Apocalypse Rebirth: The Boss Brings a Space to Hoard Supplies and Crush Scum – Chapter 14

Chapter 14: Call Me Daddy

Captain Jin stood outside Mu Jiu’s villa with a group of people. From the outside, it sounded lively and joyful inside!

Through the first-floor curtains, colorful flashing lights were visible—it looked more like a KTV party than a home.

Captain Jin was furious. He immediately called the other butlers back at the service hall, ordering someone to cut the power to Unit 050.

Without disabling the high-voltage electric grid, how could they get in?

“Old Jin, the power to 050 is already shut off. Don’t believe me? I’ll send you a video!”

His colleague then started a video call.

“That’s impossible!” Captain Jin stared at the video showing the breaker for Unit 050 indeed turned off, which meant…

“What’s impossible?” a familiar female voice suddenly rang out behind the group, startling everyone.

Turning around, they saw Mu Jiu—fully armed in an orange, one-piece polar cold-weather suit—standing right in the middle of the road.

When did she come out? They hadn’t seen her under the streetlamp when they arrived!

“Didn’t you announce in the group chat that you were coming to raid my house? So I came out especially to greet you!” Mu Jiu smiled at the surprised butlers.

Actually, she had seen them gathering outside from her window and then teleported out using her portal mirror.

At -65°C, it was bitterly cold—cold enough to freeze one’s blood.

Captain Jin quickly regained his composure and growled to the others:

“She came to us on her own—perfect. Grab her! Let’s bring her back and let the injured brothers have their fun!

She hurt my men and made me lose face in front of Brother Chen. Tonight, I’m going to take back every ounce of that humiliation from her—

—I’ll make her lick my toes and call me Daddy!”

Immediately, four or five bulky butlers charged at Mu Jiu.

But Mu Jiu wasn’t scared at all. In fact, this was the perfect time to test the results of her past month of training!

She cracked her neck, flexed her wrists, and aimed a powerful punch straight at the face of the first fat man who approached.

Thud!
A 180-pound man was sent flying three meters into a snowbank. Blood gushed from his nose—he fainted instantly.

Next was the skinny guy trailing behind him. Mu Jiu punched him square in the chest, launching him five meters away onto the roadside.

He vomited a mouthful of blood and collapsed.

Then came a tall, lanky butler wielding a baseball bat as thick as an arm. He aimed for Mu Jiu’s head.

But before the bat could touch a hair on her head, she caught its end with one hand.

With a twist, a sickening crack echoed—Mu Jiu had broken the man’s arm through the bat.

Thanks to the spiritual spring water, her body was now a hundred times stronger than an average human’s. These fools had picked the wrong person to mess with.

With the bat in her hand, Mu Jiu became even more unstoppable.

Ten butlers, one strike each—in under a minute, she had taken down all of them. Not one could even moan in pain.

All that remained was Captain Jin.

He stood frozen, mouth agape, eyes wide, watching Mu Jiu effortlessly defeat ten trained men all by herself.

These weren’t nobodies. They were trained bodyguards, skilled in boxing, martial arts, and combat.

And yet their opponent was just a young girl!

“Y-you… don’t come any closer! I-I swear I’ll never bother you again! I promise!”

Captain Jin trembled as he raised three fingers in a shaky vow, his legs nearly buckling beneath him.

Mu Jiu only smirked. Having survived years in the apocalypse, she knew human nature like the back of her hand—bully the weak, fear the strong.

A lowlife’s sincerity meant nothing to her.

What she wanted was for everyone in the butler department to never dare mess with her again!

“Then start by calling me ‘Grandma,’” Mu Jiu said mockingly.

“Gr-Grandma!”

The next second, Mu Jiu’s baseball bat slammed into the side of Captain Jin’s neck.

That night, a bizarre photo was posted in the villa group chat:

Eleven men wearing only boxer shorts were lying flat in the snow, each posed in a perfect broadcast gymnastics position.

The background? The front entrance of the butler service hall.

In one corner of the image, a small hand wearing a brown lambskin glove was flashing a peace sign ✌️.

The caption read:
“050 is mentally unstable. Do not disturb. Bear the consequences. @All Butler Department Members”

The moment the butlers saw the photo, they rushed out of the service hall—

Only to find Captain Jin’s group lying naked at the door, bodies stiff and purple from the cold.

They tried to wake them and bring them inside to warm up—only to discover that every one of their limbs had been broken.

They were completely immobile—only their trembling mouths still able to move.

From that day on, not a single butler dared to bother 050 again.

Even walking past the villa, they tiptoed in fear of disturbing the “mentally unstable patient” inside.

In the group chat, no one dared even mention “Granny from 050”—she clearly wasn’t normal, and she wasn’t someone they could mess with!

Mu Jiu, now free from trouble, spent her days happily raising chickens and tending to flowers.

But the other residents still lived under the tyranny of the butler department.

None of them had Mu Jiu’s electrified defenses, nor her legendary combat skills.

One night, in another villa lived a family of nine: father, mother, three daughters, three elders, and an aunt.

They refused to hand over their food and tried to resist.

That night, the butlers broke in and ransacked everything.

All their supplies were stolen. The men were beaten half to death—and the women didn’t escape the butlers’ depravity either…

With nowhere to turn, the worst of human nature ran rampant in the lawless butler department.

In the middle of the night, nearby residents clearly heard the women’s sharp cries of pain…

But no one dared help. No one wanted to get involved.

Everyone hoped the butlers would spare them as long as they continued handing over food.

But nearly two months into the apocalypse, many families who had squandered early on were now running out of food.

Some were desperate enough to want to submit and beg for mercy—but they no longer had anything to offer.

One such family, with 15 members and many grown men, decided to fight back like Mu Jiu.

They reformed a new WeChat group—without the butlers—and when the butlers arrived, they started a live video chat, hoping to expose their crimes.

But this time, over thirty butlers came—each one armed with electric batons, chainsaws, butcher knives…

Against kitchen knives, fruit knives, and scissors, it wasn’t a fight—it was a massacre.
