The method of comparison was simple: have a crew member anonymously post on the pirate forum, and whoever could find out who made the post first would be the winner.
The surrounding pirates formed a circle, quietly selecting someone to finish posting, and nodded to Ye Qingyun and the young man: “Alright.”
Ye Qingyun opened the terminal on his wrist, while the young man mocked him, “It’s still not too late to surrender; otherwise, when you can’t find it later and lose face, don’t blame me for not reminding you.”
Ye Qingyun said nothing, his fingertips swiftly tapping on the terminal screen.
He rarely boasted, and what he said was mostly the truth. Locating someone was a piece of cake for him; he had managed to hack into the scummy protagonist’s terminal to send a letter just as the plot described.
If he could easily find the scummy protagonist, how could he struggle with a crew member whose terminal wasn’t as advanced?
The onlooking pirates chatted loudly nearby: “Hey, I don’t think there’s any suspense; why is this beauty being so unreasonable?”
“What was the fastest locating speed before? An hour?”
“That was under ideal conditions. Didn’t we upgrade our terminals recently? I don’t think it will take more than a day this time.”
“Let’s finish eating and then scatter.”
Seven minutes later, Ye Qingyun raised his eyes and looked straight at a burly bearded pirate.
At that moment, the young man was still searching hard across from him, while the other pirates continued chatting. The pirate Ye Qingyun was looking at was taken aback and asked gruffly, “What do you want?”
“Lu Jia,” Ye Qingyun said slowly, “It was you who made the post with the title ‘Counting the Idiots I’ve Met Over the Years.’ “
As soon as he finished speaking, the noisy cafeteria fell silent; the boisterous pirates looked at Ye Qingyun in shock, as if frozen in place.
It was indeed Lu Jia who had made the post, but had it taken less than ten minutes?
Their first reaction was that Ye Qingyun had randomly pointed at someone and got lucky, hitting the poster.
But he had even mentioned the title of the post…
Who on earth was this person?
Moreover, had the boss lost his mind? Shouldn’t a technical staff member of this level be coddled with a monthly salary of ten thousand contribution points?
The young man competing with Ye Qingyun turned pale, then coldly snorted, “You know there’s no hope, so you’re just throwing out random names?”
“Stop talking nonsense. You can ask them if it’s true,” Ye Qingyun said, tapping the table with his index finger. “All your contribution points should be transferred to my account, Ye Qingyun, and not a penny less.” Ye Qingyun thought for a moment, then the corners of his mouth slightly lifted: “If I come to eat tomorrow and see that you still have contribution points, don’t blame me for being rude.”
After saying that, Ye Qingyun stood up, gave the young man a cold glance, and strode out.
