After reuniting, it was time for the game to begin.

The competition had six levels: haunted house adventure, claw machine, mud flat adventure, cooking master, memory test, and tacit understanding test.  

The guests could decide which level to start with. After passing three levels, they would face a lucky roulette wheel. Whatever the roulette landed on would be their result. If they were lucky, they could reach the finish line directly. If unlucky, the wheel could send them back to the start.

Since each level took place in different locations, guests had to plan their own route. Time spent on the road was also important if they wanted to reach the finish line quickly.

The show arranged a car for each guest, which was sponsored by the program’s largest brand partner.

Shen Mingyou and her family quickly arrived at the parking lot. After choosing a car, she placed Nian Nian into the child safety seat in the back, while Jiang Chen got into the driver’s seat, starting the car and checking the route.

“Youyou, sit in the front and help me plan the route.”

Shen Mingyou originally wanted to sit in the back, but after hearing Jiang Chen’s words, she walked around and sat in the passenger seat.

“Shall we start with the claw machine?” Jiang Chen suggested, seeing that the mall where the claw machines were located was the closest to them. It seemed like a good starting point, as the next location was much farther away. Other guests would likely start there, too.

Shen Mingyou, fastening her seatbelt, looked at the map and nodded. “After we grab the doll, we’ll go to the haunted house, then do the cooking master level.”

“Okay, I’ll follow my wife’s lead.” Jiang Chen held the steering wheel with his left hand, rested his right hand on the passenger seat near Shen Mingyou, leaned in to check the view behind them, and started reversing the car.

Shen Mingyou stared at Jiang Chen’s serious face as he reversed: “…”

It was such a natural move, but somehow, she felt like Jiang Chen was doing it on purpose.

“It’s almost there.” Zhou Jingxing moved the doll towards the exit again, but just like before, it slipped back down.

After a few more tries, Zhou Jingxing lost his patience. “Is this machine broken?”

Gu Aifei said, “Let’s keep trying. These machines are hard by design. If everyone could win easily, the business would lose money.”

But just as Gu Aifei finished speaking, cheers erupted nearby.

Gu Aifei looked over and saw that Shen Mingyou had just started but had already won a doll!

How is that possible?!

Jiang Chen handed the little bunny doll to Nian Nian, who happily held it in her arms: “Daddy is awesome!”
