Chapter 4: Global Zero-Dollar Shopping (Part 2)
Twenty meters beneath the beautiful Federal Reserve Bank, a sealed steel vault lay hidden, encased in solid concrete walls.
Inside, the steel chamber spanned an area about half the size of a football field.
There was only one way in or out: a thick, airtight steel door in the center of the ceiling, protected by a secure passcode system.
Mu Jiu had no idea how the door opened—but she didn’t need to.
The vault was divided into over a hundred small rooms, each labeled with a number representing the country or institution that stored its gold there.
Inside the rooms, gold bars the size of green bricks were stacked neatly on solid metal shelves for easy inventory and organization.
The glitter of gold was mesmerizing. Mu Jiu circled the vault with her mouth agape the entire time, astonished by the sheer volume.
“Miss, would you like a refill on your coffee?”
Snapped out of her daze by a blonde, blue-eyed waitress, Mu Jiu quickly blinked and regained her usual cool demeanor.
“No, thank you. May I use your restroom?”
“Of course! Go straight to the end and turn right.”
Following the directions, Mu Jiu slipped into the restroom.
Once the door was locked, she vanished into her personal space and used the portal mirror inside to enter the vault.
The design of the Federal Reserve’s gold vault was nearly flawless.
A completely sealed space, with armed guards on 24-hour rotation guarding the only entrance.
No ordinary thief would ever dare touch this place unless they had a death wish.
But Mu Jiu was far from ordinary—she didn’t need to use the front door at all.
Wearing a bikini-style head cover and an expression of complete indifference, she strutted through the vault, room by room, looting gold bars with precision.
Every visible inch was cleared. Not a single piece was left behind.
By the time the alarm blared and the armed guards finally cracked open the sealed door, Mu Jiu had long since exited the vault and calmly walked out of the restroom.
The authorities quickly locked down the entire financial district, screening all suspicious individuals.
But by then, Mu Jiu had already driven her rented beat-up SUV out of the city and was cruising down the highway toward the suburbs.
News of the Federal Reserve’s vault being robbed quickly made global headlines, shaking the world!
After all, that vault housed the gold reserves of nearly every nation on Earth.
The United States had no reasonable explanation. Some media even gave the event a supernatural spin:

But international voices were more cynical:

But what did any of that have to do with Mu Jiu?
Only she, heaven, and earth knew the truth—no one could trace her space portal.
Driving her old car down the road, Mu Jiu stopped at a large gas station and began refueling.
After filling up the tank, she pressed her finger to the nozzle, making contact with the gasoline.
In an instant, the entire underground fuel tank connected to the pump was absorbed into her space warehouse.
Red warning lights flashed across the gas station as staff scrambled to check for malfunctions.
Nothing like this had ever happened before!
While the staff was in chaos, Mu Jiu coolly paid her one-yuan bill and drove away.
Because the gasoline was absorbed too fast, the pump’s meter didn’t record it accurately—showing just one yuan’s worth.
Mu Jiu had just bought an entire gas station’s worth of fuel for one yuan!
Her space storage could be segmented by her will, and the gasoline was safely contained in an isolated sub-space for preservation.
Next, posing as a tourist, Mu Jiu visited several massive farms on the outskirts of the city, each spanning tens of thousands of acres.
From the highway, the farms stretched out endlessly, with tall grain silos neatly lined along the roadside.
Each farm had both livestock and crop zones.
In the livestock areas, there were miniature horses, dairy cows, donkeys, ostriches, rabbits, piglets, goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, and sheepdogs guarding the pastures.
The crops included thousands of acres of corn, wheat, peanuts, potatoes, soybeans, and pumpkins, as well as vast vegetable and fruit-picking gardens.
Mu Jiu enthusiastically tried out milking cows, shearing sheep, riding horses and ostriches, feeding pigs, and cuddling rabbits.
After nightfall, she parked in a hidden spot nearby and entered her space.
But the sight that greeted her made her stop in her tracks just outside the glass greenhouse.
The mist that once surrounded the greenhouse had completely cleared, revealing endless white land stretching into the horizon.
This scene hadn’t existed in her previous life’s space!
Mu Jiu probed with her consciousness for a reason behind the change—and aside from the disappearance of thousands of tons of gold, all other resources remained intact.
Then came a sudden childlike voice from behind her:
“Congratulations to Little Jiujiu for unlocking the ‘Bebe Doomsday Farm’—Available Area: 1 million acres!”
Startled into a cold sweat, Mu Jiu turned around to see—
A black-and-white baby panda!
Chubby, with a tiny hoe slung over its shoulder and a basket hanging from it, speaking to her!
“You are…?” Mu Jiu asked in confusion.
The panda scratched its belly clumsily and grinned, revealing two shiny buck teeth.
“I’m Beibei, your doomsday farm steward!
I can grow the tastiest crops and raise the fattest livestock.
Please shower me with resources—Beibei will cheer for you, Jiujiu!”
Alright then!
Without another word, Mu Jiu stepped into the greenhouse. When she came out, she was already standing in that massive farm from earlier.
Her top priority was to collect all the alert barking sheepdogs before they raised the alarm—handing them straight over to Beibei.
Moving swiftly, Mu Jiu hopped into a farm electric cart and, in just half an hour, emptied the entire enormous farm—not a single feather left behind!
Then she rushed to the next one. In short, her mission was clear: gather, hoard, repeat! No hesitations!
By dawn, Mu Jiu had cleared out 10 mega-farms in the U.S.
Even the corn maze attractions and the hundreds of roadside grain silos were all taken into her space.
After an exhausting night, she looked for another gas station to refuel her beat-up SUV.
By then, Beibei had already sorted and cataloged all the food and resources she had gathered—and promptly reported to her!
