After everyone from the village had left with the military personnel, the peaceful little mountain village was left with only Nan Muran and her group of nine.

Compared to when they arrived, the military’s special ability team had lost eleven members, who were all useless.

The two vehicles started their journey straight toward the Lan City official base.

“Not bad, a level-three zombie,” Eagle said with bright eyes after assessing the situation.

“We have enough crystal cores for the four of us to level up, so we’ll leave the ones we encounter along the way to Han Yingtian’s group,” Nan Muran said calmly.

Eagle nodded, “Alright.”

“They need to level up quickly. If it continues like this, they’ll hold us back when it matters most,” Si Ye reminded Eagle as he watched the scene.

Eagle silently pulled the car over and watched Han Yingtian and the others begin to eliminate the zombies with headshots. It felt exhilarating.

Level-two ability users had a clear advantage when dealing with level-three zombies.

“Feeling itchy?” Jia Wu, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, casually asked.

“You don’t feel itchy?” Eagle replied, not believing it.

Jia Wu looked at the dense crowd of zombies outside. “Taking care of some low-level zombies should be fine, right?”

Seeing that Nan Muran hadn’t said anything against it, the two immediately got out of the car, each holding a baseball bat, to start playing by eliminating zombies.
