Yiren calmly glanced at the hand that was holding her wrist. It was the same hand that had just picked up the pen and decisively and confidently signed his name on the divorce agreement.

She curled her lips into a mocking smile,

“Mr. Lu, remember to finalize the divorce proceedings as soon as possible.” She then directly shook off his hand, not wanting to say another word to him.

Lu Yunting watched coldly as Su Yiren and the man boarded the helicopter one after the other. The fire in his heart burned even hotter!

Su Yiren! You actually cheated!

Good!

We’ll see about this!

The helicopters came and went quickly. If it weren’t for someone taking pictures of that impressive scene downstairs, few people would remember that they had arrogantly landed on the rooftop of Lu’s Group, angering the young and promising Mr. Lu.

As the helicopter rose into the air, Su Yiren took off her sunglasses and turned to look at the gentle young man beside her. She smiled slightly,

“Long time no see, Si Hong.”

“Long time no see.” Si Hong looked at her swollen eyes, was startled for a moment, then smiled gently,

“We’ve been in contact by phone for the past two years. It’s finally good to see you.”

Su Yiren smiled softly, but the smile didn’t reach her eyes. She looked around, then at the burly pilot, and couldn’t help but sigh,

“You’re different from before.”

Si Hong looked at her with clear eyes and answered softly and gently,

“In front of you, I’ll always be the same.”

The burly pilot subconsciously glanced to the side. Although he couldn’t see the person in the back seat’s expression, he was startled by the gentle and peaceful voice and unconsciously swallowed.

Su Yiren smiled at him softly, then looked away, gazing at the white clouds outside the window, her eyes calm.

Si Hong stared intently at her turned side profile and her swollen eyes. A silent anger rolled in his heart, filled with pain and hatred.

Sunlight streamed through the glass window and fell on his face, carrying a hint of scorching heat, making him inexplicably restless.

He loosened his tie, and the eyes behind his glasses instantly became dark and sharp.
