Chapter 110: This Good Thing Doesn’t Need to Count Me In

Hu Yao mumbled, “……What did I promise you?”

Jiang Han thought for a moment, “Quite a lot, let me think about it.”

“Ten or eight children, sir.”

“I didn’t promise you that!” Hu Yao retorted, unable to bear his nonsense. Back then, she was naive, only a few years old, how could she possibly say she would have ten or eight children with him!

He always wanted her to have children!

Jiang Han glanced at her, “You said your mind is broken, how do you know if you did or not?”

Hu Yao: “…”

He was being deliberate!

“Hurry up, when the one in your belly comes out, be more proactive in sleeping with me, don’t just sleep on your own without waiting for me to come back!” He spoke these words without any shame, taking it for granted.

“One night, three to five days of rest, constantly complaining about this ache and that pain.”

“You cling to me so tightly, yet you never hear me complain about pain?”

Hu Yao’s face flushed red, her moist eyes glared at him with shame and anger, unable to speak.

Early that morning, Jiang Xiaochao noticed a strange atmosphere at home, but he wasn’t quite sure what was strange. He stared at them with his wet eyes for a few moments, then obediently and seriously ate his breakfast.

His little finger needed to be bandaged every two or three days. After breakfast, Hu Yao carefully changed his bandage and wrapped it up.

The mother and son stayed home today and didn’t go anywhere. Hu Yao leisurely used the dried vines to weave a few cylindrical rattan baskets. She was skilled and made them very delicate and beautiful.

She wove them to hold the miscellaneous trash at home, and she put one in Jiang Xiaochao’s room.

His habit of stealing snacks at night still persisted. Hu Yao and Jiang Han had told him many times, but he still couldn’t completely change. Hu Yao had no choice but to tell him not to hide the snacks under his pillow, to eat whenever he wanted, but to remember to rinse his mouth and wash his hands before going to bed.

Jiang Xiaochao happily agreed.

However, he didn’t hide and eat, it seemed like he didn’t have as much craving anymore.

Perhaps hiding and stealing snacks to eat was more delicious.

These days were very peaceful. Hu Yao was either doing housework or making her own crafts at home, occasionally taking Jiang Xiaochao to town for a walk, visiting the wine shop or Qiu Yingwen’s place for a chat.

Her social circle was small, but comfortable.

Jiang Han had previously forbidden her from going out, partly because she had just recovered, and he wasn’t sure if she would “go crazy” and make a fuss again. Later, she became pregnant, and the fetus was unstable, so he didn’t let her go out.

There was another reason, which was his obvious possessiveness of her.

But he wasn’t really unreasonable. Hu Yao realized that while he would say no to her doing this or that, if she really wanted to do it, he would still let her do it, even though he might frown.

Just don’t listen to him…

Having discovered this, Hu Yao gradually became “bold.”

Jiang Han, who didn’t know his authority in Hu Yao’s eyes was declining, finalized a new tea deal with another businessman from out of town. When he got home, he went to Tang’s house to make scallion pancakes for Hu Yao.

Hu Yao really liked the scallion pancakes made by Tang Hao Fei’s second sister-in-law. She was embarrassed to always eat theirs, so she tried to make them herself, but they always came out different.

One night, she suddenly woke up and sat there in a daze. Jiang Han instinctively thought she was going to “go crazy.”

Fortunately, she wasn’t. She said to him in a half-asleep, half-awake voice that she wanted to eat scallion pancakes.

He was speechless. Where was he supposed to find scallion pancakes for her in the middle of the night! He impatiently told her to go back to sleep, there was everything in her dreams.

She seemed a little wronged, but she obediently lay down and continued to sleep.

She fell asleep quickly after waking him up, but he couldn’t sleep for some reason. He was haunted by her wronged expression when he yelled at her about wanting to eat.

“Hey! That’s right, knead the dough like this, be patient and fry it slowly over low heat.” Tang’s second sister-in-law smiled and instructed him. Seeing Jiang Han, who was so loving towards his wife, she felt particularly happy. She generously taught him her unique scallion pancake recipe, and couldn’t help but sigh that Hu Yao was truly blessed. How many men would personally learn to make a pancake just because their wife wanted to eat it? It was rare!

“Brother, how long are you going to do this! I’m going to throw up from eating your pancakes every day!” Tang Hao Fei leaned against the kitchen door of his own house, watching Jiang Han seriously making pancakes, looking like a “good man,” and felt speechless.

He was really speechless! He didn’t even have food at his own house! He had to eat these unfinished pancakes made by Jiang Han!

Why was he, the legitimate “young master” of the Tang family, so low in status at his own home! He had to report and get permission to come back!? Jiang Han came to his house as if it were his own, coming and going freely, and taking pancakes! Just because he was married and had a wife and son?

Damn.

“Get out of here! Don’t bother A Han while he’s learning to make pancakes!” Tang’s second sister-in-law impatiently chased him away, and couldn’t help but say, “Where did you go yesterday? Mom and Dad asked you to go on a blind date, why didn’t you go? The girl waited for you at the restaurant for so long! Why are you so clueless at such a big age!”

Tang Hao Fei’s nonchalant posture didn’t change at all, he even laughed mischievously, “Second sister-in-law, I didn’t go because it’s good for you! You see, you introduced all the aunts, uncles, neighbors, and anyone with a connection to me. I didn’t pay attention to them before, but now I’ve gone, it would be disrespectful to those before, so it’s better to avoid them from accidentally holding a grudge against you!”

He said it seriously.

Tang’s second sister-in-law was so angry, she directly picked up a piece of firewood and straightened his slouching posture, “Your nephews are about to get married! Do you want to make us die of anger?”

“Isn’t that because I haven’t found the right one? I’ve been trying hard, Second sister-in-law! I’ve found several every month!” Tang Hao Fei said seriously.

He didn’t say anything, but as soon as he did, Tang’s second sister-in-law was even angrier, “What kind of people have you been finding! Are they the kind who can live a life together? They all look like they’re not serious, and they’re not serious people!”

“Wow, Second sister-in-law, how can you say that about those girls.” Tang Hao Fei clicked his tongue.

“Shut up! You must get married this year! Your grandmother and the others said so too! Today–>>

“If you haven’t settled down and started a family by the end of the year, you don’t need to come back!”

Tang Er 嫂 hit him a few more times: “Look at Ahan and his wife, how good they are now!”

“That’s right, Ahan’s wife has some good friends, introduce one to Haofei!” She suddenly thought, getting excited. What parent doesn’t want their son to marry a good girl? The Tang family now dreams of finding a good wife for Tang Haofei to come back and discipline him.

Jiang Han glanced at Tang Haofei, flipped a pancake for his subordinate, thought for two seconds: “The one she’s been playing with recently is a widowed woman with a child.”

In Tang Haofei’s eyes, this was undoubtedly helping him, and he immediately responded: “Look at the second sister-in-law! How can a widow be worthy of me! And she is directly a father! There is no need to count me in this good thing!”
