Apocalypse Arrival: Little Zombie, I Just Hoard, Hoard, Hoard!
Apocalypse Arrival: Little Zombie, I Just Hoard, Hoard, Hoard! Chapter 35: Dealing with the Little Villain

Mu Enya chuckled, finding the 3A team quite interesting. In the end, she kindly reminded them about what had happened on the forum.

The four of them instantly looked gloomy, with one little zombie completely confused and unaware of what was going on.

After reading the post on the forum, Qin Luo and the others took a sharp breath and buried themselves in figuring out how anyone could think that Xu Dodo was one of their lovers.

Has society become this ridiculous?

Chen Xiaofei was so startled he stammered, “I-I-I don’t have any such feelings for the class leader!”

Never.

The class leader had always been so intimidating during their youth, making him respect her a lot.

Wang Weihuo quickly clarified that he also had no such intentions. When they were in middle school, he wasn’t even aware of girls, and later on, his focus was entirely on fighting on the frontlines. He’d never thought about this, and besides, he preferred older women with a fiery body.

Bai Shu also couldn’t be further from the truth; he adjusted his glasses and said, “I’m asexual.”

And every time they played truth or dare with others, whenever the topic of first loves came up, Qin Luo would blush when asked and, after a long pause, eventually admit that his first love was Xu Dodo, their middle school class leader.

The others would then tease him with exaggerated “oohs” and chuckles.

Once Qin Luo opened up, he was able to answer any such questions easily. Whenever asked what he liked about her, he’d say she was pretty, that she looked nice when serious, and even her fierce side was adorable.

For years, all he talked about was Xu Dodo.

As the heartthrob of their group, his pure moonlight, and the object of his youthful crush, who could possibly compete with that? But Chen Xiaofei and the others really didn’t have romantic feelings for the class leader. It was absurd that this rumor had spread because of a photo.

Chen Xiaofei exploded in anger, “Who the hell is sneaking around taking pictures like this?!”

He shouted out loud.

Everyone was resting in the warehouse, setting up their makeshift beds. They all turned their heads at the noise.

Chen Xiaofei was fuming, “What a villain! Trying to stir up trouble behind our backs?”

Bai Shu advised him to stay calm, “The more you get angry, the more they’ll enjoy it. I’m serious.”

Wang Weihuo looked around. The other survivors dared not look directly at them, heads lowered. Occasionally, one or two would sneak a peek before quickly returning to their own business.

Only the combat teams from the main bases still had access to the internet.

The warehouse wasn’t small, housing five teams. It was unlikely to be Mu Enya’s team, as they had interacted with her before and knew all seven of her members were good people.

Zhao Gang’s group of survivors was handed over to Mu Enya’s team, with their previous contact being their captain, Zhang Chi.

Excluding them, there were three other teams in the warehouse. They weren’t familiar with them.

You couldn’t expect to meet familiar faces every time you were out. There would always be survivors from other bases.

Wang Weihuo couldn’t make anything out from looking around. Anyone capable of going on missions was psychologically tough, unlike ordinary people who couldn’t hide anything.

Qin Luo, quicker on his feet, immediately went online to clear things up and introduce their new member, the Aberrant Xu Dodo.

The forum exploded.

  • “What?! Luo Shen is online? And he’s personally stepping in to confront people???”
  • “Aberrant? You’re recruiting an Aberrant? Who is this girl?”
  • “Are Aberrants no longer controlled by the bases? Aren’t they supposed to be working for the bases?”
  • “Anyone accepted by the 3A team must be strong, right? Is she a healer or a spatial ability user? Those two powers are the rarest.”
  • “No, no, no, I just looked at Luo Shen’s post. Her Aberrant tendency is zombie-like, no other abilities. Just a 1.5x speed boost. She’s only a little stronger than an ordinary person.”
  • “Isn’t Chen Xiaofei from their team the same? His rating is 3.8, not much stronger than this new girl. And she’s just a civilian.”
  • “Hard to say.”
  • “Forget that, but their behavior seems really close, don’t you think? Who lets their new teammate lie in their arms? We all know what’s going on.”

As soon as Qin Luo saw this slander, he immediately @-mentioned the poster, “Hey, what’s this ‘expert’ talk? Come, come, explain what you know?”

Everyone was surprised that Qin Luo was going to confront someone directly. A crowd quickly gathered to watch the show.

  • “Wow, Luo Shen is really taking action?”
  • “LOL, thanks for the invite, I went to the same high school as this guy. He’s the kind of person who will argue with you forever.”
  • “Doesn’t this just mean he’s protecting her? It’s over, guys. He’s totally in love with her.”

Qin Luo’s comment made the “expert” go silent immediately. It seemed they hadn’t expected Qin Luo to call them out. But they didn’t dare challenge Qin Luo, given his terrifying task completion record.

Luo Shen wasn’t called that for nothing—he was a battle maniac. Not to mention his pre-apocalypse achievements, even during the apocalypse, he had already completed hundreds of missions, always being a pure output machine in every task.

Who would dare provoke him?

The others couldn’t help but laugh at the “expert,” and everyone enjoyed the gossip.

Because Qin Luo had stepped in, the troublemakers quickly quieted down, and the atmosphere shifted to a more lively crowd.

  • “Since she’s just a teammate, does that mean she doesn’t have a girlfriend? Can I join 3A?”
  • “Right? Can I pursue you, Luo Shen?”
  • “Luo Shen, can you broaden your view on gender? How about me? [shy]”

Qin Luo was caught off guard and directly rejected them. He turned to contact headquarters to lock the post. Such slanderous posts would soon be locked, and he asked them to investigate.

It wasn’t too difficult to trace information in the apocalypse, especially since only a few people had internet access. It didn’t take long for Qin Luo to get the necessary details.

He stood up, scanned the area, locked onto his target, and strode over, “Hey, seems like you have some thoughts about our 3A team? Let’s talk?”

Xu Dodo watched as Qin Luo dragged the person out of the warehouse.

She blinked.

Wang Weihuo also got up and followed.

Bai Shu was updating Xu Dodo’s personal information on his tablet. There had been a bug earlier, and her profile hadn’t included their team’s logo and name, but now it was all updated.

Under her name ID, it now displayed the 3A Special Operations Team.

Her participation in three missions was listed: one involving mutated monkeys at a canning factory, a rescue mission at a service area, and exterminating mutated serpent men. The first two missions didn’t earn much in terms of points, and Bai Shu hadn’t reported her spatial abilities. He only noted that her assistance had been crucial, but the process was briefly summarized.

Her personal profile looked much better now, as it reflected her involvement in three legitimate missions.

Chen Xiaofei was still on the side grumbling, “We really need to push her profile update. People keep misjudging us because of it.”

They thought they were chasing after the class leader or keeping her as a mistress.

It was frustrating, handling such rumors while out on a mission.
