Chapter 161: Your Hair is Blowing Bubbles
“Move away, it’s so hot.” His tall figure loomed over her, and Hu Yao’s exposed arm brushed against his warm, strong arm, instantly feeling a wave of heat. She gently pushed him away.
He was always hot, and now in the middle of summer, he often didn’t wear a shirt at home, finding it too hot.
He himself complained about the heat, yet he liked to hold her close and keep her by his side. His body temperature was much higher than hers. Winter was fine, but in the summer, being stuck together for two days was unbearable.
Hu Yao hadn’t dared to say anything or resist before, but now things were different.
“What do you mean? You can lean on Jiang Fuchao, can’t you?” Jiang Han was displeased.
Just now, she was so close to Jiang Fuchao, why didn’t she push him away and say it was hot then?
“I’m not hot, I’m cool after taking a bath!” Jiang Xiaochao grabbed his own shirt hem, patted his white and tender belly that was covered in baby powder, and offered to let Jiang Han feel it too.
Jiang Han wanted to flatten that belly that was always exposed and annoying.
“Mom, Dad is glaring at me!” Jiang Xiaochao yelled.
He used to go to Jiang Han to complain, but now he liked to tell Hu Yao about Jiang Han’s wrongdoings.
“Why are you glaring at him?”
Sure enough, Hu Yao defended him again, asking Jiang Han a question with a puzzled expression.
Jiang Xiaochao was only four years old today, and his father wouldn’t let him get away with anything.
“Did I say I was only glaring at him?” Jiang Han glared at her equally, coldly snorted, got up, and threw the yarn in his hand towards the shower room to take a bath.
It was so hot that both he and his son took cold showers, but Hu Yao was different, she took a warm shower.
Although she also found it hot, strangely, taking a cold shower felt a bit cold.
“Mom, there are so many stars tonight!”
There were several lounge chairs made by Jiang Han at home. When Jiang Han went to take a bath, the mother and son put away the yarn, took the lounge chairs, and went out to the yard to cool off.
Jiang Xiaochao was counting the stars on his little fingers, counting five, ten, and that was enough.
The two puppies were most lively at night. When they saw them, they surrounded them, wagging their tails and circling around, occasionally barking a few times.
The puppies were no longer very small. They had grown a lot after being raised for a few months.
When they were first brought home, they were cute and docile, and even a bit timid. Now, after being raised for a long time, they had become “arrogant and domineering,” and even fierce. They didn’t recognize anyone except Hu Yao and Jiang Xiaochao. Not to mention Song Sikai and the others, even when Jiang Han went out and came home, they would pounce on him, baring their teeth and roaring fiercely at him, looking like dogs who didn’t recognize their own family.
As soon as they barked, Jiang Han would grab their necks and throw them out, and now they were much calmer.
Jiang Han had also coldly said that maybe Jiang Fuchao had said bad things about him to the dogs.
Jiang Xiaochao felt guilty and finally admitted that he had indeed said bad things about him to the dogs.
Before, Xiaoniu didn’t like the two puppies. Whenever they ran close, he would kick them, kicking them until they whimpered sadly, but they still loved to run up to Xiaoniu and get kicked.
Now, it was the other way around. They couldn’t stand Xiaoniu and would always provoke him, even deliberately peeing and pooping in his cow shed.
The one cow and two dogs in the house could be said to be unable to stand each other.
Jiang Xiaochao, the little master, tried his best to keep the water level even. Whenever they started fighting, he would run over to mediate, telling the one cow and two dogs not to fight, and after comforting one, he would comfort the other. If they really wouldn’t listen, he would glare at them with a fierce face and spank their butts.
“Mom, look at that cloud, it looks like an egg!” Jiang Xiaochao picked up one of the dogs, patted off the dry grass on its body, and softly pointed to the sky and said to Hu Yao.
The night was beautiful tonight. The stars were shining brightly, the moonlight was clear, and the faint and bright light illuminated the yard. The cool breeze blew gently, making it comfortable and pleasant.
Hu Yao looked in the direction of his little finger and indeed saw a cloud that had gathered together, looking very much like an egg. She smiled and nodded: “Yes.”
“That looks like Niu Niu’s head.” Jiang Xiaochao, having received her approval, immediately happily pointed to another place, saying in a childish voice that he didn’t know who had bitten the moon tonight.
His little head was full of thoughts about food. A long time ago, he had told Hu Yao that the moon looked like the banana and cake he ate.
“Dad bit it! Dad loves to bite…” Jiang Xiaochao suddenly thought of Jiang Han.
“I’ll bite your head later!” Jiang Han strode over, not giving him a chance to finish his sentence.
He had taken a bath and washed his hair. His whole body was wet, his upper body was bare, his muscles were strong, and he possessed an invisible, powerful force. His arm swung, shaking off the water droplets from his hair, his movements casual and leisurely.
Hu Yao was lying on the lounge chair. As soon as he approached, the water he shook off his hair fell into her eyes.
Both eyes!
She quickly reached out to rub her eyes and covered them, feeling a slight stinging sensation.
“You’re covering your eyes as soon as I come? I’m dirtying your eyes?” Jiang Han saw her actions and walked closer with a bad temper. He bent down, propped his arms on the armrests of her rocking chair, and looked down at her with cold eyes.
“The water from your hair got in my eyes!” Hu Yao was upset. She didn’t let him use a towel to dry his hair, and he would never dry it. Every time, he would just shake it, shaking it until the water droplets were gone.
“You haven’t washed clean, there’s foam!” After a while, Hu Yao opened her slightly red eyes and protested to him.
He had just taken a bath, and there was a clear, clean scent of soap on him. He was tall and strong, and when he bent down and leaned close to her, propping his arms around her, even though there was a small distance between them, Hu Yao still felt like she was in his arms.
“Where am I not clean? You’re talking nonsense with your mouth open, as if you’re the only one who knows how to take a bath!” Jiang Han carefully looked at her eyes, and found that they were indeed a little red. He reached out and rubbed them for her.
It became even redder.
“I’ll blow on it for you.” He changed his method.
Hu Yao pushed away his head that was getting close, sat up, and stopped him from bothering her. Although he was “gentle” with her now, many of his actions were still uncontrollable and clumsy. If he wasn’t careful, he would hurt her, but he still thought he was controlling his strength enough.
“Go wash your hair again,
“There are still bubbles.” Hu Yao urged him, looking up at his head, she said seriously. This time he was the least thorough in washing.
He usually showered quickly, and washing his hair was even more impatient. He would just rinse it quickly, very rough.
“Where are the bubbles, it’s clean enough!” Jiang Han grumbled. In the past, he rarely used soap to wash his hair. In the summer, he almost showered every day, and he would just pour a bucket of water over his head.
It was only after she recovered her sanity that she made him use soap every day, it was a lot of trouble.
“Dad, your hair is blowing bubbles!” Jiang Xiaochao knelt and leaned on the armrest of the rocking chair, interrupting, exclaiming.
Recently, Jiang Han’s hair had grown longer. He didn’t have time to cut it, and he didn’t seem to care about cutting it, so he just let it grow.
There was indeed a small area of foam behind his ear that hadn’t been washed clean. The evening breeze blew, and a few bubbles floated up, just floating in front of Hu Yao and him.
