Chapter 89: Not Talking About Xiaochao
The Wang family were a bunch of bullies who were afraid of strength. Seeing Du Ximei’s posture, they didn’t dare to step forward and stop her, even though she was holding Jiang Guihua in her hand.
Jiang Xiaochao was relieved, and he yelled in a small voice, “Dry Mom is so awesome! She beat her mouth! She scolded Mom! And me!”
“They beat them together too!” He clenched his little fists.
Du Ximei looked at him with a helpless and doting expression and nodded in agreement.
The Wang family members retreated in fear. Wang Juanping, whose arm had been broken by Du Ximei, screamed and ran away when Du Ximei’s smiling and chilling gaze swept over her.
“It might be a little messy. Sister, you’re timid and pregnant. You and Chaochao go sit down first. I’ll clean it up soon!” Du Ximei smiled at Hu Yao and took the spiky stick from her hand.
Du Ximei really gave the Wang family a good beating…
At first, the Wang family was afraid of her and didn’t dare to act rashly. But when she actually hit them in the face, how could they not fight back? They thought that Du Ximei was just a woman, and they were so many of them, how could they be afraid of her and not be able to beat her!
In the end, they discovered that they really couldn’t beat her!
Jiang Guihua and the Wang family were all beaten up by Du Ximei in front of Jiang’s house.
They cursed loudly, but finally left reluctantly, carrying their luggage that had been thrown on the ground.
“Dry Mom~”
“Dry Mom!~”
After this incident, Jiang Xiaochao admired her even more. His eyes shone brightly as he looked at her. After she came back from beating them up, he was very enthusiastic about serving her tea and snacks, and he didn’t forget to give some to Hu Yao.
Hu Yao was amused by his little appearance, and the gloom in her heart dissipated a lot.
“Ximei, thank you.” Hu Yao thanked her softly.
Thinking about it now, she was a little impulsive just now. She was still pregnant, and if Du Ximei wasn’t there, she didn’t know what would have happened.
“What’s there to thank me for? It’s all trivial matters! I felt that you were very compatible with me the first time I saw you! If anyone bullies you in the future, just tell me!” Du Ximei winked playfully at her.
Hu Yao smiled slightly, feeling a warmth in her heart.
“By the way, sister, don’t tell Sikai about what just happened! What if it affects my image in his eyes.” Du Ximei said, looking a little distressed.
Hu Yao quickly agreed, “I won’t tell him!”
Seeing Du Ximei’s skills just now, Hu Yao was a little curious. Song Sikai had said that the first time he met Du Ximei, it was a scene of a hero saving a damsel in distress. He saw that Du Ximei was being bullied by hooligans and then “acted bravely.”
“Oh~ Those were all my little brothers.” Du Ximei waved her hand.
She didn’t let them come to drink when she got married to Song Sikai because they wanted to come.
“…”
Hu Yao took a sip of water to moisten her dry throat, not knowing what to say for a moment. It would be best if Song Sikai was always so good to Du Ximei, otherwise, there would be a lot of people beating him up.
“Sister, I’m not a bad person!” Afraid that Hu Yao misunderstood, Du Ximei quickly explained. Those hooligans were all subdued by her strength! She brought them together to change for the better and do good deeds to repay the people!
“I’ve been raised by my grandfather since I was little. My grandfather went to the battlefield when he was young, and our family has been practicing martial arts for generations. He taught me since I was little, telling me to be a good person and serve the people! I originally wanted to join the army, but something happened and I couldn’t go. Then I…” Du Ximei blabbered on to Hu Yao.
Don’t look at Du Ximei as a cute little girl, but because she grew up with boys who fought and played together, there were no girls to play with her.
When she grew up a little and clearly knew that she was a girl, she learned to be more refined, but she still didn’t have a close friend! She treated her brothers as brothers, and they treated her as brothers too!
Song Sikai treated her as a weak and vulnerable little girl who was easily bullied! How novel that feeling was! She tested him a few times, and he immediately followed her! It saved him from having to run around a few more times and discovering the truth.
She also really likes this gentle sister, Hu Yao! Jiang Xiaochao is also very much to her liking!
Du Ximei’s parents died on a mission when she was very young and had no memory of them. Although she didn’t have her parents’ protection, she still had her grandfather who loved her very much. Her personality was nurtured to be cheerful and outgoing.
From the first time she met Du Ximei, Hu Yao liked and envied her lively and cheerful personality, and it was even more so after getting to know her.
…
Jiang Guihua and her family were driven out by Hu Yao and beaten up by Du Ximei. They were filled with anger and told everyone how bad Hu Yao was and how vicious and nosy Du Ximei was.
They also said that Jiang Han didn’t hit Hu Yao in vain. A wife like her deserved to be beaten to death. She even dared to hit her elders! When Jiang Han came back, Hu Yao would know her mistake.
For a while, there was gossip in the village. It wasn’t about Jiang Guihua and the Wang family, but about guessing why Hu Yao was beaten by Jiang Han, following Jiang Guihua’s words.
The next day, Jiang Guihua and the Wang family were beaten up again.
It was done by Song Sikai.
Du Ximei went home to complain to him, feeling wronged that she helped Hu Yao and the Wang family bullied her, and now Jiang Guihua was spreading rumors that she was born with a father but no mother.
Her pitiful and sad look made Song Sikai feel sorry for her, and his face turned ugly.
Jiang Xiaochao complained to him that the Wang family bullied Hu Yao not long ago. He hadn’t had time to contact Jiang Han yet, but the Wang family was so bold that they even bullied his wife!
After comforting Du Ximei, Song Sikai immediately went to teach the Wang family a lesson. Bullying his wife, even Jiang Han’s relatives wouldn’t work!
After teaching the Wang family a lesson, Song Sikai contacted Jiang Han and told him about it in an exaggerated way.
“That’s right, brother! Your cousin’s family beat Xiaochao until he cried! They were so arrogant!”
“Xiaochao was so wronged!”
“Xiaochao…”
“…What? Oh, not talking about Xiaochao…
“…Sister-in-law? My wife said she cried quite miserably, your aunt kept pointing her nose and scolding her! Tsk tsk tsk, thankfully I didn’t bully my wife’s aunt like that…”
“Ah? You’re back now? That batch of goods… Yeah, also Tang Haofei.”
…
Hu Yao didn’t know how Song Sikai told Jiang Han about how she was bullied and cried, although Jiang Guihua was chased away by her, she still came to the door every now and then to criticize and mock, saying many nasty things.
At first, Jiang Xiaochao found stones to throw at her, Hu Yao saw that the stones he was finding were getting bigger and bigger, fearing something might happen, she coaxed him to stop throwing stones.
Jiang Xiaochao reluctantly agreed, but still couldn’t stand Jiang Guihua’s arrogant appearance, he angrily went to get his small shovel for playing in the mud and scooped up cow dung with it, smashing it onto her one scoop at a time.
Jiang Guihua was furious again, but she didn’t want to get covered in shit every day, so she left with a gloomy face, secretly waiting for Jiang Han to come back and complain.
