Chapter 14: Beauty Recipe

“What do you mean?”

Lin Yitang’s small face turned cold.

“You should know what I mean. If you still don’t understand, I’ll say it again: I have no interest in you and won’t have any relationship with you.

If you want to stay at the Yu family’s home, don’t use those tricks again. Otherwise, next time, don’t blame me for being ruthless.”

Yu Jingchuan’s expression was serious, his tone filled with a strong warning.

Lin Yitang understood now. Yu Jingchuan believed she had deliberately tried to seduce him.

She couldn’t help but sneer. The man’s cold and arrogant gaze reminded her of Yu Jingchuan’s attitude towards her in her past life.

Yu Jingchuan was still so aloof and superior, but she wouldn’t be hurt or feel inferior because of his attitude anymore.

“Commander Yu, whether you believe it or not, this was an accident. Don’t worry, I don’t want anything to do with you, and I’ll move out of the Yu family’s home as soon as possible.”

Lin Yitang had planned to leave the Yu family’s home soon. She had earned enough money to support herself independently.

“That’s best.”

Yu Jingchuan withdrew his gaze from Lin Yitang and quickly went upstairs.

Lin Yitang felt no emotion, but Yu Jingchuan had affected her appetite, making her noodles taste bland.

After eating and cleaning up, Lin Yitang returned to her room and counted her money. She had over two hundred yuan, enough for a rental deposit.

She should look for an apartment in the next few days and move out as soon as possible.

After putting away the money, Lin Yitang entered her space and discovered that the vegetables she had planted were fully grown.

Each one looked almost the same size, plump and juicy, indicating deliciousness.

There were herbal formulas, medicinal food, and even instructions for making topical ointments.

Lin Yitang’s eyes widened. She had found a treasure!

She took the book out of the space and, forgetting everything else, read it from beginning to end.

The more Lin Yitang read, the more excited she became. She knew that no woman didn’t love beauty.

With these recipes, would she still worry about not making money?

A bright future beckoned.  Feeling sleepy, Lin Yitang reluctantly fell asleep.

The next morning, Lin Yitang got up early. She had completely recovered and should give Chu Peilan acupuncture.

Downstairs, to Lin Yitang’s surprise, Yu Jingchuan hadn’t returned to the army but was sitting at the dining table.

“Yitang, are you feeling better?”

Chu Peilan greeted her and asked her to sit beside her.

“Aunt Chu, I’m completely fine. I’ll give you acupuncture after breakfast, or your legs will hurt again.”

“Okay, eat more. Zhang made some of your favorites. You’ve gotten so thin!”

Chu Peilan was a straightforward person. Before becoming close to Lin Yitang, she hadn’t had a good impression of her.

But recently, after getting to know Lin Yitang better, she discovered that Lin Yitang was a good girl and felt more affection for her.

Lin Yitang didn’t disappoint Chu Peilan’s kindness. After recovering from her illness, her appetite returned. She ate a lot that morning, feeling a little full afterward.

She took a walk in the yard before going upstairs to get her acupuncture kit and giving Chu Peilan acupuncture.

Lin Yitang put away her acupuncture kit and was about to return to her room, but as she went upstairs, Yu Jingchuan stopped her.

“You wanted medicinal herb seeds and seedlings, right? I took a day off today and can take you to choose some.”

Hearing this, Lin Yitang’s eyes lit up.

Great! She wanted to try the recipes from “Beauty Recipes,” but worried about the difficulty and expense of buying the herbs.

With the seeds and seedlings, she could plant them in her space and test the effects.

“When are we going?”

Yu Jingchuan saw the eagerness in Lin Yitang’s eyes.

He said in a deep voice, “We can go now.”

Jirentang. This Chinese medicine shop was famous in Beijing, with several branches. This was the main store. Lin Yitang could smell the herbal fragrance from outside.

“Jingchuan, what brings you here?”

A gentle voice sounded, and a handsome man in a white shirt came out of Jirentang.
