Chapter 5: Global $0 Shopping Spree (Part 3)
“Xiao Jiu, here’s what you fed into the space last night:
As for vegetables—tomatoes, onions, cabbage, bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, pumpkins, etc.—a total of 3 million tons.
Fruits like apples, grapes, pears, peaches, cherries, mangoes, blueberries, etc.—another 3 million tons.
Seeds for grains, economic crops, vegetables, fruits, and forage crops—5 million tons in total.
All of this has been stored in the infinite preservation warehouse!
Also, 500,000 fruit trees have been relocated into a separate farming area.
Freshwater seafood—fish, shrimp, frogs, eels, soft-shelled turtles, etc.—totaling 300 tons, are now being raised in newly-dug ponds.
As for livestock:
And 1,022 sheepdogs to manage the ranch—all successfully settled in the farm!”
Mu Jiu was stunned at her own efficiency.
In just one night, she had stocked up enough food for the next million years!
While gloating, she casually looted a gas station’s fuel supply—then drove off amid blaring alarms.
She checked into a nice hotel, had breakfast, and enjoyed a deep nap.
By the time she woke up, night had fallen again—time for action.
This time, Mu Jiu didn’t even step out of her hotel room. She directly entered her space and jumped to the giant warehouse store across the street—Walmart.
It was the biggest warehouse-style supermarket in the city, covering nearly 100,000 square meters.
The scale fit the American “bulk-buying” culture perfectly.
Inside, the towering shelves looked just like an actual warehouse, with huge quantities of every item imaginable.
Just the tissue aisle alone had over a hundred brands, taking up nearly 2,000 square meters.
Food, drinks, electronics, furniture, sports gear, clothing, basic medicine—you name it, there were millions of each.
Mu Jiu started by putting on a cute mascot costume used for in-store promotions.
She then picked a hoverboard and zipped around, looting from one end to the other.
In less than 30 minutes, she had emptied the entire store.
Security footage only caught a cartoon mascot joyriding through the store—wherever it passed, everything vanished…
Of course, even the cameras weren’t spared.
After cleaning out Walmart, Mu Jiu drove to Lake Superior, the largest of the five Great Lakes and the largest freshwater lake by surface area in the world.
Smiling, she dipped her hand into the lake water.
At the exact moment the first rays of dawn broke the horizon, the entire Lake Superior mysteriously vanished from the Earth—stored safely in Mu Jiu’s infinite warehouse.
She had long planned this—reserving it for a future global drought emergency.
With that, Mu Jiu’s American raid was complete. She had already secured her flight out.
Within three days, the U.S. experienced the largest thefts in its history. The authorities were in utter chaos.
Officials declared nationwide martial law, pledging the country’s dignity to catch the thief gang!
Mu Jiu saw this announcement while using airplane WiFi on her flight to Japan—and laughed out loud.
So much for the great American pride—it was getting stomped into the dirt.
Upon landing in Japan, she wasted no time. She rented a pickup truck and a tiny 4WD beater.
Disguised and geared up, she began sweeping up gasoline and diesel from every gas station she could find.
She also raided several warehouses of BBQ charcoal and industrial charcoal manufacturers.
She acquired:
Enough to refine Monkey King in an alchemy furnace, she joked.
As for food and daily goods—Mu Jiu didn’t dare touch them.
Japan was a nuclear-polluted country. Whether food or household goods, none were safe.
She couldn’t risk contaminating her storage space with even one “rat turd in the rice pot.”
So, Mu Jiu spent two days covering every gas station she could find.
She collected around 700,000 tons of gasoline and 800,000 tons of diesel.
Then she boarded a flight to Germany.
While Japan didn’t declare martial law, likely still laughing at America, they were probably too embarrassed to report anything.
Mu Jiu didn’t care. She carried on as usual.
She cleared out Germany’s gas stations, supermarkets, and weapon stores—basic protocol for “international zero-dollar shopping.”
Next, she raided Mercedes-Benz’s export warehouse on the third night.
She collected 100,000 brand-new Mercedes vehicles—sedans, pickups, SUVs, RVs, trucks of all sizes.
She then visited Hamburg Shipyard and stored 10,000 yachts, fishing boats, and cruise ships.
Done with Germany, she moved on again.
Besides the basics—fuel, groceries, and weapons—
She looted:
By the time Mu Jiu returned home, it was July 28th—3 days before the apocalypse began.
It was also the day her hot spring villa was ready for inspection.
From the airport, she went straight there.
The renovation was complete. She checked everything thoroughly inside and out.
Every detail was top-notch, perfectly customized to her needs—even animal sheds in the backyard were insulated.
Satisfied, she paid the final balance. With this steel fortress, surviving the initial apocalypse would be a lot easier.
From today on—she officially moved into her new home!
After paying the bill and travel expenses, Mu Jiu still had 350,000 yuan left.
Lounging on her cloud-like sofa, snacking on imported treats from Walmart, she tapped away at her phone.
In 2 hours, she took out every online micro-loan and payday loan she could find.
Totaling 2.2 million yuan, due in one month—with a triple interest penalty if unpaid.
But in three days, the world would end. There’d be no electricity, water, internet, or law—who’d care about loans then?
Thus, Mu Jiu’s available funds increased to 2.55 million yuan.
