Chapter 26 Medical Space Upgrade Complete
Chu Chenyin looked at her beloved little garment and almost choked on the steamed bun in her throat.
“That…,” she rushed forward and snatched it, stuffing it into her bosom, “It’s mine…”
Fu Yanting lowered his long black eyelashes, lazily scratching his slightly curled hair, “When you got out of bed just now, this thing fell to the ground.”
Chu Chenyin was embarrassed and wanted to find a hole to crawl into.
She hadn’t sleepwalked last night, but she had forgotten that she had a habit of taking off her underwear as soon as she got into bed.
What a shame.
Fortunately, everyone present was from ancient times and didn’t recognize this thing.
She stuffed the black lace even tighter, smiling and saying, “I bought this yesterday in the city. They say it can be used to bind the waist and abdomen.”
Fu Yanting didn’t pay attention to this. He gave it to her, turned around and went into the room, yawned, and seemed to want to continue sleeping.
Chu Chenyin breathed a sigh of relief.
After Fu Yanting left, Qing’er walked over to Chu Chenyin and whispered, “Young mistress, you got it wrong. This thing is used to wrap the chest. My mother and I saw it in the borderlands before, but it wasn’t as round and big as yours.”
Chu Chenyin was startled and turned to look at Mrs. Fu.
Mrs. Fu nodded at her.
It seemed she really needed to find a hole to crawl into.
This… this wasn’t according to the script at all. How could ancient people recognize this thing?!
Mrs. Fu seemed to see her confusion, “When we were in the borderlands before, we met some women from other places. The belly bands they wore were similar to this, but if you look closely, they are different. But it definitely wasn’t used to bind the waist and abdomen. You must have been tricked by some shopkeeper.”
Chu Chenyin finally understood. It was just similar. She was scared to death and quickly smiled, “It seems I got it wrong.”
Mrs. Fu probably wanted to help her out of the awkward situation. She smiled and whispered, “Don’t worry, Yanting won’t recognize it. He hasn’t seen it before. Let’s pretend we didn’t see it.”
Chu Chenyin was grateful. It was a good thing that Marquis Fu and his second son weren’t here, otherwise, she would really have crawled into a hole.
It seems she’ll have to be more careful next time. She really can’t underestimate anyone here.
She quickly tucked her underwear closer to her chest and smiled, “Thank you, Mother.”
Not far from them, inside the room, Fu Yanting hadn’t gone far. He accidentally heard their conversation and stood there in shock, stiffly lowering his head to look at the hand that had just held the thing. His usually arrogant face flushed slightly, his chest rose and fell, and his heart beat wildly.
Spring was in full bloom, and the magnolia trees in the courtyard outside were in full bloom, slowly raising their heads in the gentle breeze.
At this moment, as Fu Yanting’s face flushed and his heart raced, the progress bar for the sixth layer of space suddenly jumped forward a large step.
After lunch, Chu Chenyin went to the second floor of the space and took a bottle of iced coffee from the refrigerator. She took a sip.
To be honest, the space was still the best. There was food and drink, a bed to sleep on, but she could only stay here for half an hour each time.
After half an hour, she would automatically be ejected from the space.
Taking advantage of the remaining time, Chu Chenyin quickly went to the bathroom, took a shower, and changed into new underwear.
As she was about to leave, a voice suddenly sounded in the space: “Sixth layer space upgrade complete.”
Chu Chenyin was startled and quickly went to the entrance of the sixth layer space. She saw that the door was actually open.
This wasn’t right. Wasn’t the sixth layer space supposed to take ten days to upgrade? It’s only been two days, how could it be upgraded successfully?
She was puzzled and slowly pushed open the door to the sixth layer space. Inside, there was a modern hospital.
There was a pharmacy, medical equipment, a sterile operating room, a laboratory, and a B-ultrasound and CT room.
Everything was the latest and most advanced.
She walked inside, unable to tell whether she was in reality or a dream.
Chu Chenyin first went to the pharmacy. It had all kinds of drugs from both domestic and foreign markets, from cold medicine to anticancer drugs, as well as many injectable solutions.
Then she went to the medical equipment warehouse. There were many cotton swabs, gauze, cotton balls, syringes, and needles.
She walked further into the sterile operating room.
