Chapter 5: I Want to See Her Myself

The meeting room fell silent, and everyone gasped in shock, staring at the young woman sitting in the center, as if they had been choked.

Su Yiren raised her chin slightly, her gaze sweeping across the room, finally settling on Su Changhua, whose face was ashen, and Su Changyang, whose face was filled with fear.

“Second Uncle, Third Uncle, long time no see. You’ve been criticizing me non-stop, I haven’t had a chance to greet you both.”

The sudden mention of the name made Su Yiren’s heart ache.

Suddenly, the image of that handsome and calm face, and the elegant way he attended meetings wearing the suits she had made, flashed through her mind, Su Yiren was momentarily lost in thought.

“Divorce.”

“No, tell Lu Yunting: From now on, designer Susan will no longer have any form of business cooperation with him.”

Si Hong was surprised. “Including business with Lu’s Group?”

“Yes.”

“Their company paid the full compensation according to the contract, it seems they’re determined to break up with us!”

“Boss, what should we do? We’ve already announced the new product to the public and signed contracts with several major clients, she suddenly quit like this, our losses will be huge!”

Lu Yunting’s face was ashen, he remained silent for a moment before instructing.

“Schedule a meeting with this designer.”

“I want to see her myself.”

“Just block him.”

Amy was helpless. “Please, even though we paid the breach of contract fee, there’s still some work to be finalized! If I block him now, I won’t get the share of the profits?”

Su Yiren paused with her finger. “No, we have to get the money.”

“That’s right, we can’t fight against money, can we?”

“Why don’t you meet him? You’re divorced anyway, what are you afraid of?”

She got up and went to the restroom.

As she was washing her hands, a young woman walked in from outside and stood in front of the mirror to apply lipstick.
