Shen Mingyou doesn’t have any night scenes tonight. Filming recently has often gone late into the night, so Shen Mingyou is a bit sleep-deprived.

It’s just that Jiang Chen is coming to visit. Xiao Xi is so excited.
But Yu Zhen wondered why Shen Mingyou wanted a divorce if Jiang Chen was so great.

After Shen Mingyou opened the door and entered the room, she immediately noticed something unusual.
The room smelled amazing.
The scent of roses was strong and couldn’t come from just one flower or a bouquet.
This floral scent seemed to be from real plants, not perfume.
Shen Mingyou turned on the light and saw two people in the living room: Nian Nian and her father.
Both were wearing small flower crowns and stood side by side, holding hands and looking at her with big eyes.
Shen Mingyou: “…”
She didn’t know who came up with this surprise, but it was… pretty strange.
If she were timid, she might have been scared by it.
“Mom!” When Nian Nian saw her mother had returned, she ran over, holding her father’s hand, hugged her mother’s legs, and rubbed her little head against her.
“Why are you here?” Shen Mingyou was surprised. She hadn’t seen Nian Nian for a long time and missed her very much.
“Come and see mom.” After a hug, Nian Nian stepped back and handed her mother a rose solemnly.
After giving the gift, Nian Nian kissed her mother’s face and said, “Nian Nian misses you, mom.”
Seeing this, Shen Mingyou smiled and kissed Nian Nian back: “Mom misses Nian Nian too.”
Nian Nian turned to her father, hoping he would follow her example: give a gift and a kiss, so her mother would kiss him back.
Parents who kiss each other have a good relationship. Parents with a good relationship won’t get divorced, so Nian Nian won’t have to leave her mother.
Nian Nian waited expectantly for her father’s move.
However, Jiang Chen didn’t understand what his daughter meant.

After arriving at the hotel, Nian Nian asked him to buy many roses and rose petals, saying she wanted to surprise her mother. She also insisted that dad must do whatever Nian Nian wanted today.
Jiang Chen complied, but it seemed Nian Nian was still dissatisfied.
“Mom, come with me.” Nian Nian, frustrated with her father, took her mother’s hand and led her down the rose path they had prepared, straight to the master bedroom.
Before opening the door, Shen Mingyou, who had been asked by Nian Nian to close her eyes, saw that the bed was covered with rose petals forming a heart shape.
Shen Mingyou: “…”
She wondered who came up with this cliché surprise.
Shen Mingyou asked, “Who prepared this?”
Jiang Chen: “It’s Nian Nian.”
Nian Nian: “It’s Dad.”
Both parents answered at the same time.
Nian Nian glared at her father, who failed to cooperate with her plan. She hoped the surprise would make her mother kiss her father out of excitement.
Nian Nian glared at her father again.
Jiang Chen was confused and silent.
After cleaning up the petals, it was almost bedtime.
Since Jiang Chen had hurriedly packed Nian Nian’s luggage but neglected his own, he needed to buy a few personal items.
After a shower, Nian Nian saw her father about to go out and called him over.
Jiang Chen stopped, thinking Nian Nian needed something. Instead, she kissed him on the face and said, “Dad, come back soon.”

He was pleasantly surprised, as Nian Nian rarely showed such affection.
After kissing her father, Nian Nian looked at her mother eagerly.
Nian Nian set a good example, and her mother should understand what she meant.
However, Shen Mingyou didn’t seem to get it.
Shen Mingyou brought her daughter over and reminded Jiang Chen, who was about to go out, “Remember to close the door when you leave.”
Nian Nian: “…”
What should I do? Not only did my mother not kiss my father, but she seemed eager for him to leave the house. This must be what Jiang Xu meant by a bad relationship.
After Dad left, Nian Nian felt a bit down.
Shen Mingyou found it strange. Could Nian Nian and her father have become so close in just a few days? Why was Nian Nian upset that her father was away for a while?

But today, Nian Nian seemed overly emotional. She not only kissed her mother several times but also kissed her father, which she rarely did.
Nian Nian’s mood changed quickly from happy to upset.
Shen Mingyou asked, “What’s wrong with Nian Nian?”
Nian Nian hugged her mother’s waist and whispered, “Nian Nian can’t live without her mother.”
Thinking her daughter was just being affectionate, Shen Mingyou hugged her and kissed her: “Mom can’t live without Nian Nian either.”
“Then will Mommy be with Nian Nian forever?”
“Certainly.”
After getting her mother’s assurance, Nian Nian felt a bit happier.
When Jiang Chen returned with the items he bought, he saw Shen Mingyou and Nian Nian hugging affectionately.
Seeing him, Shen Mingyou handed Nian Nian over to him and went to take a shower.
Nian Nian’s mood worsened when she saw her father.
Even Jiang Chen noticed the sudden change. Just a moment ago, Nian Nian was smiling at her mother, but now she looked ready to scold her father.
Nian Nian decided to confront her father.
“If Dad and Mom get divorced, Dad must not take away the custody of Nian Nian, understand?”
Jiang Chen’s heart sank at this.
“Who told you that Mom and Dad are getting divorced?”
Apart from Shen Mingyou and himself, only Nian Nian’s uncle Zhao Yan knew about the potential divorce. Jiang Chen was worried that Zhao Yan might have said something to the child. If so, Zhao Yan would have to answer for it.
Nian Nian said, “Brother Jiang Xu said so.”
Jiang Chen: “……?”
What does this have to do with that little troublemaker Jiang Xu?
“Brother Jiang Xu said that if Mom and Dad don’t kiss each other, it means their relationship is bad, and if their relationship is bad, they will get divorced.” Nian Nian explained, “Mom and Dad never kiss each other, so your relationship must be bad. If you get divorced, Nian Nian can only be with one person.”
“Nian Nian doesn’t want to be with Daddy; Nian Nian only wants Mommy.”

How could Dad be so bad, kissing Mom secretly without telling Nian Nian? She always kisses Mom openly!
Jiang Chen was confused by Nian Nian’s thoughts.
He said, “Don’t worry, Dad and Mom won’t get divorced.”
However, Nian Nian focused on something else. She shook her head and said, “It doesn’t matter if Mom and Dad get divorced, as long as Dad doesn’t take Nian Nian away.”
“Even if Daddy tries to take me away, Nian Nian will never follow Daddy!”
Nian Nian was firm. If her parents had a good relationship, it was fine if they didn’t divorce. But if their relationship was bad, they should divorce, as long as Nian Nian could stay with her mother.
Jiang Chen: “…”
